Kail Lowry Warns Fans About Plastic Surgery After Recently Undergoing Three Cosmetic Procedures; Admits to Having Body Dysmorphia

“I wish the surgeon could have removed some excess baby daddies too, while he was at it!”

After going under the plastic surgeon’s knife multiple times— most recently last month— Kail Lowry is reflecting on her choices and telling her fans to “think twice” before they consider cosmetic surgery to achieve a thin body.

Kail— who recently underwent a breast reduction, as well as Lipo 360 and her second tummy tuck— is no stranger to plastic surgery. In 2016, the former Teen Mom 2 star infamously underwent a tummy tuck, Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) and Lipo360 by Dr. Miami while live on Snapchat. (Kail’s future nemesis Briana DeJesus and her sister Brittany also participated in the carve-a-thon that day.) Kail has had at least one other breast surgery and other minor procedures as well.

While Kail had been looking forward to her breast reduction, her feelings on plastic surgery have seemingly changed. In a emotionally charged video posted to social on Monday, the mother of seven tearfully stated that she feels she has gone past the point of what she considers normal in her quest to be “skinny.”

“I just pray that my kids never struggle with their body images enough to mutilate their bodies to be skinny,” Kail said as she put on her makeup. “I think a little nip and tuck in terms of a nose job or a boob job is OK. But to go through this to be skinny is mental illness, truly. And I say that with the most respect to anyone going through it.”

Kail has her Dr. Miami “Mommy Makeover” in 2016, but went on to have five more kids afterward. (Shortly after she gave birth to twins Valley and Verse, Kail admitted on her Barely Famous podcast that she regrets letting Dr. Miami inflate her rear end with a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) back in 2016, and that wants to get the procedure reversed. She also stated that she regrets getting her first “Mommy Makeover” before she was done having kids.)

Kail stated that she may be “struggling this time around” after getting plastic surgery, and that she realizes that she has some level of “body dysmorphia.”

She added that she had initially only wanted to get a breast reduction, but decided last minute to add several procedures to help herself slim down.

“I was like, ‘You know what, I should just add some Lipo 360, add some tummy tuck in,” she said.

Kail stated that her drive to be smaller led her to do things she wasn’t happy about, including missing Christmas with her family.

“I was basically willing to go to any length and do this over Christmas break to be skinny, even if it meant that [my fiancé] Elijah [Scott] couldn’t be there for me,” she said. “Even if it meant that I was in another state for Christmas … I was willing to go to any freaking length for it. And I don’t think that’s something people talk about, right?”

Kail said she felt bad for putting Elijah– whom she shares three kids with— “through all of this.”

“I was told to sit here in my elf hat and stay quiet, and that’s what I’m doing!”

“This is crazy, truly,” she said, before advising her fans, “think once, think twice before you get plastic surgery.”

During an episode of her Barely Famous podcast in May, Kail revealed that she had been told by doctors that she was not able to get another boob job, until she lost weight, something she called “extremely humbling.”

“I wanna get a boob job, right?” she said at the time. “So I call around, I’m like making these consultations to get a boob job. You know what they told me? They told me I need to lose 40 pounds, ok? So, 40 or 50 pounds– more like 50, but maybe I could get away with 40 pounds– before they can even operate on me. So that was extremely humbling.”

Over the years, Kail has publicly stated that she’s considered getting gastric bypass, a nose job and other cosmetic procedures in the past as well.

Raise your hand if you’re about to throw your two cents in— and no one asked for…

Kail’s third baby daddy, Chris Lopez (naturally) had something to say about Kail’s emotional video. On Tuesday, Chris— who never misses a chance to call out Kail— took to Instagram Stories to post a message that was obviously aimed at his baby mama.

“When you are just a ugly person not only inside and out but when your soul is ugly too no amount of makeup or surgery will ever change that,” Chris wrote.

  1. I absolutely cannot picture her being soothing, caring, compassionate, loving, or gentle with any of her children. She constantly barks sarcasm at them, in between wailing in front of them about whatever drama she has going on (that was caused by her attitude towards others, and her controlling behavior). She has had “a falling out” with nearly every single person in her life at one time or another. When her kids are old enough, I expect her to have “a falling out” with each of them as well.

  2. instead of working towards making changes to be healthier and lose the weight in a normal way, she chooses what she thinks is the quick easy fix, but because she doesn’t change her lifestyle, she goes back to where she was, and then has surgery again. She needs to realise surgery isn’t going to fix the problem until she changes her lifestyle and maintains the work she’s had done by eating better and exercising. The only surgery that may help her in the long run would be getting a gastric sleeve. But that also takes work as if you push it you can stretch out your stomach again

    1. And a huge part of her “lifestyle” is being constantly pregnant or postpartum. It can take a woman’s body up to 2 years to even get its organs and muscles back into the place they were, let alone to lose all the weight and gain back strength—especially in the case of c-sections!

And it can take a long time for her hormones to get back to “normal” after a pregnancy, and those hormones could be affecting everything from hunger cues, emotional exhaustion cues, guilt/negative self-talk….

So like not only is she not eating well and rarely exercising….shes been pregnant/postpartum for like 16 years!

