The Ashley has obtained the audio of the 911 call that Jenelle Evans‘ mother Barbara Evans made to police on February 22, asking for help after her grandson Jace erupted in anger after finding out Jenelle was back with her ex-husband David Eason.
According to the 911 call audio (which The Ashley is not posting), Barbara was the one who called police, asking them to “come talk” to her immediately. As The Ashley reported yesterday, Jace was being destructive at Barbara’s house.
“My grandson is on probation and he’s destroying my house,” Barb tells the 911 operator in the call audio obtained by The Ashley.
Barb then mentions that Jace threatened to shoot himself. (However, as The Ashley reported, no gun was found on Barb’s property when the police came out and searched.)
On Tuesday, Jenelle’s sister Ashleigh denied that Jace threatened Barbara, as TMZ reported. (The command log notes– — also obtained by The Ashley— do not make any mention of Jace threatening Barb with a gun, just FYI.)
“I want officers to come out and talk to me,” Barbara asked, before requesting that the officers stay outside to avoid making the situation worse.
The command log notes state that the officers do not need to use caution, which indicates that they did not believe Jace had a gun.
The Ashley can reveal that the officers were only on the scene for about 15 minutes, before Jace was taken to the hospital and then a mental health facility, where he remains as of press time.
On Wednesday, someone (who is being paid a pretty penny for each story sold about Jace, just FYI) sold another story to TMZ stating that Jenelle is planning to visit Jace at the hospital over Spring Break.
“We’re told Jenelle, who lives in Las Vegas, has been staying in close contact with Jace,” the TMZ story stated.
(This is not true, given that Jace has refused to speak to Jenelle while he’s been in the facility, according to The Ashley’s sources.)
“Meanwhile, her mom, Barbara Evans — who Jace has been living with — has been visiting him regularly at the facility,” the story reads.
(This is true– -Barbara has visited him in the facility.)
“We’re also told [Jenelle’s] been receiving help and support from her ex-husband, David Eason, and the two are currently on good terms,” the story states.
As The Ashley has previously told you, Jace hates David and is furious that his mom got back with him. David currently has pending criminal charges against him for assault via strangulation and child abuse, for allegedly assaulting Jace when he was 14 in 2023. Jace was possibly going to testify at David’s upcoming trial, something Jenelle does not want to happen.
“When Jace found out from reading it online that his mom was back with David, he flipped out,” The Ashley’s source told her earlier this week. “Jenelle didn’t even tell him herself, he had to read it on the Internet.”
Jenelle’s sister Ashleigh stated on Monday that Jace doesn’t want Jenelle around him.
“My nephew wants nothing to do with my sister Jenelle because of what his mother has done to him and betrayed him,” Ashleigh wrote on X.
“Jenelle canceled his medical insurance last year abandoned him refused to do medical treatment for him while [he was] living with my mom,” Ashleigh stated. “Other family has medical insurance for him because Jenelle refuses to step up and be a mom. She abandoned him such a shame.”

I used to watch the show and wish they’d just have put that poor kid up for adoption. That baby never had a chance.
Poor kid has been off the wall way before anything with David. And way before Jenelle reconciled with David.
You’ll never find me defending Jenelle, but she’s parenting the same way she was parented.
Barb never had her back either. She threw her under the bus at every opportunity and Jenelle is repeating the cycle.
I feel so sad for Jace. He seems like such a soft sweet soul, desperate to fit in somewhere and find unconditional love.

I’m getting sick of hearing how Barbara was such a bad mom. She took care of Jace!! Was she perfect – no, but she’s had Jace since he was a baby. Janelle did NOTHING but cause chaos every time she was there!!!! She’d blow in like a tornado, cause her destruction and leave!!! Back off Barbara. Janelle is trash! Men (if you wanna call them that) are her ONLY priority!!!

