Get out the duck phone and call the cabs because the cast of Jersey Shore may be returning for a reunion!
Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino recently revealed that he and the ‘JS’ crew may be getting their gym, tan, laundry on once again.
“Who knows? It could quite possibly be in the process,” Mike, who is currently starring on Marriage Boot Camp Reality Stars: Family Edition recently told E! News. “I believe that it’s more than rumors.”
Mike said he has already gotten a call asking if he would be willing to take part in the reunion.
“I’m said I’m ready,” Mike said, adding that he doesn’t know exactly what’s going down, but that he’s on board for any type of reunion with his old MTV pals. (It’s safe to say that with all of his legal issues, he could probably use the cash!)
Mike’s co-star on the show, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, has been busy running her businesses and has made no mention of the reunion on her social media accounts yet. While she may or may not be willing to pack her stuffed alligator and leopard slippers for a ‘Jersey Shore’ reunion, she did recently end her long-standing feud with Mike. (The former roommates famously had a falling out years ago when Mike accused Nicole of cheating on her now-husband, Jionni LaValle.)
Apparently, though, that drama is all behind them. Mike spoke to Life & Style about the feud and subsequent reconciliation.
“There was definitely a period of time where there was resentment, most likely on her side. On my side, I was willing to let bygones be bygones,” he said. “We’re on a reality show, stuff happens. This is kind of what we’re supposed to do. At the end of the day, I’ve got nothing but love for her.”
Mike said the reconciliation began when Nicole called to invite him to the 30th birthday party of their ‘Jersey Shore’ co-star, Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola in March. Speaking of Sammi, she’s been busy tweeting pictures of her with her boo and promoting the podcasts she’s been on, but has also made no mention of a reunion.
There’s at least one other ‘Jersey Shore’ cast member who has stated that he would be love to participate in a reunion: Vinny Guadagnino.
“I’m down for a lot,” he told Life & Style. “As long as it’s entertaining, as long as it’s funny. There are some things in life that are like, no I’m not gonna do that if it doesn’t fit me, but of course I would love to; whatever entertains people.”
If the old gang does get back together, don’t expect them to be partying at Club Karma like they used to. Nicole has spoken out in the past about her decision to quit drinking, and Mike recently revealed that he is 18 months sober after having a relapse on prescription pills.
