From promising to keep quiet about baby daddies to baby daddies on trial, it’s been a busy week for the stars/former stars of the “Teen Mom” franchise! In an effort to bring you up-to-date on the latest “Teen Mom” news, The Ashley brings you the Teen Mom News Pile.
Here are some of the major (and minor but interesting) ‘Teen Mom’-related things that happened over the last week or so…
Kail Lowry Explains Why She Won’t Be Bashing Her Baby Daddies on Upcoming Podcast Tour

As former ‘Teen Mom 2’ star Kail Lowry prepares to embark on her upcoming Fatherless Behavior podcast tour, the mom of seven has revealed that her live shows will not feature any bashing of her four baby daddies.
“One of my kids’ dads tried to use pictures from my last tour against me in court, which was really interesting,” Kail recently explained to People. “So we’re basically structuring this entire set to not mention any of the dads whatsoever, even in a joking way.

“We don’t really want to open that can of worms the go around,” she added, without revealing which one of her children’s fathers allegedly tried to use her content from her previous podcast tour against her in court.
While Kail also opted not to go into detail about what this baby daddy bashing content consisted of, she memorably used cutouts of her baby daddies’ heads to play some sort of crowd game during her Barely F**king Touring podcast in 2024, so this may be what she is referring to.

Despite Kail vowing to forgo any material featuring her children’s fathers on tour, she claims that fans can expect this podcast tour to be “even more unhinged and fun” than the previous one.
Kail’s ‘Fatherless Behavior’ tour kicks off later this month and includes 20 dates in the U.S. and one stop in London. Joining the former MTV star along the way are different special guests, reality stars and members of her KILLR Network podcast team, including her Karma & Chaos co-host Becky Hayter, and ‘Teen Mom’ couple/Cate & Ty Break It Down hosts Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra and more.
(While Kail’s Coffee Convos co-host Lindsie Chrisley was also set to join her for select tour dates, Lindsie has since dropped out of the tour in the wake of her recent DUI arrest.)
As for how she came up with the name for her podcast tour, Kail credited podcaster Alessandra Gonzalez for making a joke about many people in Kail’s KILLR podcasting circle no longer having their fathers in their lives, mostly due to either death or estrangement.
“At the time the joke first came up, Alessandra and I had estranged dads, Lindsie’s dad [Todd Chrisley] was in prison, and Becky’s dad was dead, so it became ‘fatherless behavior.’ And I said, ‘Oh, if we ever go on tour again, that’s the name of it.’

“So that’s where that came from, and since then, my dad has also died, and so half of my network has dead dads,” she continued. “It all kind of played out kind of perfectly with ‘Fatherless Behavior’ this go around, which was nice.”
Date Set for David Eason’s Trial for Child Abuse & Assault Charges Stemming from 2023 Incident with Jenelle Evans’ Son Jace

It’s been nearly three years since David Eason was charged with child abuse and assault via strangulation for an incident involving his former (?) stepson, Jace, and now it appears that Mr. Jenelle Evans is finally going to have his day in court.
Despite the case being continued (and continued and continued…) for literally years, an administrative hearing was held on June 1 (after being reset nine times). At that hearing, a date for David’s jury trial was finally put on the books for August 24, along with yet another administrative hearing weeks before the trial is due to begin.
(This is not the first time a date for David’s criminal jury trial was set. It was originally set for January but it got continued.)

As The Ashley has reported, David’s criminal charges stem from an incident in September 2023 involving Jace, who was 14 at the time. After running away from Jenelle and David’s home on The Land, Jace told authorities that he was allegedly assaulted by David. The fired ‘Teen Mom 2’ dad received the child abuse charge first and had the felony “Assault by Strangulation” charge added a few months later, due to physical injuries allegedly being present on Jace following the alleged assault. He also had his case moved into Superior Court around that time.
Although he and Jenelle are back together (or “coparenting” as Jenelle is still publicly claiming), David still has a public defender for his trial. When he was first charged, Jenelle hired (and paid for) private attorneys to defend her then-soulmate in his criminal court case. After David and Jenelle split in February 2024, David had to go to the court to let them know he could no longer afford the private attorneys. David was forced to declare himself indigent (aka living in poverty and unable to afford basic life necessities) and begged the court to assign him a public defender, which he received.
(As of press time, it does not appear that Jenelle has shelled out any cash for David to receive a private attorney for his case.)

The Ashley will continue to update on this case…
Mackenzie Douthit Explains Why Her Ex-Husband Josh Doesn’t Have to Pay Child Support For Their Three Kids

Months after confirming on social media that her ex-husband Josh McKee isn’t paying child support for their three children, Mackenzie Douthit is defending her and her ex’s one-sided co-parenting situation, telling fans she’d rather have a peaceful life than Josh’s money.
As fans of ‘Teen Mom: The Next Chapter’ know, Mackenzie and Josh– who split in 2022 after nearly 10 years of marriage– share sons Gannon and Broncs and daughter Jaxie. Following her split from Josh, Mackenzie began dating her now-husband Khasanio Hall, with whom she welcomed twin girls in June 2025.
While Mackenzie has spoken about the fact that Josh has little to involvement in their children’s lives, she’s also made it known that Khesanio has stepped up as a father figure in Josh’s absence. This week on Snapchat, Mackenzie defended her and Josh’s co-parenting situation (or rather, lack thereof) after fans questioned why the father of three isn’t paying child support and is essentially getting “a free pass.”
“ … he doesn’t work, so he can’t provide,” Mackenzie explained. “He can’t even provide for himself, he lives with his mom. So I’m just thankful for peace and I’m thankful that everyone works together. That’s everything.”
A fan also asked Mackenzie if she and Josh ever discussed at what age they would allow their children to choose which parent they want to live with, to which Mackenzie revealed that she and Josh “did not go deep into paperwork” after ending their marriage. She did, however, claim that she and Josh agreed that he would cover half of their kids’ sports expenses and medical costs, as well as transportation.
“ … He’s not done any of that, and that’s fine,” she said.

