Spencer Pratt is coming out swinging at his “pals” in the entertainment industry who he feels are not supporting his quest to get his wife Heidi Montag‘s 2010 music to the top of the music charts.
As The Ashley previously reported, the former star of The Hills has recently been campaigning to have songs from Heidi’s 2010 album Superficial played across social media and on the radio. Spencer began his quest to make Heidi’s songs go to Number 1 on the charts shortly after their home burned down on January 7 due to the California wildfires.
While most of Speidi’s former MTV co-stars— including Brody Jenner, Lo Bosworth, Audrina Patridge— as well as other celebs and influencers— have posted Heidi’s music to their social media to show support, Spencer is not happy with some of his other “friends” in the entertainment industry whom he feels are not supporting his efforts. Over the weekend, he called out Alex Cooper of the Call Her Daddy podcast, as well as Siesta Key star Juliette Porter on social media. (This comes just a few days after he publicly commented on Lauren Conrad‘s refusal to post Heidi’s music.)
Although Juliette had actually already used Heidi’s song in an Instagram post, Spencer apparently didn’t see it, causing him to launch a “threat” at the ‘Siesta Key’s star.
“Are you gonna post Heidi music or do I need to unfollow you?” Spencer wrote in the comment section of one of Juliette’s posts.
“Excuse me I have several times and ‘I’ll Do It’ is the song on my last post?” Juliette responded. (Heidi’s song “I’ll Do It” is, in fact, playing on Juliette’s post from four days ago.)
Juliette’s fans were not happy about Spencer’s attack on the ‘Siesta Key’ star.
“Jesus. The audacity to talk to ANYONE that way, especially while asking for a handout,” one person wrote.
Spencer also made a TikTok about the lack of support coming from Alex of Call Her Daddy. In the video posted on Sunday, Spencer showed the text conversation he had with Alex’s husband Matt, in which Spencer asks Matt to tell Alex to make a reel or video with Heidi’s music. The former MTV reality star claimed that Alex had been ignoring all of his requests that he had sent through private message, so he reached out to her husband.

In Matt’s text (which was posted by Spencer), he promised to ask Alex to help out, but Spencer claims she didn’t.
“You act like I don’t know everyone in this town!” Spencer yelled in his response video. “You guys really want to play with me? Right now, at this level?
During a TikTok Live interview with Bethenny Frankel Saturday, Spencer announced that he now has “beef” with Alex due to her non-effort.
“I asked [Alex] to post the song, and I texted her husband [Matt Kaplan] and I was like, ‘Hey, it would really help,'” Spencer told Bethenny. “I kept tagging her, messaging, and then she wrote to me, ‘We have a lot of people displaced at our house,’ and I’m like, ‘Post the song, girl.'”
“Respectfully, if I keep my platform, if I keep being an A-list, rich celebrity, she’s so f**ked, because I have beef with her now. Like she’s going to be targeted,” he added.
“You will be unwell when I’m done!” Spencer captioned a TikTok featuring Alex’s post. “Played the wrong one. Ask Matt.”
While some applauded Spencer’s tenacity, others criticized him for demanding that people do what he wants.
“I’m sure [Alex] had countless close friends and family she prioritized with her support. It’s not a favor when it becomes expected. You’ve been blessed with an amazing amount of support from so many,” one person wrote in the comment section of Spencer’s TikTok post about Alex.
“How is this her job though?” another person wrote. “I mean it’s the nice thing to do but no one owes us anything.”
Spencer responded to some of the comments left for him.
“Here’s how friendships work, Jon,” Spencer said on TikTok a few days ago, in response to a guy named Jon who commented that “no one owes you s**t.
“You support your friends, so it is surprising and shocking when your friends let you down,” Spencer continued. “One thing I’ve learned about life and friends is not to have expectations of people, even if they’re your close friends. Because you can be let down. But still, it happens and sometimes it hurts your feelings, Jon, because it doesn’t take much to hit play and stream something for people you’ve known all your life and you’ve done so much for … But you’re right. Nobody is obligated to do s**t, Jon.”

Spencer’s campaign to get Heidi’s music to the top of the charts is paying off, though (literally). In an interview with Variety published on Friday, ‘The Hills’ star admitted he’s made well over $20,000 from TikTok since he began his quest.
“I made, like, $4,000 on TikTok this week,” Spencer told Variety. “But on TikTok Live, where people can just give to me direct, I think maybe $20,000. So that’s phenomenal, and life-changing. That’s the power of individual supporters, people just backing you and getting behind you. And that’s the most powerful when you don’t have to rely on ads or AI and algorithms when just actual human beings just want to give. It’s unbelievable and incredible.”

For all the people who just want to throw their money away, donate it to people who really needed it. Like my family with 6 kids and twins on the way. My husband have lost his job and I am unable to work due to high risk pregnancy. We can barely afford car seats for our unborn children. Um, it seems to me, if you were an “A” list celebrity, you wouldn’t be threatening your “friends” for handouts because you didn’t have your ducks in a row. He’s showing everyone he has not changed whatsoever. And when you do anything for anyone- friends, family, fans- you do it because you WANT to and without any expectation. I heard Heidi & Spencer have desperately been trying to get a show & they’ve been turned down. They’re trying with Hulu and are hoping with the fires that they can get with them.
