It’s a girl for Kristen Doute and her fiancé Luke Broderick!
The stars of The Valley told Us Weekly that Kristen gave birth to their daughter on Wednesday, June 11.
“She’s here, and we still can’t believe it. Luke is even hotter as a dad, and I just feel so lucky,” Kristen told the magazine on Friday. “And even though I haven’t slept or showered in two days, seeing our daughter and finally being able to hold her makes it all worth it. We’re completely overwhelmed with love and so grateful for her— our lives are already changed completely.”
The couple gave the baby girl that name Kaia Lily.

Kristen and Luke told the magazine that they chose the name “Kaia” because it means “the sea” in Hawaiian, and they wanted to pay tribute to Hawaii, where they got engaged in September 2024.
“We knew we wanted our baby name to have something to do, or revolve around, water,” she said.
Kristen said that her baby’s middle name also has a special meaning to her.
“Lillies are my favorite flower. They’re associated with new beginnings, beauty, and also the name Lily indicates a ‘gentle and compassionate nature, suggesting a kind and caring personality,'” she said.
Kristen and Luke have not yet posted a photo of their daughter’s face; however, they released a photo of the baby’s hand on Friday.

The couple announced Kristen’s pregnancy back in November. At the time, they stated that they had been trying to conceive again, after Kristen suffered a miscarriage in 2023. Kristen stated that she and Luke met with a fertility specialist for “a little help” in her getting pregnant again.
“I knew my age could be a factor in conceiving, so Luke and I discussed going for an extra push, a little help,” Kristen— who is 42 years old— explained during an interview in November. “In late summer, we decided to meet with a fertility specialist to learn about our options and what could be the next step if we decided to go that route.”
Kristen underwent IUI (intrauterine insemination) and, two weeks afterward found out she was pregnant.
“I had to wait it out but in my heart I knew it had worked. I tested one day early and got the big PREGNANT result staring back at me,” she stated.
They announced in December that they were expecting a baby girl.
“Luke was made to be a girl dad,” Kristen told Us Weekly at the time.
Kristen and Luke aren’t the only stars of ‘The Valley’ to welcome a new baby this month. Their co-stars Nia Sanchez and Danny Booko welcomed their fourth child— a girl— last week.
