Jenelle Evans may be living in Florida now, but she brought her old life— mainly her reinstated soulmate David Eason— to the Sunshine State with her!
During an Instagram Q&A session on Wednesday, the fired ‘Teen Mom’ star answered questions about living in Florida…and admitted that her employment-challenged ex has been shacking up in Florida with her. (As The Ashley reported last month, David was photographed helping Jenelle shovel her crap into a moving van on the day she left her Las Vegas rental home. Jenelle— who absolutely, positively did not call the paparazzi on herself— claimed that David was only at her home because she “hired” him to help her move. She has continued to insist that she and David are just “coparenting.”)
During Wednesday’s Q&A though, she confirmed that David is in Florida with her (despite Jenelle currently having an active restraining order out on him.)
Someone asked Jenelle if she would give David “one more chance” (and the delusional fan added that they felt David has “changed).
“Not gonna lie, he’s been helping me out a lot lately,” Jenelle replied.
“Because my leg— I have to get surgery next week on my knee. So, yeah, I’m gonna be using him for a lot more help while I have my surgery.”
Although earlier this month, Jenelle made it seem like David just visited Vegas to help her move (and to see their daughter Ensley), that is not the case. The Ashley’s sources confirmed to her that David had been shacking up at Casa de Jenelle in Vegas for months before the move and never left once they arrived in Florida.
As ‘Teen Mom’ fans know, David and Jenelle split in February 2024, but reconciled in January, despite David currently having pending criminal felony charges for assaulting (via strangulation) and child abuse, stemming from a 2023 incident involving Jenelle’s eldest son Jace, who was 14 at the time. (David’s jury trial for the charges has been set for August.)
Anyway, Jenelle also answered a question about the status of her and David’s swampy love shack on The Land in North Carolina. The couple’s home in North Carolina has sat abandoned for years (except for a brief trip Jenelle and David and the kids made there earlier this year.)
“No, I still haven’t sold my house in North Carolina yet,” Jenelle said. “I have been renovating it and touchin’ it up. But I will put it on the market soon.”
Jenelle added that she is planning on buying a home in Florida.
“Not sure what area because [I’m] renting in Florida right now so exploring different areas and seeing what’s best and what fits best for us in the future. But, yeah, whenever [The Land] goes on the market, I’ll let you guys know.”

She made it seem like it was for Jace’s well being but we all know it was so she could get back together with David without letting Barb win.
