‘Teen Mom’ News Pile: Kail Lowry Epically Shades Jenelle Evans’ New Podcast; Tyler Baltierra Slams Way Adoptive Parents Raise Their Kids & More

This feud is burning hotter than a Pothead Hair Care press kit on The Land!

From throwing a zinger at your former co-star to throwing out your opinion on TikTok Live, it’s been a busy week for the stars/former stars of the “Teen Mom” franchise! In an effort to bring you up-to-date on the latest “Teen Mom” news, The Ashley brings you the Teen Mom News Pile.

Here are some of the major (and minor but interesting) ‘Teen Mom’-related things that happened over the last week or so…

Kail Lowry Subtly— But Brutally— Shades Jenelle Evans’ Upcoming New Podcast

It’s time for Round 200 of Pettyfest 2026!

Kail came out swinging this week, delivering the latest hit in her feud with former co-star (and current nemesis) Jenelle. Days after The Ashley announced that the name of Jenelle’s upcoming podcast will be The MILF Mindset, Jenelle released the podcast’s logo, which shows Jenelle— all suited up like Cowboy Cringe Barbie for some reason— pretending to be shocked at what she’s hearing on her phone (which is unplugged, natch.)

Kail— who has been feuding back and forth with the (alleged) MILF for weeks— offered her thoughts and, surprisingly, encouraged her listeners to tune into Jenelle’s podcast.

But, naturally— because this is Kail we’re talking about— that endorsement was not without a zinger thrown at Jenelle.

“Jenelle has announced her new podcast called The MILF Mindset,” Kail said with a straight face. “And I love helping the less-fortunate, so if you guys could go give her a follow on Spotify, Apple, wherever you get your podcast!”

“I’ve gotta hand it to you, Kail. That’s some ‘send-you-a-clownsuit’- level pettiness right there!”

When someone in the comments section of her Instagram post joked that they were “surprised” that Jenelle’s podcast was not part of Kail’s KILLR Podcasting Network, Kail replied, “Surprised? I can’t do that much charity work.”

As of press time, Jenelle has not responded to Kail’s Grade A remark. However, last month she had a lot to say about her podcast, vowing to overthrow Kail in the podcasting world with her upcoming podcast.

“Move over Kail my podcast and network is next,” Jenelle wrote on social media in January.

Kail— who is apparently making 2026 her year to be petty—- immediately jumped in to offer her thoughts on Jenelle’s threat to her podcasting empire. (As fans know, Kail currently has three podcasts of her own, and runs the KILLR Podcasting Network, which features other podcasts.)

“I just peed from laughing so hard,” Kail wrote in the comment section of Jenelle’s post on Facebook.

Tyler Baltierra Says Adoptive Parents Shouldn’t Raise Adopted Kids as Their Own

Tyler, on the fact that he rarely if ever has anything to say that isn’t adoption related…probably.

Days after Tyler Baltierra dropped a series of an anti-adoption remarks on a podcast, the Teen Mom dad has taken to TikTok Live to criticize adoptive parents for the way they choose to parent their children.

As fans of ‘Teen Mom’ know, Tyler and wife Catelynn Lowell placed their biological daughter Carly for adoption shortly after her birth in 2009. In recent years, the relationship between Tyler and Catelynn and Carly’s parents, Brandon and Teresa Davis, has soured, ultimately leading Brandon and Teresa to cut off communication with the MTV couple in 2024.

Tyler and Catelynn have continued to publicly speak out about the situation with their biological daughter and her parents, even claiming in October that their concerns about Carly’s life and church had prompted them to communicate with a minor earlier that year, whom they believed was a friend of Carly’s.

Tyler recently hinted at Brandon and Teresa’s parenting choices while telling fans on social media that he believes adoptive parents who raise adoptees as their own does a “disservice to the adoptee.”

“…but no notes, couldn’t agree more!”

“ … the truth is … you’re raising a child who was separated from its family of origin,” Tyler argued in the video, which was later posted to Reddit. “And also, you’re raising a child who was put into a lifelong contract that they didn’t consent to. So, you have to understand that.”

