Mykelti Brown and husband Tony Padron are adding two little ones to their family this year, as the Sister Wives couple has announced they are expecting twins.
Mykelti, daughter of Kody and Christine Brown, shared the news this week on social media, telling followers their little ones are due in December.
“Tony and I definitely weren’t planning this or expecting it but we’re both excited for our upcoming adventure and all the chaos and love it brings,” she wrote on Instagram.
The Padron twins will join one-year-old Avalon Asa, who was born in April 2021.
Although Mykelti and Tony are excited for their new arrivals, the parents told People they are “nervous as well.”
” … especially for the first 18 months of their lives, but it will be a wonderful adventure,” Mykelti said.
“I’m excited about having double the trouble and double the fun,” Tony added.
Mykelti and Tony’s twins will be Kody’s fourth and fifth grandchildren. The Brown family patriarch has yet to comment on his daughter and son-in-law’s big news.
(Maybe he’s currently breaking out his trusty poster board and preparing to present a list of possible baby names such as Kodison, Kodifer, Kodert and Koderly?)
Meanwhile, Kody’s ex-wife Christine is “so excited” about the twins and ready to step up to lend a hand once they arrive.
“I know they’re a bit overwhelmed because it’s twins, it’s a lot of work but I live close, [Mykelti’s sister] Aspyn lives close,” she told People. “She’s got such an amazing support system, we’re all so excited. They’ve been incredible parents with Avalon and now we get to see them be parents again!”
Christine also shared her excitement on social media along with a photo of big-sister-to-be Avalon.
“Mykelti is having TWINS!!” Christine wrote on Instagram. “We’re so excited! It’s incredible being an Oma and now we’ll have TWO MORE!”
While Mykelti opted for a home delivery for baby Avalon, she has not revealed whether she plans to do the same this time around.

Why do people who have unprotected sex, get so shocked when they end up pregnant? It’s common sense that having sex without protection can lead to pregnancy.
I think they’re shocked about the fact that it’s twins, not the fact she’s pregnant.
