Days after The Ashley broke the news that Anna Johnston was arrested for DUI, the former “7 Little Johnstons” star is speaking out (sort of) about her alleged crime, asking fans not to judge her.
As The Ashley told you, Anna was hauled off to jail on October 10 after officers saw her (and her much-older boyfriend Jeffrey Messervy pulled over on the side of the road. Jeff was mad that Anna was driving with alcohol in her system— something Anna denied doing. When cops spoke to Anna, they found her “unsteady on her feet” and having “slurred speech,” making them suspect she was drunk. A field sobriety test and a preliminary breath test (PBT) seemed to confirm their suspicions, as Anna’s test results indicated that her BAC was 0.139. (In Georgia, it is illegal for a driver to have a BAC higher than 0.08%.)
Anna has not released any public statements regarding her arrest. However, she has slid into the comment sections of several creators’ posts about her arrest!
The former “7 Little Johnstons” star is apparnetly not happy to hear creators’ comments about her getting a DUI. Anna left responses in the comment sections of several posts— including posts from TikTok creators @cornygossip and @jessica_jase9.
She responded to @Jessica_Jase9‘s post (which suggested that Anna’s estranged parents Amber and Trent may be right about her, and stated that what Anna allegedly did was “not good.”)
“You’re right not good,” Anna replied before basically asking fans to hold their judgement. “Make sure you are walking a straight path before you judge anyone, including my parents or anyone. Let me know when you are walking a straight path, so I can hear your judgement.”
When someone else in the post’s comment section wrote that they’re always going to judge people who drink or drive, Anna once again replied.
“Good & are you getting anything out of judging me?” she wrote. “Have you judge[d] everyone else that has done the same? Judge others that make wrong decisions and include me. I’m sure you have not made a wrong decision right? You’re perfect?”
Anna replied to other comments on @CornyGossip‘s post about her.
“I’m no longer on Anna’s side,” one person wrote.
“Never asked for anyone to be on my side,” Anna replied. “I have my people that’s all I need. :)”
When the same creator made another video (this time about Anna’s comments on TikTok about her arrest), and stated that she feels Anna is not taking accountability for what she allegedly did, Anna had more to say. She responded to a person who disagreed with the creator who said Anna wasn’t taking accountability.
“THIS,” Anna responded. “No one said I am not taking accountability.”
Anna also responded to a comment that stated that a “child making bad decisions” does not excuse the fact that her parents were abusive.
“THANK YOU!” Anna wrote.
As The Ashley told you, Anna bonded out of jail one day after her arrest after paying her $1563 bond. A court date for the case has not yet been set from what The Ashley can tell.
Trent and Amber (and Anna’s estranged sister Liz) have all remained silent (so far) about Anna’s arrest.
