‘Teen Mom’ News Pile: Jenelle Evans Claims to Be Filming New Show with Producer Larry; Kail Lowry Reveals Bizarre Baby Names She Almost Used & More

“Dude, I’m coming back to TV! And stuff…”

From making plans to film to making people say “WTF”, it’s been a busy week for the stars/former stars of the “Teen Mom” franchise! In an effort to bring you up-to-date on the latest “Teen Mom” news, The Ashley brings you the Teen Mom News Pile.

Here are some of the major (and minor but interesting) ‘Teen Mom’-related things that happened over the last week or so…

Jenelle Evans Claims She’s Filming a New TV Show with Former ‘Teen Mom’ Producer Larry Musnik

“If I also say I’m gonna hire Farrah Abraham, can someone please come and sedate me because I’m clearly unwell.”

Another day, another threat promise from Jenelle Evans that she will soon be coming to a TV near you!

During a recent TikTok Live, Jenelle said she’s HIGH! HIGH!-tailing it to Miami to do “a lot of different things,” including filming for a new TV show.

“I’m going to be filming something and I’m gonna get the OK about what I can speak about and what I can’t speak about today,” she said.

Jenelle assured her followers that she wasn’t talking about filming something for her OnlyFans.

“I’m talking about TV!” she said. “I’m talkin’ about I’m filming for TV… I had to book a whole week trip to Miami because I have so much stuff planned.”

When she was asked if this new TV offering will feature other ‘Teen Mom’ girls, Jenelle said it won’t but stated that her old ‘Teen Mom’ producer Larry Musnik is supposedly involved in this embarrassment television caper.

“Clearly I make bad life decisions, OK?”

“I will say it’s with my buddy Larry!” Jenelle exclaimed. “You know my old producer Larry? Yeah, we have something up our sleeve!”

“Yeah, and it probably requires penicillin!”

Jenelle assured everyone that they will be surprised by the venture.

“I’m actually so excited,” Jenelle said. “You guys are gonna be like, ‘Oh my God. There has not been a show like this before. And it’s not with MTV. MTV doesn’t really exist right now. They don’t know what they’re doing with MTV.”

Jenelle then tried to act like she was still part of the ‘Teen Mom’ cast (despite being fired— twice— from the franchise.)

“And, ‘Teen Mom,’ we haven’t been cancelled but we’re not filmin’ yet,” she said.

The Ashley will have more info on this new “project” soon.

Kail Lowry Reveals the Bizarre Names She Almost Gave Her Kids

“We lucked out, apparently…”

Most of Kail’s seven kids have, um, “unique” names but she recently revealed she almost saddled some of them with even crazier names than the ones she chose!

During her recent appearance on the Bad Examples podcast, the former ‘Teen Mom’ star talked about the names she had considered— but didn’t use— for her bushel of children. She also made it clear that she — and she alone— was the person who got to decide her kids’ names.

“The dads never really had a choice,” Kail told hosts Tracy DiMarco and Jessica Romano.

“My role was to hold Kail’s foot while she gave birth and that was all I got to do.”

As ‘Teen Mom’ fans know, Kail shares son Isaac (who now goes by his middle name, Elliott— see below) with Jo Rivera, son Lincoln with ex-husband Javi Marroquin; sons Lux and Creed with Chris Lopez; and sons Rio and Verse and daughter Valley with her ex-fiancé Elijah Scott.

Kail revealed that her daughter, Valley, was almost named “Iverson” because, “we’re basketball fans, well my kids are basketball fans.” (Obviously Kail’s name choice was influenced by retired NBA star Allen Iverson.)

“I thought that was like a cool— ” Kail began, before being cut off by the hosts, who obviously did not share her sentiments.

“No!” they said.

Valley’s brother, Rio, came close to having it even worse in the name department.

“Rio was almost—” Kail said before stopping (assumingly in shame because she realizes how bad this name is).

“Rio was almost ‘Cinco,'” she said.

“OK even I’ll admit that one’s borderline child abuse…”

“Straight to jail!” Jessica declared.

Tracy was also shocked by how bad the name was.

“Like your fifth child, Cinco!?” she asked while laughing. (“Cinco” means five in Spanish and Rio was Kail’s fifth child.)

“Jo was right. You do really belong in a cave just for coming up with that name, Kail.”

The hosts then asked Kail to list some of the other baby names she wanted to use but didn’t.

“Nobody better f**king use them, because even though I’m never getting pregnant again, maybe I will!” Kail said.

She went on to state that her “number-one girl name of all time is Navy.”

The other names Kail wanted to use include Mayor, Major, Ocean, Teo, Monty, Rhodes, Wavy and Steel.

“I don’t think you’ve gotta worry about anyone stealing those names, Kail.”

Kail caught a lot of flak for another name on her list, which she apparently wanted to use for a baby girl.

“Shadow with the nickname Shady,” she said.

“Alrighty then…”

The hosts did not understand why Kail would want people calling her daughter ‘shady’ willingly.

“[That] one was aggressive,” Jessica said. “What was it? Shady? Come on Kail!”

