BREAKING! ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Season 4 Filming Suspended Due to ‘Misconduct’

“What the hell, guys?”

There is major trouble in ‘Paradise!’

Just days after production of the fourth season of Bachelor in Paradise began in Mexico, the filming has come to a screeching halt, due to allegations of ‘misconduct.’ E! News broke the news on Sunday that all filming of the ‘Bachelor’ spin-off has been suspended, and Warner Bros. confirmed the news in a statement.

“We have become aware of allegations of misconduct on the set of ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ in Mexico,” the statement reads. “We have suspended production and we are conducting a thorough investigation of these allegations. Once the investigation is complete, we will take appropriate responsive action.”

‘Bachelor’ guru Reality Steve responded to the news on his Twitter account, stating that all of the cast members who were in Mexico filming have been flown back to Houston. (He even posted a photo of most of the cast at the airport.)

It is not yet known what sort of ‘misconduct’ caused the filming to be shut down.

“What I’m hearing isn’t good, but don’t know exact details,” Reality Steve tweeted.

UPDATE! Reality Steve is spilling more details about the shut-down.

“From I’ve been told, the show has been cancelled,” Steve just tweeted. “They’re done. Everyone’s being sent home.”

Although Steve didn’t go into specific details about what ‘misconduct’ caused the shut-down, he did offer a few tidbits of info on Twitter.

DeMario [Jackson] & Corinne [Olympios] are the contestants in question. Details are still sketchy, but this is not a good situation,” Steve tweeted. “I’m not at liberty to throw accusations out. But yeah, drinking, sex, cameras, etc. You get the picture. This is a real shi**y situation to be honest. I don’t know enough details to speculate. Just know it involves DeMario & Corinne.”

He later added, “I know you’re immediately thinking the worst. I honestly don’t think it’s that. At least not what I heard…From what I was told, no one involved was hurt. Production had to stop, the show is basically cancelled and there’s an investigation going on.”

UPDATE #2: Reality Steve pointed his fans to the Twitter account of LA Times writer Amy Kaufman (who is currently writing a book about ‘The Bachelor’) to get more info on what happened.

“On the first day of production, Sunday, DeMario and Corinne got extremely drunk, per my source,” Amy tweeted. “Corinne came up to DeMario at the bar and kissed him. They proceeded to the pool, where they got naked. From this point forward, things turned into “soft core p0rn.” They did not have sex. But it was very raunchy.

“The following day, Monday, a producer who witnessed this hook-up did not show up to work. According to my source, this producer went on to sue the production for misconduct over what she witnessed between DeMario and Corinne. DeMario and Corinne were both shown footage of their hookup during their interviews in the days following their rendezvous. My source was told a producer filed a “third party complaint,” to clarify my above comment.”

  1. Does this mean I can sue channels when I have seen something disgusting when I was flipping channels? My remote or TV modem isn’t working properly lately and sometimes I can’t change channels. The things I could be exposed to.

On a serious note: nobody should be forced by an employer to watch soft porn. When she could not walk out because she was the producer or forbidden to do so, when she was forbidden to interfere while they were both to drunk to consent, good for her to sue them.
We could all do with much less sex on TV too.
Im in season 4 of GOT and I’m getting so annoyed that it evolves so much around flat sex that Im loosing intrest in the story.

  2. I don’t understand why that was enough to halt production. Another website has a fairly graphic account from DeMario which collaborates what you say here – basically they did everything except “the deed” because he was too drunk to perform. My question – why is this different than other things we’ve seen on TV? You know they weren’t going to show too much, so why would it shut down production? This other site claims that they “have heard” differing stories – would love to know if/when The Ashley finds out more because I trust you more as a source. It just seems like there’s more.

    1. Apparently she was too drunk to consent (that’s what I read on another site) but if he was too drunk to “perform” then arguably neither could consent… I’m not condoning sexual assault but this sounds more like two drunk adults who upset a producer. Definitely need more info – especially since he is basically being branded a sex offender on every other site that I’ve read.

      1. I just saw what you saw. It sounds like you are right in your assessment. The producer “heard from others” that Corinne was so drunk that she “couldn’t possibly” know what was going on. Sounds like heresay, especially since others said Corinne was “fully engaged.” I think it was the producer overreacting, from what we know thus far. I double down on what you said about sexual assault is NEVER okay, but is it also unfair to automatically brand someone a sexual offender, especially when it is a third party claiming the assault.

      2. I was thinking the same thing. If he was in no state to perform, then he, too, was unable to consent.
I feel like there is a piece of this story that is missing. Not trying to be rude, but the way this story is currently being told doesn’t sound too much different than basically every other season of this show.

  3. This makes no sense. Why would a producer be offended by seeing something like that? That is what this whole show is people half naked/naked bumping and grinding. There has to be something else going on.

But I am sad:( Bachelor in Paradise is my favorite show of the series so I hope they can get it sorted out and resume production even if they have to replace a few cast members.

  4. I sincerely hope Corinne wasn’t raped. I do wonder if the public will get the full truth. If she was raped (God forbid), she might be sold into silence by the network so it doesn’t look bad that it was just one specific producer out of many on a huge cash cow of a franchise.

  5. How is any of this “misconduct” we’ve literally seen footage of people actually doing the deed and ABC just puts a little black box over it… it’s a reality dating show. Obviously people are going to hookup.
Didn’t Joe & some girl hook up in the pool / hot tub a few seasons back? Why is this any different?

  6. This producer sounds dumb. Who takes a job on Bachelor in Paradise thinking everyone is going to behave and keep it PG? Hopefully we get to hear more of the story…

  7. Leave it up to Corrine and DeMario to ruin the show for the rest of the contestants and fans. I don’t know why they needed Corrine on the show in the first place. They wanted the drama and now it’s biting them in the ass. The show would of been fine without them on it.
