After providing little to no explanation during the Summer House Season 10 Reunion as to why (or when) she chose to engage in a romantic relationship with co-star West Wilson, Amanda Batula is finally admitting that the decision has left her feeling “really f**king stupid.”
On Tuesday’s ‘Summer House’ bonus episode, viewers watched as Lindsay Hubbard confronted Amanda one-on-one about the details of her and West’s relationship, just 20 days after the cast filmed the Season 10 Reunion. Lindsay kicked off the chat by telling Amanda she needed to hear from someone who would give her “the hard truth” about her situation with West.

“You and West made a very adult decision,” Lindsay said. “And now, you have to deal with the very adult consequences that come with that. And you can’t just be the ostrich that puts your head in the sand and pretend it didn’t happen. You have to go through it. You can’t go around it. You can’t go over it.”
“I am going through it and I feel it every day,” Amanda replied.
As fans know, two months after Amanda and husband Kyle Cooke announced their split on social media, Amanda and West dropped a joint statement confirming that they were in a “very new” relationship with each other. This news came after months of speculation from fans, as well as some of the ‘Summer House’ cast– including West’s ex-girlfriend and Amanda’s friend, Ciara Miller.

While Amanda copped to making “some poor decisions” during Tuesday’s episode, she told Lindsay that she had been in “such a sh**ty relationship” with Kyle that she no longer recognized herself. She went on to claim that hanging out with West made her feel “young” and “fun” again.
“I think maybe I confused going out with West and falling in love with myself again and, like, remembering who I am with, like, feelings,” she said. “Hanging out with him and his friends brought out a side of me that, like, I never thought I would see again.”

While Amanda admitted that these feelings made it hard for her to think “logically,” Lindsay argued that it didn’t excuse Amanda starting a relationship with her friend’s ex-boyfriend– the very person who “has broken Ciara’s heart multiple times.”
When Amanda insisted that West had been the one who pursued her, Lindsay informed her that West had been telling everyone else that Amanda was “obsessed” and “had a crush” on him.
“That’s such f**king bulls**t,” Amanda said, before going on to claim that West had been the one reaching out to her, mostly through group texts.

Amanda claimed that after she and Kyle announced their split in January, she decided to start going out more and West was often the person who invited her to join him. She also told Lindsay that at some point, West asked her if there was something going on between the two of them, and Amanda allegedly began to consider the fact that there might be. When Lindsay suggested that this was a clear example of West manipulating Amanda, Amanda simply replied, “those are not my words.”
While Amanda claimed that she questioned what was going on between her and West at the time, Lindsay continued to ask why Amanda didn’t choose to shut it down at that point. In response, Amanda admitted that she was thinking about herself, not Ciara’s feelings.

“I was so selfish and so focused on, like, my happiness and, like, feeling good for the first time,” she said. “It overwhelmed me, this feeling of just, like, just someone caring about me.”
“Yeah, but so many people care about you,” Lindsay said, to which Amanda clarified, “A guy.”
As the conversation between the co-stars continued, Amanda told Lindsay that she felt “unlovable” in her marriage to Kyle, to which Lindsay advised her to learn how to love herself, rather than trying to find reassurance in another man– particularly someone like West, who has a history of “manipulating women everywhere he goes.”
Lindsay also suggested that Amanda explore her dating options and “get the life experience so you don’t make these f**ked up decisions that are gonna mess up your entire f**king life.”

Lindsay went on to remind Amanda that West slept with his ex-girlfriend Meija Moreno in March– after he and Amanda were allegedly dating– and that Meija was unaware at the time that West and Amanda were together.
Amanda later claimed that she was very much aware of how her relationship with West has impacted her life.
“I wake up with, like, the most anxiety about how I’ve, like, f**ked up my whole entire life every single day,” Amanda said.

“Imagine f**king up so bad that we all forgot how bad of a husband Kyle was to you,” Lindsay replied. “Like, you blew up your f**king life when you were winning! I hope that makes you angry.”
Towards the end of Amanda and Lindsay’s chat, an emotional Amanda admitted that she just wanted to be loved and despite wanting that with Kyle, she “felt it so much for West.”
“I just feel, like, really f**king stupid,” Amanda said, to which Lindsay replied, “To be honest, you should feel stupid, and the only way to save yourself in this moment is to separate yourself from the sinking ship that West Wilson is … He’s gotta go.”

Despite Lindsay’s tough-love talk, Amanda went on to accompany West to a wedding in Italy just weeks later.

I would be thrilled to never see or hear from both Amanda and West ever again.
