“I can tell you one name we are NOT considering: Adam!”

Chelsea Houska is preparing to give birth to her second child in February, but the Teen Mom 2 star couldn’t wait any longer to announce the gender of her unborn baby! On Sunday, Chelsea and her husband Cole DeBoer announced to their social media followers that they are having a baby boy!

“It’s aaaaaa….BOY!” Chelsea wrote on Instagram in the caption of an adorable photo. “Can’t wait to add a little man to our crazy crew!”

In a series of adorable family photos posted to Chelsea’s website, she, Cole and her daughter Aubree pose with a clothesline full of little boy’s clothing.

“Introducing the most amazing man on the planet,” Cole captioned one photo. “Our little sweetie…”

Chelsea, who is almost 26 weeks pregnant, took to her website to reveal more details about her baby boy, as well as more family photos.

“We are so excited to be adding a little guy to our family!” she wrote. “His little closet is already filling up with plaid.”

She also wrote of how excited Cole is to welcome his first child.

“Cole is the proudest man I have ever seen, and cannot wait to have his son,” she wrote. “He’s already planning his future hunting and fishing trips, haha!”

Chelsea and Cole have not yet revealed what they plan to name their baby boy, but Chelsea’s pregnancy will surely be covered in the upcoming season of ‘Teen Mom 2,’ which is currently being filmed.

  1. Chelsea is most definitely NOT and only child, she has 3 older sisters! Her sister’s daughter Braylee has even been on TM2.
I think at least one of them has a boy.

      1. Chelsea has three sisters (Angie, Melissa, and Emily). I know at least one of them has a daughter, so I’m curious if Chelsea’s son will be the first boy in the family.

    1. Who said it was for no reason? As long as they are respecting the animal, using the meat, skin, etc then there’s nothing wrong with hunting. They’ve given us no reason to assume he’s an irresponsible hunter. I highly doubt he’s just shooting animals and leaving their bodies to decay in the woods.

The more venison and fish they eat the less they depend on the incredibly corrupt meat industry. I say all this as a vegetarian.

  2. To be specific, she announced the child’s sex. In opposite to ‘gender’, which is a social construct, ‘sex’ defines the biological difference between men and women. As we can’t know whether Chelsea’s kid will identify as male or female, we only know it’s sex, but not it’s gender.

    1. Yes, you’re very clever. *pats on head*
The way ‘sex’ is typically used in non-clinical settings would have most of us interpreting an invitation to a “*Sex* reveal party” to mean that one of our MLM friends had branched out from Pampered Chef and Lularoe (yes, I’m sure they’re ‘buttery soft’ but it’s a moot point as I don’t wear leggings) and is launching the new Secret Romance line.
And the kid is going to be wearing those clothes as a newborn regardless of later identification.
Hell, if the ultrasound was misleading and it’s a girl (‘female infant’, if you prefer) I’s see nothing wrong with putting her in them. Plaid collared shirt onesies are a delight regardless.

  3. At least 1 teen mom franchise girl seems to have her life together! Happy for them! VERY cute picture as well.

  4. I had a feeling it was going to be a boy….congrats to them! Can’t wait to find out what they’re gonna name him
