The ‘Love Island USA’ Season 8 reunion finally aired on Monday, giving fans a much-anticipated update on their favorite Villa couples, two of whom, viewers learned, have now called it quits.
The first– and arguably more surprising– breakup reveal of the night came from Corbin Mims and Parmida Keshani. As fans may remember, Bombshell Corbin was quick to set his sights on Parmida in Casa Amor, with the two returning to the Villa together and continuing to grow their connection before getting the boot in Episode 29.

On Monday’s Reunion, Corbin was asked by host Andy Cohen if he and Parmida are still together, to which he replied, “No. Not in relationship terms. But as friendships? Yes.”

When host Ariana Madix proceeded to ask the other Islanders if they were aware that the two fitness fanatics had called it quits, the Season 8 cast seemingly confirmed that the split was news to them. Parmida went on to explain that, after she and Corbin hung out post-Villa, they realized they both wanted “different things.”
“ … there was really no point of being exclusive. Like, it didn’t make sense for us,” she said. “So I am happy with the memories that we made together, but I am excited to grow a friendship. And we’ve been hanging out as friends and it’s been great.”

While Corbin went on to mention that he and Parmida had “some ups and downs” after leaving the Villa, the two didn’t completely close the door on a future recoupling rekindling.
“ … the best thing for us to do is be friends and see how it goes,” Parmida said.
The other couple to fizzle out after leaving Fiji were Bombshell Caleb McDaniel and Jaiden Bacciocco, who, like Corbin and Parmida, connected in Casa Amor. The last-minute match ended up leaving the Villa in Episode 27, in what turned out to be the biggest single-night dumping of Season 8.
Despite Jaiden and Caleb admitting during the Reunion to hooking up their first night outside of the Villa (as well as later on in the Hamptons), Jaiden called out Caleb for not putting any effort towards their connection after leaving Fiji.

“We did have that good night and then after leaving, I got into a very busy lifestyle to where we weren’t texting much,” Caleb (attempted to) explain.
The former couple went on to engage in some back and forth on-stage about the demise of their short-lived romance, during which Andy suggested that Caleb may have let the ‘Love Island USA’ fame get to his head after returning to the real world.
“Is it possible that you got out of the Villa, you were super famous, you were getting DM’d by the world, girls were throwing themselves at you and you wanted to have fun?” Andy asked.
While Caleb denied wanting to “have his cake and eat it too,” as Jaiden accused him of doing, Caleb eventually copped to his missteps– at least for the most part.
“I could’ve handled it more maturely,” he admitted before apologizing to Jaiden for hurting her. “I wish I didn’t.”

The ‘Love Island USA’ Season 8 Reunion is now streaming on Peacock.