Tyler went on to specifically denounce adoptive parents who “pretend or act” like they are going to raise their adopted child as if it were their own, insisting that doing this isn’t “the best thing for the adoptee.”

“ … all that really does is that, when it comes up in conversations, the adoptee feels [like], ‘Oh my God … I’m having these feelings, like, I wanna know more about my birth parents, or I wanna know my story,’ [and] they might not feel comfortable enough to explore that or ask for help to explore that because you’ve reiterated in their head so much that, ‘Well no, you’re just the same as if I had you [as] my own … ,’” Tyler claimed.

“And so, in a way, it kind like, robs them of having the autonomy to make that decision, if that makes sense.”

David Eason Gets Tattoo of Ex-Girlfriend’s Name Covered; Jenelle Evans Gives Ex-Husband’s Ink Her Stamp of Approval

“That looks SO MUCH more classier, dude…”

David Eason, the ex-husband (for now, anyway) of Jenelle Evans, recently treated himself via Jenelle’s bank account, probably to some sea-life neck ink in an effort to cover up an existing tattoo of his ex-girlfriend Kenleigh Heatwole’s name.

“I tried f**kin’ rakin’ this here tattoo off, but it don’t come out!”

The boater-home dweller– who got the boot from Kenleigh’s life— and house— in September after more than a year of dating– took to Facebook recently to debut his latest ink, which he said has yet to be completed.

“The tattoo I’ve always wanted, and covering up the tattoo I should’ve never gotten!” David wrote. “Can’t wait for the next session when we add the color and background!”

* Trigger Warning Not Included

While Jenelle and David have been legally divorced for more than six months, the fired ‘Teen Mom 2’ star recently spent some time with her former swampmate while he was in Las Vegas visiting the couple’s daughter, Ensley, for the first time in two years.

While Jenelle– who currently has a restraining order against David– insisted that she and her most recent ex-husband were simply “coparenting,” the two seem to be on very friendly terms as of late, often “liking” each other’s content on social media.

In fact, Jenelle was quick to hit the “like” button on David’s tattoo post, suggesting that she approves of her (former?) man’s mollusk marking.

Death, taxes, and Jenelle running back to a toxic ex…

Jenelle’s stamp of approval should come to the surprise of absolutely no one, as she chose to get an octopus inked onto her body years ago in order to cover up a tattoo that she got of her ex and second baby daddy Nathan Griffith’s name.

  1. As an adoptive mom, Tyler typically drives me nuts with his ant-adoption rhetoric. I think what he’s trying to say here though, is that you can’t pretend that you birthed your adopted child. You have to acknowledge that someone else gave birth to them and that they have other family out there aside from their adoptive family. I think it’s important to be honest with our adopted children about their origin stories and to let them know that it’s okay to have questions. It’s also important, as they grow up, to let them know that we will support whatever relationship or lack thereof that they someday choose to have with their birth families. In this respect, Tyler is right, you can’t raise an adopted child exactly the way you would raise a biological one.

  2. So Tyler doesn’t think that an adopted child deserves a sense of belonging, unconditional love, a real family, parents, stability and security? Wow….

  3. Why is Tyler speaking for adoptees when he isn’t one? Also, we all are forced into “lifelong contracts that we didn’t consent to.” It’s not like any of us get to choose the families we are born into. And if I was given a choice to pick between Brandon and Teresa or Tyler and Catelynn to be my parents, the way I would choose Brandon and Teresa so fast!

  4. catelynn and tyler are literally the benjamin buttons of maturity because how were they so much mature at 16 than now in their 30s???

  5. “telling fans on social media that he believes adoptive parents who raise adoptees as their own does a “disservice to the adoptee.”

    Omfg this is insane

  6. I’m appalled at Tyler’s comments about how adoptive parents should raise their kids. As a person involved in foster care and adoption you don’t make the child feel different than your biological children. They are family no matter how long they are with you.
