‘Sister Wives’ Is Coming Back! Watch a Sneak Peek of the New Season

“If you thought my hair was bad last season…you clearly haven’t seen ANYTHING yet!”

For months, Sister Wives fans have wondered if they would ever see Kody Brown‘s mug on their TV screens again! TLC and the Brown Family had been uncharacteristically silent on when (or if) the show would return for another season, causing some fans to assume ‘Sister Wives’ had been cancelled.

On Thursday, TLC revealed that the show would, indeed, be back for another season! That’s right– Kody and his plethora of (usually unhappy) wives will be gracing our screens again this January.

In a sneak peek clip of the upcoming season, we see the wedding of Brown daughter Mykelti (who got hitched back in December 2016), as well as Mariah Brown‘s announcement that she has a girlfriend. Other milestones that will be covered in the upcoming season include Madison Brown‘s pregnancy, Meri Brown‘s plans to open a bed and breakfast in Utah, and Kody rejecting Meri’s suggestion that they reconnect in their marriage.

We will also get up close and personal with Madison as she prepares to deliver the first Brown Family grandchild…in the bathtub…with TLC cameras right in her face.

‘Sister Wives’ returns to TLC on Sunday, January 7.

  1. Anytime I’d watch this show, I felt sadness and depression setting in. Everyone looks so miserable and kody is so annoying. Crazy it gets being picked up again and again.

  2. Maddie giving birth in the tub on the promo ? You go girl! She was handling it like a champ! Brave girl for your first baby!

    1. I don’t think their religion means this kind of reconciliation, after getting involved so deep with another person.

  3. I like this trash far more than I care to admit. Also, I keep waiting for the day Meri and/or Janelle run away.

    1. I haven’t watched in years, but Janelle always seemed way too smart and hard working for this mess. And I believe she left once before. Meri always seemed brainwashed into thinking she wanted this life, even helping pick the new wives, when it clearly makes her misreable. Kody is no different to me than a married man juggling girlfriends on the side while still hanging out with his ex-wife.