“Why would you call someone shady!?” added Tracy.

“Be good or I’ll go down to the social security office and change your name to Shady or Wavy, kids!”

Elliott Rivera Addresses Rumor That He Stopped Going by His First Name Isaac Because That’s His Mom’s Boyfriend’s Name

“Could be worse: your name could be Cinco, kid!”

Kail Lowry’s teenage son Elliott Rivera is clearing up the confusion about his chosen moniker, while insisting that he didn’t ditch his first name “Isaac” because it happens to be the same name of his mom’s current live-in boyfriend, Isaac “Ike” Knighton.

The ‘Teen Mom 2’ kid took to TikTok recently to address the topic, while telling fans that he frequently sees comments on social media from people insisting that his name is Isaac, not Elliott.

Elliott
“Shout out to my mom for unintentionally complicating this whole situation by finding a soulmate with my name.”

“OK, I thought I would talk about this comment, because I get this comment on, like, a million of my videos, and I just wanted to address it because it’s really not that hard to comprehend,” Elliott stated.

As you may remember, during an episode of his mom’s ‘Barely Famous’ podcast last year, Elliott came out as gay and explained that he is now going by his middle name (Elliott) instead of his first name (Isaac), partly because he wanted to separate the person he is today from the kid people watched on TV.

kail elliott
“Are you sure? It would really be a shame if people stopped associating you with that wallpaper storyline line I forced upon you…”

While Elliott acknowledged in his TikTok that some of the comments about his name are likely from “trolls” or people trying to “rage bait” him, he said there may be some fans who are “genuinely confused” about his decision to start going by “Elliott.”

“ … just to address it, like, Elliott is my middle name and that is the reason why I go by it,” he explained. “And for all the people that think it’s because of Ike and his first name, that is not true at all. It is because my middle name is Elliott and I hate my first name.

kail ike
“See? Kids hate their name even when you give them a normal one so you may as well name them random things like Shady!”

Elliott told Barely Famous listeners last year that his father Jo Rivera and Jo’s family were still addressing him as “Isaac,” though he claimed he was OK with it, since they’ve always known him by that name. He also claimed at the time that he didn’t expect either of his parents to start addressing him by his middle name.

“ … I would have been fine if you kept calling me Isaac because I know that transition would have been hard,” he told his mom, who has (at least publicly) been addressing her son as “Elliott” since the podcast episode dropped last summer.

Farrah Abraham Slams ‘Teen Mom’ Co-Stars’ Parenting in Confusing Social Media Rant

Farrah Abraham IG
“My jaw may be wired shut, but the rest of me remains unhinged!”

Farrah Abraham isn’t letting her wired-shut jaw and inability to speak keep her from taking to social media to fire off a few of her infamous nonsensical posts.

On Monday, the fired ‘Teen Mom’ star shared an update on a video she posted back in August regarding the then-potential merger of Paramount and Warner Bros. At the time, Farrah was demanding that all episodes of “16 & Pregnant” and ‘Teen Mom’ be pulled from streaming, citing “generational financial abuse.” She also insisted in her post that the kids of ‘Teen Mom’ were owed money– her 17-year-old daughter Sophia included– and demanded that her former co-stars join her fight against the merger as a way to end “hate watching.”

“…that’s pretty much the only kind of viewership these shows ever had.”

Despite Farrah allegedly submitting a 27-page forensic audit regarding the potential merger directly to state and federal authorities, the merger between Paramount and Warner Bros. became official last week. While this was not the outcome Farrah was hoping for, she took to social media this week to declare victory anyway.

As you do…if you’re Farrah.

“UPDATE OCT 2026 I wanted to report a WIN,” Farrah posted to her Instagram Story. “Grateful I posted and spoke up unlike my cast. I feel sorry for their kids.”

In a follow-up post, Farrah– armed with a thesaurus, but seemingly without full understanding on how one works– claimed that, with this alleged “win,” justice has been served.

(The Ashley has not edited Farrah’s post for clarity to better preserve the genuine “Farrah Speak.”)

“Winning privately for my family is justice to stop financial abuse on TV and entertainment talent, union or non-union there needs to be immediate action towards networks for systemically and generationally abusing families with an audit proved based off data and no lawyer able to argue against it with laws,” she wrote.

“NO lawyer, not even a self-proclaimed one like myself!”

The aspiring politician then went on to accuse her former ‘Teen Mom’ co-stars of dropping the ball by not joining her in her recent efforts, while vowing to never associate with them or any mothers who do not stand up for their children.

“ … the Teen moms of the franchise complain but never joined together to win for their families– woman [sic] need to stand with a woman who can help them,” Farrah wrote. “The teen moms failed themselves and their children in justice. I will no longer have anything to do with mothers who do not stand up for their kids, complain and take part in the problem.

“Blessed even with a major surgery payouts were made,” she continued. “Moms you have the power to make right the wrongs– wake up.”

While Farrah has declared victory on social media, it’s worth noting that, at this time, all seasons of “16 and Pregnant” are still available to stream on Paramount+, as well as all of the spin-offs within the ‘Teen Mom’ franchise.
