Teen Mom stars Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra made the official announcement last week that Catelynn is four months pregnant, and now it appears that they have some more big news to share! The couple, who were planning to get married last year before a stint on Couples Therapy made them realize they weren’t ready to wed, may be hearing wedding bells ring sooner than we thought!
According to In Touch Weekly, Catelynn and Tyler have rescheduled their wedding! The couple will welcome their second child in early 2015. (Their first child, now five, was placed for adoption in 2009.) After the baby is born, Catelynn and Tyler will say “I do!” according to the magazine.
“They’ve rescheduled the wedding for next spring, after the baby comes,” a source told In Touch. (Radar Online picked up the story somehow before the magazine could post it.)
Catelynn and Tyler have been together since middle school and, although they postponed their wedding last year, remained engaged. The magazine did not reveal the actual date of the rescheduled wedding, just that there is a wedding planned and in the works.
As The Ashley told you last week, Catelynn and Tyler, along with their ‘Teen Mom’ co-stars Amber Portwood and Maci Bookout, are in the middle of filming a new season of ‘Teen Mom.’ (MTV confirmed it today through Us Weekly— but The Ashley told you way before!) It is unknown whether Cate and Ty’s wedding will be filmed for the show. According to the magazine, they felt pressure to wed on TV last time around.
“They said they’d been pressured by producers and their managers . . . to get married on TV,” the insider told the magazine.
We also don’t know whether or not we will get to see Catelynn give birth to their second child on-air. Her pregnancy, however, will be shown on the new season, she recently told Us Weekly.
“I feel like documenting this pregnancy is totally different, because now it’s our time to be parents,” she said.
The Ashley will keep you posted on any wedding updates that come along!
