Lindsie Chrisley‘s Memorial Day weekend was apparently a little too lit.
The Ashley can exclusively confirm that the podcaster and former “Chrisley Knows Best” star was arrested on Sunday in Georgia and booked for DUI, reckless driving and more!
An officer at the Cherokee County Jail in Georgia confirmed to The Ashley that Lindsie was arrested and booked into jail around 2 a.m. Sunday. She only spent a few hours behind bars before she was bonded out around 4:30 a.m. Her bond was just under $6000, according to the officer.
The officer stated that Lindsie was charged with Driving Under the Influence (DUI). The ‘Chrisley Knows Best’ star also received the charge of “Attempting to Elude,” which in Georgia is a charge given when the defendant allegedly “fails or refuses to bring his or her vehicle to a stop or otherwise to flee or attempt to elude a pursuing police vehicle or police officer when given a visual or an audible signal to bring the vehicle to a stop.”
(Because this charge was received along with a DUI charge, it is likely going to be a felony charge; however, The Ashley can’t confirm that yet.)
In addition to those charges, Lindsie received a charge of Reckless Driving (which is usually a misdemeanor), as well as Improper Passing, and Speeding.
This is just the latest of Lindsie’s legal issues. As The Ashley previously reported, Lindsie recently dropped the temporary protective order (TPO) request she filed against her ex-boyfriend David Landsman last month, just days after David was arrested for aggravated assault (via strangulation) and battery against her. David— who called 911 on the night of his arrest and claimed Lindsie broke into his house, punched him in the face and more— ended up filing a request for a TPO on Lindsie as well.
Earlier this month, the two agreed to a āmutual no contact orderā earlier this month, which will remain in place until May 6, 2027. Both Lindsie and David dropped their TPO request against the other. David’s criminal charges are currently pending, though.
UPDATE! Lindsie has responded to TMZ, giving her, um, interesting explanation as to why she received the charges.
“I got pulled over speeding past a car on a two-lane road because they almost hit an animal and I was trying to miss hitting them and whatever the animal was,” she told the site.
Lindsie told TMZ that she plans to “fight” the charges against her.
The Ashley has not yet been able to get her mitts on Lindsie’s muggy, but she will update this story when more info is available. Stay tuned…

Lindsie seems to be spiraling, seems like she needs professional help. Theres nothing wrong with that. Im glad she didnt hurt anyone on the road. She would have better off being silent than giving that ridiculous excuse.

Lindsie Chrisley collected charges like reward points this weekend. DUI, reckless driving, speeding, and allegedly trying to elude police. Her Kail Lowry spin-explanation, avoiding a car that was avoiding an animal. Girl, stray home and pay attention to your life for the sake of your children.
Accountability isn’t in this one’s vocabulary.

The excuse she used is quite a choice, but then again this dysfunctional family think everything they do is everyone else’s fault. She’s coming across a lot like good ol’ daddy Todd with the lack of accountability for her actions š¬
