Caitlyn Jenner Edited Out of Son Brandon Jenner’s New Reality Show After Threatening to Take Legal Action Against Network

“It’s a no for me, Brando.”

Caitlyn Jenner has appeared on multiple reality TV shows over the years, but she won’t be adding At Home with The Jenners to the list.

The new series coming to UnchainedTV will follow Caitlyn’s son Brandon Jenner and Brandon’s wife, Cayley. While Brandon told The Sun earlier this month that Caitlyn will “for sure” make an appearance, Caitlyn has stepped in to prevent that from happening.

According to TMZ, despite Caitlyn being on-camera during a family dinner scene, she wasn’t aware that she was going to be part of Brandon’s show and wasn’t happy when her son seemingly confirmed otherwise as he was promoting the upcoming series, which is reportedly three episodes into production.

(Also filmed during the family dinner scene was David Foster, musician and former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills husband, who was married to Brandon’s mother, Linda Thompson, from 1991 to 2005. Caitlyn was married to Linda from 1981 to 1986; the exes share sons Brandon and Brody Jenner.)

After learning that she was slated to appear in her son’s reality series, Caitlyn allegedly had her attorney reach out to the show’s production company and threaten to take legal action if she wasn’t edited out of the show. Sources told the outlet that Caitlyn has since been scrubbed from all future appearances on ‘At Home with The Jenners’ and has been cut from the scenes that were already filmed.

The former Olympian’s decision to not partake in her son’s reality series is reportedly motivated by the fact that she is in the middle of contract renewals with FOX and wants to continue working with the network–- especially with the 2024 Olympics and presidential election coming up. Appearing on a reality series that airs on a different network could be considered a breach of her FOX contract.

Caitlyn–- who also shares daughters Kendall and Kylie Jenner with ex-wife Kris Jenner, and children Burt and Casey Jenner with ex-wife Chrystie Crownover–- has wished Brandon the best on his upcoming series, though she was reportedly angry over how “recklessly” things have been handled while getting the series picked up.

Brandon and Caitlyn are “really close” today, according to Brandon’s wife, though Brandon has spoken publicly in the past about his relationship with Caitlyn being rocky.

“It’s really nice. Brandon and Caitlyn are really close and have become, I think, closer over the years,” Cayley told The Sun last week. “It’s beautiful to see.”

While viewers won’t see Caitlyn on the upcoming series, Brandon has confirmed that his mom, brother and brother’s fiancée, Tia Blanco, will make an appearance.

“Anybody that’s a part of our lives would be [on it],” he said, noting that his younger sisters, Kendall and Kylie, were not asked to be a part of the project.

“We haven’t asked,” he said. “This has just been our thing for now.”

  1. Caitlin is an awful person. Not for this (this is just dumb…did Caitlin not see the cameras?) but because she supports fascism and fascists and doesn’t think others deserve the privileges she has. Like the right to even be called she when born male. She is safe because of her wealth and is sheltered from what it’s like to be an average trans person so she doesn’t care about their rights. I find it hard to believe ex-wife Linda is a fascist but now I am wondering about Brandon.

  2. So she showed up to dinner, saw all the cameras and crew, they were pointing cameras at them and holding a boom mike or wiring them with mike packs, but she didn’t know that she was being filmed?

    1. I mean, she’s never, ever been on TV before so she just didn’t understand. 🙄 Or she’s been on TV since the 1970s and is full of it 😂