Mackenzie, who lives in Florida with her husband and kids, went on to tell fans that she and Josh also agreed that Josh would get “some access” to the kids during their school breaks and that Josh gets to see the kids when she takes them to Oklahoma for visits. (Josh agreed to do half of the transporting to get his kids from Florida to Oklahoma but, as expected, has failed to ever do so.)
“He’s never came to Florida, which he is welcome to … ,” she said. “I don’t know, I just think that he’s working really well with us, because even Broncs, who is nine, to Gannon, who is almost 15, whatever they say they wanna do, they get to do [it] … if they say they wanna go to Jamaica instead [of Oklahoma] for Christmas, I know he’d let them.”
Back in December, Mackenzie claimed that when she and Josh divorced, Josh informed her that he didn’t want to pay child support and that he “won’t” pay child support.
“And I said [to him], ‘I don’t wanna go to court,’ and he said, ‘That sounds fantastic. We’re getting along and I don’t have much, you got the house, you got a Ford Explorer, can I have my truck?’ And I said, ‘Yes, you can have whatever you feel is fair that you get.’ And he said, ‘I want my truck.’ And he got his truck,” she recalled. “And that’s it. We did not have to go to court.”
Mackenzie also told fans in December that it wasn’t her job to “sit and talk crap on Josh all day,” and insisted that her children will eventually understand the kind of person their father is.
“It is my job to raise my kids, to wake up every day and be the best mom I can be,” she said. “What he does is his business. Kids will figure out whatever they need to figure out one day.”

Ryan Edwards & Ex-Wife Mackenzie Standifer Reportedly Owe Nearly $300k in Unpaid Taxes

As Ryan Edwards’ current wife Amanda Conner deals with the fallout from her recent DUI arrest, Ryan and his ex-wife Mackenzie Standifer are reportedly facing an outstanding tax debt for nearly $300,000.
According to The Sun, Ryan and Mack have an open tax lien for $291,812.48 from 2018 and 2019, meaning the duo racked up this debt just a year after tying the knot.
As fans of ‘Teen Mom’ know, Ryan and Mackenzie– who share son Jagger and daughter Stella– began what would ultimately be a more than two-year divorce process in February 2023 when Mackenzie filed to end her and Ryan’s union, at which point she also accused Ryan of abuse. The former couple’s divorce wouldn’t be finalized until August 2025. (Ryan went on to wed Amanda– who is also the mother of his daughter Presley– just weeks later.)

The news of Ryan and Mackenzie’s lingering debt comes six months after Amanda shared with TikTok followers that she and Ryan were “low on money” after nearly a year of not receiving an income from MTV. Six months earlier, Ryan made it known that the absence of ‘Teen Mom’ checks had left him cash strapped, as he asked the judge in his child custody case to lower his child support payments for Stella and Jagger, due to his income being drastically lower than what it was when he was appearing on reality TV.
As The Ashley previously reported, Ryan claimed in court documents filed in February 2025 (back when he and the rest of the ‘Teen Mom: The Next Chapter’ cast were still filming) that he was bringing in more than $16,000 a month between his MTV income and the income he was earning from his “regular” job as a mechanic. (Ryan’s “good faith estimate” of Mackenzie’s monthly income was listed at $4,166.)

Like other ‘Teen Mom’ dads who had appeared on the franchise for a long time, Ryan was reportedly earning $35,000 for each episode of ‘Teen Mom: The Next Chapter’ he appeared in. In court documents filed in July, however, he claimed that because the MTV cameras had gone down, he was only earning income from his “regular” job, which allegedly decreased his monthly income to just over $4,200.
While Ryan was ordered in February 2025 to begin paying Mackenzie $1,553 in monthly child support for Jagger and Stella, the judge approved his July request to pay Mackenzie a reduced amount, resulting in him being ordered in August to pay Mackenzie just $613 monthly for their two kids.

Ryan also reportedly owes thousands in court fees stemming from his own legal run-ins with the law back in 2023. Court records obtained by The Ashley in November revealed that Ryan still owed more than $7,000 in court fees for his harassment case, as well as approximately $1,150 for his DUI case from 2023.

At this rate Jace will be a legal adult before his child abuser, David and his trash bag mother, Jenelle will ever see the inside of a courtroom. Because you can bet that Jenelle will be holding David’s hand walking into court with a smart ass smirk on her face.
you know what? i’m someone who always insists that a parent should be financially responsible for their child but i actually commend mackenzie for not even tripping about child support and her reasonings why, it truly does show true growth and maturity on her end and i pray one day josh wakes up and has deep regrets for his little to no involvement in his kids lives but they seem to be way better off without him in the picture! because k still haven’t forgotten the fact that scumbag actually introduced gannon to one of his mistresses and that gannon knew the entire time josh was cheating on mackenzie 🤨🤨
This is the first time that I’ve ever respected a sentence that came out of Mack Hall’s mouth. Those kids ABSOLUTELY deserve peace and even though Josh should be supporting them, if she and Khesanio have ot covered, so be it.
Jenelle and David deserve to suffer in perpetuity for the BS they continue to put Jace (and Kaiser/Ensley) through.
Kailyn sucks and her assortment of baby daddies should sue for all of the nonsense they’ve had to deal with over the years, except for Chris Looez who needs to pay his child support and stop being a vindictive asshole.
💯on Mack, knowing who your parents are and are not is crucial.
This is just a list of POS parents: Kail, Chris, David, Jenelle, Josh, Ryan, Amanda. So many kids trapped with literal POS parents. I feel so sorry for them
