Jenelle Evans has been taking plenty of heat lately from her only friend, Gabbie Egan, who recently called the fired Teen Mom star out for reuniting with her ex-husband David Eason. Over the weekend, Gabbie posted a video to TikTok in which she claimed Jenelle texted her— mad as a swamp hornet— for talking about Jenelle’s willingness to go back to David— despite the fact that Jenelle claimed he was abusive to her and her kids, as well as in possession of child exploitation materials and more.
In a TikTok video posted over the weekend, Gabbie slammed Jenelle for accusing her of trying to get “clout” off of her. Gabbie also claimed that she was a good friend to Jenelle, even allegedly attempting to help Jenelle kick bad habits.
“I tried to help her get sober,” Gabbie— who has more than a year of sobriety herself— stated.
“I tried to give her my genuine, true friendship and advice as somebody that did think she was possible of changing,” Gabbie said. “Obviously, I am severely mistaken. I have done nothing in this friendship– I have gained nothing…if anything, being associated with her has ruined my reputation more, right?”
During the video, Gabbie talked about a text she received from Jenelle recently.
“[She texted me], ‘You wanna talk about me and David being back together and all that. All my friends know what’s going on and I didn’t tell you because my friends told me not to tell you anything anymore because you’re just gonna run online,'” Gabbie said. “First of all, that’s not what happened because, one, what friends?! Your makeup artist? That’s on payroll?”
(Jenelle’s makeup artist— who, remind you, did this to her for her “Divorce Party” this summer— came to care for Jenelle and her kids after Jenelle had a tummy tuck in December.)
“…second of all, you didn’t tell me that you and David are back together because you’re embarrassed because the only reason that I started talking to you again is because I texted you and congratulated you on finally leaving that monster!” Gabbie continued. “But no, now I’m the bad guy.”
Gabbie also disputed Jenelle’s recent claim that she and Gabbie were never really friends.
“…if we weren’t friends, why did you call me? Anytime you had an issue, you had a problem, I listened to you cry,” Gabbie stated. “I sat there and gave you advice— hours, mind you! I was there for you. Was there for you for your divorce party when nobody else was showing up.”
(Gabbie did, indeed, show up to Jenelle’s cringetastic divorce party, and was the only friend who came, other than the previously mentioned makeup artist.)
“But we weren’t friends? Cool,” she said, denying Jenelle’s other claim that she was trying to get “clout” off of Jenelle’s name.
“If anything, I was trying to help you rebrand yourself, right?” she said. “If you post any of our screenshots of our messages, it would be me doing nothing but trying to help you rebrand yourself, become a better person, because I truly believe that after people do horrible things, sometimes they really can change.”
Gabbie’s claims about Jenelle are very similar to the ones that Jenelle’s ex-friend and co-star Kail Lowry made in January. Kail, like Gabbie, stated that she was a good friend to Jenelle but their friendship soured because Jenelle didn’t not reciprocate. Gabbie and Kail’s claims were so similar, in fact, that Kail reached out to Gabbie in the comment section of Gabbie’s TikTok video and invited her to talk about all things Jenelle on one of her podcasts.
It is not known what substance(s) Gabbie allegedly tried to help Jenelle come off of. However, in 2024, Jenelle’s then-boyfriend “August Keen,” told cops that Jenelle “used to be an alcoholic,” and mentioned several instances in which Jenelle’s drinking caused issues for her and others.

This shows just how awful Child Protective Services are in the US. Jenelle in a court of law accused David of having child exploitation material and hinted that he was inappropriate with his older daughter and nothing happened. He abused her other child and is facing charges for it. Now she is back with him and still nothing. She has two children in her care. They should have been removed.
CPS is a crock. It’s an organization that CONSTANTLY fails and if you looked online for all of the children killed because of their lack of care. They, like so many government controlled agencies, are in it for the money and not because they care. I cannot tell you how many people I know that have had CPS step in without any real reason to and then others that SHOULD have their children taken and they continue to stay under the radar. It’s sickening
Saying CPS workers are in it for the money is the most absurd thing I’ve ever read, and I just read Jenelle’s text where she claims to have friends! CPS, like many government agencies, are severely underfunded– both wrt staff and resources– leading to extremely high staff turnover
So she IS back with Eason… poor Jace, poor Kaiser. I hope Judge orders CPS visits and mandatory therapy for the kids and her – separately.
I appreciate that she Gabbie to play Captain Save a Hoe with JE but it should have been obvious from the jump that JE was always going to play Captain Save A Boater-Ho(m)e with UBT. I don’t know how much of Gabbie’s reputation was tarnished by associating with JE but now everyone in the future should be aware that JE will throw you under the bus if it makes her look better & if you choose to associate with her knowing all this then you only have yourself to blame.

I am no Jenelle fan, but this random woman coming out with all this “mad about Jenelle” content all the sudden, out of nowhere being a “caring friend” does look more like just using Jenelle’s business to get seen.

Isn’t there an active restraining order or no contact order in place for David with Jenelle? If so, wouldn’t/shouldn’t he get in trouble for still being with her when Ensley has been out of the hospital? Or did I miss a chapter?
I didn’t look into this, but my speculation is that it’s not valid in Vegas since it was ruled upon in NC. NC police won’t be flying to Vegas to act on a restraining order the petitioner themself is choosing to ignore, not to mention the fact they’d have no jurisdiction. Vegas police have no way to know about the order and likely have no authority to act on one from another state. Both police have much more important things to care about than this anyway
It doesn’t matter where in the country the violation occurs or what state the order was issued in. Local police can charge where the violation occurs. So if there is a restraining order or order of protection issued against David with Jenelle or the kids being protected than Las Vegas can arrest and charge him.

Jenelle’s brain needs to be studied. No matter how many mistakes she makes, she never, ever learns her lesson. If she didn’t leave hurt children in her wake, it would be truly fascinating. Unfortunately, her mistakes now affect her children which is so sad.

i definitely believe gabby (especially about her makeup artist “friend” and can understand her feelings after being in the same position with a “friend” or two but she’s not helping herself in jenelle’s “clout chasing” claims 😭😭
