Savannah Chrisley Is Already Married to Jason Galanis; His Brother Warns Savannah That Jason’s Conning Her

“His brother did time in PRISON– you can’t trust anything someone like that says! Oh…wait.”

Savannah Chrisley is already married to her baby daddy Jason Galanis— and now her new brother-in-law is warning her that the man she married is conning her!

One day after Savannah announced that she is pregnant and ‘engaged’ to Jason, People has discovered that Savannah and Jason are already hitched— and have been for some time. The ‘Chrisley Knows Best’ star reportedly secretly married Jason in the Cayman Islands back in July and has been trying to keep the wedding (and the identity of Jason) a secret since then.

According to People, Savannah and Jason (who, as The Ashley told you, is only one year younger than Savannah’s dad Todd and spent time in prison with him) got married on Tuesday, July 14, at Cayman Islands Baptist Church. The wedding came only five months after the couple began dating, and Savannah was already pregnant at the time they said “I do.”

“In other words, I got knocked up!”

(Savannah has revealed that she found out she was pregnant while on vacation in Turkey, a trip that happened in late May, according to her Instagram posts.)

Savannah has stated on her podcast that she and Jason are still planning a wedding for 2027.

One person who probably won’t be invited the nuptials is Jason’s brother Derek who, on Thursday, did an interview with Page Six to warn Savannah that Jason is allegedly still the same con artist he has always been.

(As The Ashley reported, Jason was already serving an 11-year sentence for conspiracy to commit fraud when a U.S. District Judge added an extra five years because Jason defrauded Native Americans with a 2017 bond-issuing scam. He served time with Todd at FPC Pensacola before President Trump commuted Jason’s prison sentence in March 2025. Two months later, President Trump commuted Todd and his wife Julie’s sentenced and they were released from prison.)

Derek called Jason marrying and knocking up Savannah his “biggest con yet.”

“Meet my felon….er…fiancé!”

“He’s not a changed man, he’s the same dude he always was,” Derek told the site.

Derek insisted that life will be hard for Savannah.

“This girl’s in for a rocky ride,” he stated.

Derek is the author of Greed and Fear: The Galanis Crime Family, a book about their father John Peter Galanis’ white collar crime empire. Derek, along with Jason, was convicted in relation to the family’s schemes and sentenced to prison. According to Derek, he last spoke to Jason in 2016, while they were both in prison in New York together.

On Friday, Derek did an interview with TMZ and had more to say about his brother.

“It’s public record that my brother’s a conman and a career criminal and that’s what he does,” Derek said. “And because of his very comely looks, he’s more effective even on females than he is on males. But Jason has been conning people his whole life. My father taught him how… this is just the latest incarnation.”

Derek stated that, while Jason may be trying to get fame or political connections from Savannah, the most-important thing to Jason is money.

“And now he’s in a multi-million dollar house in Tennessee and he rolls on, as he’s always done,” Derek said of the home Jason shares with Savannah.

He then stated that he protected Jason in prison, but that loyalty was not reciprocated.

“And I guarantee there’s going to be no loyalty reciprocated in their relationship either,” Derek said, adding that he doesn’t feel it is his place to reach out to Savannah directly to tell her about Jason.

“Savannah knows the whole story and what Jason is doing right now is he’s spin-doctoring,” Derek claimed. “…none of those things [he’s probably telling her] are true.

“…Jason certainly takes advantage of the situations put in front of him,” he added. “…the fact that he’s now marrying a reality TV star with a lot of money, tells me he’s the same person [he’s always been].”

Jason and Savannah have not yet commented on Derek’s statements.

“My wicked sister Lindsie probably paid him to tell lies about Jason!”

Savannah’s dad Todd did, however, give his thoughts on their relationship. He admitted that he wasn’t thrilled to hear that Savannah was involved with a much-older career criminal.

“He is older, he’s 20 years older. It was not something that I embraced… to the point where I had a choice to make, either embrace my daughter’s decision or lose my daughter,” Todd said on Bunnie Xo’s podcast this week.

“Nothing is ever coming between me and my daughter. I love Savannah with my heart and soul, but did I advocate for this? No,” he continued.

“And to think, I used to think that her cutting her hair off was the most-stressful thing she ever put me through!”

Unlike Derek, Todd seems to believe that Jason has turned over a new leaf since his prison and scheming days.

“I will tell you that he has treated her with the utmost of respect,” Todd said of Jason. “He has never had children. He’s divorced for many years, went through a very difficult time in his life, and that’s their story to tell.”

Todd stated that he knew Savannah was going to be with Jason, even if her parents weren’t happy about it.

“No matter how much she respects me and respects her mother, when your heart wants what your heart wants, if you have been raised by parents that have made you feel safe and secure and loved, you know you can kinda stretch that to get to where you need to get to, because you know we’re your safe landing,” he said. “If it ended tomorrow, it’s already been a blessing, because my daughter knows how she’s supposed to be treated.”

He implied that Savannah has been getting a lot of flak for getting knocked up before being married, but made it clear that he is very excited to have another grandchild.

“Raise your hand if you think this baby should call me GLAMpa!?”

“Do we know everything? Yes, we’re her parents. Do we celebrate her and her announcement today? We do,” Todd said. “I’m tickled to death and can’t hardly wait to get my grandbaby.”

Stay tuned…
