Podcaster Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia opened up on her (newly relaunched) PlanBri podcast over the weekend to breakdown her Social Forces: World’s Toughest Test experience, while revealing her honest opinion on costar Kody Brown, whom she previously revealed she did not get along with during filming.
On the podcast, Brianna did not hold back while talking about the Sister Wives star, telling her listeners that she didn’t know who Kody was when she first met him, and that she initially thought Kody was “mentally slow.”
“I felt bad for him, to be honest,” she said of when she first met Kody. “Like, you know when you feel bad for old people? I felt bad for him because I felt like he had no social cues.”
As fans are aware, Brianna and Kody are competing on Season 4 of ‘Special Forces’ along with 16 other reality stars, celebrities and athletes. On last week’s episode, viewers saw Kody (literally) laugh after learning that Brianna makes her living as a podcaster.
“What’s your gig, what do you do?” Kody asked Brianna during the episode, to which Bri responded that she’s a podcaster.
“That’s all, that’s your—that’s your qualification?” Kody stuttered before chuckling in front of an annoyed-looking Brianna.

However, Brianna has turned around and used said podcast to issue an unfiltered slam at the father of 18 in response.
Brianna began her podcast episode by telling listeners that when her manager first informed her that ‘Special Forces’ was interested in having her on the show, her manager planned to pass on the offer, assuming that Brianna wouldn’t want to do it.
“No one wants to go on ‘Special Forces’ and if they do, they’re insane– they’re Kody Brown,” she continued. “If they seek out ‘Special Forces,’ you’re f**king crazy and that’s someone like Kody Brown.”
Brianna went on to talk about the scene in which the failed polygamist diminished her “whole entire livelihood” after learning that she was a podcaster.
“ … He’s like, ‘That’s your qualification? That’s how you make your money?’” Brianna recalled. “Sir, how do you make your money? Berating women, being a narcissist on f**king a TV show? Is that how you make your money?”
Brianna said that while she should’ve asked Kody those questions during filming, she didn’t because she didn’t know who he was at the time.
“If I knew who Kody Brown was, I wouldn’t have been so nonchalant,” Brianna said. “I thought he was mentally slow to be honest.”
“I don’t feel bad for saying any of this after I know who he is and what he thinks about women and how he treated women,” she said. “And yeah, like, during the show I felt bad [for] being mean to him ’cause I’m like, he’s slow, you know what I mean? Like, you can’t be mean to someone that has special needs, that’s crazy.
“But he doesn’t have special needs, he’s just mentally f**ked,” she continued.
Briana went on to mention “all the s**t” she’s seen about Kody since the show wrapped, which has made her even less of a Kody fan.
“ … I hope I don’t have to ever see this man again,” she said. “ … This man is an insane f**king person and he treats women so badly, so poorly.”
When asked last month about the rumored feuds he had with some of his ’Special Forces’ castmates, Kody– who, at 56, was the oldest competitor on Season 4– said his age may have been to blame.
“I’m Gen X, man,” Kody told Entertainment Tonight. “It’s just a different culture and most of them were younger than my children or I was old enough to be their parent.”
Kody did go on to admit, however, that his “big mouth” may have gotten in his way during the competition, as some cast members interpreted him as “bossy” or “demanding.”

Kody is a narassist, I think everyone knows that now. I feel so bad for the women who got caught up in his web and then the kids.
Going on the show “Special Forces” I knew was going to be an eye opener to others on the team. He did not disappoint, ha! Ha! Lol!

I don’t care for Kody either but you have to understand one thing. He is a typical polygamist male that’s how they’re basically raised to be. Perhaps after therapy or have he been raised in a different environment he might’ve been normal. I think it’s more lack of self-esteem than anything else. He feels like a failure, and he overcompensates. But not everyone is totally evil. Everyone of us have some redeeming qualities and perhaps he comes came across wrong because he’s a take charge type of guy and his need to be accepted and to be looked up to causes him to act like an idiot. And to know that the whole world thinks you’re a horrible human being doesn’t help. Again, I do not care for him the way he acts or how he treated his children and his other wives but you have to remember in polygamy he is the norm not the exception.
He chose polygamy. He chose to have 4 wives and 18 children. He made those choices and then made the gawd awful choice to put himself, his wives and children on TV claiming love should me multiplied, not divided. He made those choices. The women were idiots to go along with it and place their kids in such a sick idea. Every polygamist who has gone public has showed how it just doesn’t work. Kody is a jackass for sure and frankly the only reason Robyn stays is for the house and the money. She is playing him big time and he is too stupid to see it.
It has nothing to do with Kody being Gen X and everything to do with Kody being a misogynistic, narcissistic asshole.
In short, Kody being Kody.
This, so much. Gen X’ers are great people in general, and Kootie is a poor example. He is a total narcissist and his sly, petty wife Sobbyn, just feeds into him thinking he’s so alpha and so great. Those of us that have watched him on Sister Wives, know all about his pig headed-ness and thinking he’s Gods gift to women. Shitty father and all-around dickhead.
