Jacob Roloff continues to spill the (pumpkin-flavored) tea regarding his dad, Matt, asking him to leave Roloff Farms, despite Jacob doing all the maintenance work for the Oregon property for years for low pay. Fans have taken to Matt’s TikTok account to slam his treatment of Jacob.
In a series of TikToks posted over the last week or so, the former ‘Little People Big World’ star has opened up about Matt kicking Jacob’s family off the property, which is currently for sale again after several failed attempts to unload it. In a video posted over the weekend, Jacob revealed that his father has been complaining about Jacob’s work around the farm, particularly his lack of weeding the property.
In the caption of his TikTok video, Jacob claimed that he has let the weeding go due to being “overworked” and “underpaid” and having more-important things to do for the farm that are not cosmetic.
“That’s the type of stuff that’s getting me kicked out of this place,” Jacob said of some overgrown weeds in a corner. “Like, no joke… this is the kind of stuff that’s getting me kicked out because apparently [my dad says] it looks like s**t.”

Jacob went on to say it’s just him and one other person caring for the 100-acre farm, and they lack mechanical tools that would make things easier for maintenance.
When asked in the comment section of another video what Matt plans to do if the farm doesn’t sell this time, Jacob made it clear that he has his doubts that Matt will ever unload the property. (The part of the property that’s for sale includes the main home used on the show. It is for sale for $2.6 million. Jacob and his family live in a trailer on the other side of the property. He has stated he pays Matt $1100 a month in rent, which takes up the majority of the money he makes working at the farm at around $23 an hour.)
“It just won’t [sell], and it will be an albatross left to the kids with 0 runway or chance of keeping it because there has been no chance to build revenue opportunities beyond filming,” he responded.

“Well that’s the question, right?” Jacob’s wife Isabel added. “Why push us out before it sells?”
Isabel added that she and Jacob have reached out to the producers of ‘Little People Big World’ about possibly filming their own show, but stated that they “haven’t heard back about it yet.”
In comments posted over the weekend, Jacob responded to fans who told him he was not entitled to be given Matt’s farm just because he was taking care of it.
“I’m not asking for the farm to be dropped to me or whatever,” he wrote. “I’m not asking to be given the farm. I think some people think that. I just literally want to pay the bills and I want to know what bills those are and if they are structured in the right way.”
Jacob stated that he has asked his dad to allow him to be involved in the farm’s finances, but to no avail.

“That’s what I want involved in, and have wanted involved in,” he said, later responding to a comment from someone suggesting that Matt has a lot of secret debt regarding the farm.
“Certainly some debt I know about; that is another story from ‘regular farm expenses’ and viability though,” Jacob wrote. “Still part of the same larger picture but the blurring of farm and personal is probably some of the issue with getting eyes on this stuff.”
Matt recently posted a video of himself announcing the farm’s annual Pumpkin Festival. Unfortunately (for Matt), nearly every comment left in the comment section was defending Jacob and slamming Matt for his treatment of his son.

I have family who live near the Roloff farm. Amy and her husband live on the street behind my aunt’s house. I am familiar with the area of the farm.
The farm is in a very beautiful area, surrounded by other farms. However, a good deal of that farm land has been sold and now houses multiple data centers. My bet is that Matt will eventually sell his land to become a data center also.
Also, my relatives say the community doesn’t really have anything nice to say about Matt. Amy is well-liked but largely left alone to live her life.

That grown man is not only small in stature, but in spirit. I wish he best for his son, who i will bet money Matt resents for Jacob being everything is he not. Namely a decent man.

There is no way he has to pay rent for all the work he does with only one other worker for all that land.
Matt has been selfish denying his own blood right to live on the land free for all he does.
Matt should be happy to have at least one child who cares enough to be part of the land.
So he’s living on a beautiful farm for free, with his wife and kids, and getting paid. But he’s a victim.
Throughout the history of the show, it was clear that Matt’s kids were always a priority for him and that he gave them a beautiful life. I don’t get why they feel so entitled.

And he pays rent there by working. He does not live there free. But not happy about the situation, those two need to sit down and dicuss wĥat they both feel is fair. Family is family. No matter what. No one should be picking a side. But Jacob is not asking for the farm just to be apart of the financial pat of it more. To me that shows he wants more responsibility. Not entitlement spoiled kid.
I’m confused, what is he saying he’s entitled to? It sounds like he is working to make the farm self-sustaining.
What do you see as his entitlement? He works the farm with only one other person, pays rent, and gets very little income. Do you not think that farm workers should be treated fairly? Especially when that farm worker is the owner’s son?

The property will never sell. If you remember from the show they specifically modeled the kitchen for little people so it was easier for Amy who loved to cook. I believe there may have been other areas in the house that were tailored to Matt & Amy and their size. I would think it would be pretty expensive to remodel those areas of the house especially when Matt wants 2.6 million dollars for the property.
Matt is an ass. He always has been. I think Jacob is a sweet kid and he is married with a family. He is doing his best to take care of a massive 100 acre property for barely scraps that Matt is begrudgingly paying him. He is essentially kicking his son, daughter in law and his grandson out over weeds. I hate that he is putting Jacob through this. On the flip side let’s see who will now take care of the 100 acre property for next to nothing in pay when Jacob leaves.
How is 23.00 an hour “scraps”. It’s not like he’s doing anything that he’s using an education for.If he thinks he’s going to make BIG bucks someplace, good luck. You have to have education and experience for that to happen. But I don’t think Matt should charge them rent. They could live perfectly fine on 23.00 an hour if Matt would not charge rent.

I thought it was only the center island that was made smaller, but I could be wrong. Either way, I don’t see it being a deal breaker. It’s still a spectacular house, plus I would imagine the buyer would be focused more on the land than the house.

It’s fair to the other kids he had to pay something but over a third of his income wasn’t necessary.
A petty, insecure joke of a “man”. Some people get mean when they get older, and resent people with more time. Not sure if its that or what, but sad excuse fir a father.