Why the heck do we think Jane Austen characters who are like 34 but have had multiple children, are described as “soft,” “rotund,” “florid,” physically, but also “nervous,” “anxious,” “taken to fits of hysteria frequently”? Because a 35 year old mother of 7 (or however many she has now), is no where near going to have the body and hormonal composition of a 20 year old woman who has had no pregnancies!

Even, in “modern times,” how many of us had consistently skinny, fit, and snatched grandmothers, mothers, and aunties?

But I think she’s comparing herself to people like the Kardashians who have multiple kids with horrible people, and then spend ALL THE MONEY on a combo of extremely strict diets, exercise plans, and some plastic surgery to top it off….and Kail wants to know why she doesn’t always look like a Kardashian. She skips the diet, exercise, and extreme control of her image via photo shop, body-tune, the lighting and angles under which a professional photographer may photograph them, and an insane amount of shape wear and/or full-body-and-face contouring with makeup.

      1. 👏👏👏👏

Loved the comment “ how many of us had consistently skinny, fit, and snatched grandmothers, mothers, and aunties?” 🤣🤣. I know a tiny handful – they watch what they eat like a hawk and hit the gym on the reg like one super-fit grandma I know or get other forms of frequent exercise like my husband’s aunt in her 70’s who walks several miles a day and still looks fabulous.

And yes, the Kardashians spend waaaay more money than Kail will ever have on their body, personal trainers, chefs to prepare healthy meals plus carefully crafting their photos and overall public image. As hard as they try, none of the TM gals are Kardashians / Jenners (whom I despise for several reasons).

  3. Kail is just mad because she didn’t do the upkeep and maintenance SHE needed to participate in to KEEP the weight off. You KNOW she wouldn’t be complaining and wouldn’t have “body dysmorphia” had she stayed the same as the surgery left her… To echo so many of you, God Forbid she work out or do anything to lose the weight the way she should have to begin with! Just another excuse and using Body Dysmorphia in an attempt for people to feel sorry for her.

  4. You know she will be out there Flaunting her new body for all to see. She has 7 kids to take care of but she is still #1. Always looking for sympathy, poor me, poor me. She has money to do this then bitch about how “hard” it is. She will be out in a bikini showing it all off and saying see after 7 kids, I cab look like this.

  5. Serious question, has she spent any time with her youngest? It seems she was away so much with Disney, the trip with Lincoln, the surgery, and I’m sure a few more thrown in. These kids are super young. I wonder if she actually bonded with them.

  6. From what I remember on her old episodes she was never the small girl, she seemed tall and her body looked like the appropriate size for that. It started looking awkward with the bbl and fillers. Unfortunately that was in at the time. It makes your body look awkward. I don’t think she can look normal again unless there is something to do to fix those and stop putting in fillers. I think a lot of people have body dysmorphia but some take it to lengths where you can’t go back to correct what failed you. I am not going as far as others and call her ugly, I don’t think she is. She did mess with her natural looks though, so she looks older than she should. All that I hope for is a nornal kail who can take care of her kids normally.

But also like the plastic surgeries, online videos are in, social media is high and they are addicted to that as well. She has everything she needs, besides a stable life for her kids, but she has the shelter and food for all of them. She just needs to relax and get back on track how normal people live.

  7. Yeah surgery and lipo is the way to go……. God forbid you’d exercise and eat healthily. Why is morbid obesity so accepted in america?

  8. If she doesn’t want her kids to struggle with their body image she needs to stop with all these surgeries, fillers and other crap. Kids do as you do.

  9. Man! Kail was such a beaut, I truly thought she was the most beautiful of all the teen moms, both OG and 2. She didn’t need any surgery and I still don’t think she does. She needs to reach deep inside and face the root cause, not slap a label on it. Kail, if you’re reading this.. it’s mommy issues. Start there and get better !! ♥️♥️

  10. Kail talks out of both sides of her mouth. She was mad that the first plastic surgeon she went to wanted her to lose 40-50 lbs prior to surgery. Which is smart because she can have all the tummy tucks and breast reductions that she wants but if she keeps shoveling the wrong foods in her mouth the surgeries will fail. Yet she didn’t want to actually eat right and lose weight. But she’s warning people not to do what she did multiple times now. She found a surgeon who did the surgeries without any weight loss because the surgeon wanted the money.

    1. Yes!
She refuses to change her lifestyle of Starbucks and processed food, lack of exercise.

She could have spent the last 6 months walking, eating right and eating less, drinking way more water and got close to the result the (ethical) doctor was asking for.

Kails quest to be the “baddest b on campus” is neverending. 7 kids, 4 baby daddies and well over 30, that’s a dream she needs to let go.

  11. She’s lazy af, makes the choice not to move her body or eat right. Of course she’s going to be bigger. Lazy.

    1. I know it’s Kail and most people will not be so kind. If she truly has BDD, that’s very sad. My mom has it and she got down to 82lbs. She abused laxatives and stimulants. She also starved herself. It’s no joke.

      1. Hmm.
I think this vanity angle is just another distraction from truly fixing herself.
First it’s the men and all these kids, now that that’s allegedly done, it’s time to focus on some other obsession. New houses, multiple podcasts.. whatever she can do to avoid the real problem.

      2. i agree. i think what chris said is unnecessarily mean and kicking someone when they’re down – she’s already admitting she has a problem. i’m not a kail fan by any means, but people are so critical of women’s bodies it makes me sick. let a girl live!