This poor boy obviously has PTSD from living with David for all those years. His mother is so selfish and evil that she’s willing to put her child’s mental health at risk than cut that swamp creature out of her life. Such a tragic situation. My thoughts and prayers are with Jace.
David obv. SUCKS but Jen is the real problem. She is responsible for protecting her child, not David and she is the one who repeatedly exposes him. If Jace has PTSD its from lonnnggg before David was in the picture- not to say David being around is helping, we all know he is terrible, Jenelle more than the rest of us yet here she is back with him.
Thank you for pointing this out. Jace was born into chaos. Constant screaming and fighting since birth coming from all the adults in his life, and it just never got better. I know someone who has had years of counseling and was told that PTSD can happen at an extremely young age.
For sure. That’s the household I was raised in. Kids raised in violent households become violent kids, then adults, much of the time – which is what happened to both my brother and I.
My dad and uncles all used to punch holes in the walls and throw stuff at their kids and spouses when they’d get mad. Pretty sure they learned it from their dad.
I ended up needing anger management classes when I was in my teens. I used to have a violent temper. So glad I had the classes and those days are behind me. I learned to find an outlet (running, trampoline) for my anger.
I hope Jace can do the same. He has a right to be angry – but not to destroy his Grandma’s stuff.
I cannot tell you how proud I am of you, for doing what you needed to do, to break the strings from what was taught to you, by a family who was violent, bc that was what was taught to them. You are the link that changes it for the remaining descendants to come. Keep it up! So proud!

That can’t possibly be legal with the charges against him pending and the fact that Jenelle claimed IN COURT that he abused all of the kids and herself!! What the hell is wrong with the system in Las Vegas
that they don’t send someone to check on those kids who now have a child abuser back in their home

Yet there he is, living at their home, and waiting for his chance to hurt them again. Especially Kaiser, who

be upset, and possibly have a mental breakdown. That way, Janelle probably figured that Jace would be
labeled as unstable, and all charges against David would be dropped!! I really think this was her sick plan.
Just so she can get back to regular, diseased fucking with that monster. Let’s all pray for something horrible to happen to Jenelle, because it’s the only thing that will save these kids.
Not to mention there is an order of protection out against UBT/Lurch/DKD that also covers the children. The courts really should be notified that he’s back living with them. Let’s not forget about the CSA claims as well…

And he only went to Vegas to see Ensley because she was in the hospital. They sent time together because he hasn’t been allowed to see her, so they spent “family time” together, for Ensley.

It makes me not believe the other stories published by TMZ. Sometimes I tell myself they aren’t trustworthy and other times I’ll believe it’s a pretty safe bet it’s true, or at least the main parts, bc it’s TMZ. Then I’ll see some stories like the ones TMZ wrote about Jaces mental breakdown and find out most of the horrifically dangerous parts weren’t even true. I also 💯% believe Jenelle herself, is the one feeding these ‘Jace is a danger to himself and others’ storyline in order to hurt Jace AND to get David back. Knowing all the while she’s backed Jace up and told the court how David is the horrific and dangerous abuser. She’s turned her back on the truth and on her son, yet again. And running to the media to give false stories to humiliate her son, while pocketing the cash she makes from those false stories.
My heart has always hurt for Jace, but it’s crushed now. This poor kid has such a long, hard life ahead of him. Jenelle has always treated him like a toy. My parents were addicts and couldn’t get their shit together to save their lives until I was in my 20’s and a parent, and I can empathize with everything Jace has to deal with. Hugs, Jace,you have a whole world of people who do care about you. Speak your truth and you will be fine.

I feel so bad for him, too. His entire childhood has been a complete nightmare and he’s suffering the consequences. If he doesn’t get the help he needs and figure out how to handle his emotions, he’s in for some serious trouble in the future. He’s almost an adult and he’s not equipped to deal with life. It’s not his fault. Barb isn’t exactly perfect, either. I really hope he manages to help himself.
It’s so sad. I hope he gets actual helpful counseling and anger management training. Glad he isn’t in contact with his mom.
I find it so disturbing and shameful that the David/strangle case happened years ago and keeps getting postponed. Ffs, this is a child abuse case and should have been resolved immediately. No wonder poor Jace gets upset! Everyone and everything has let him down.
It’s his mother letting him down, repeatedly that must hurt the most.
They’re intentionally postponing the court date in hopes it will eventually get dropped. David’s lawyer has been clearly playing this game with the NC courts but, let’s be real here, these are the same courts and CPS system that allowed Kaiser to be abused, Ensley to be abused, Maryssa (sp?) to be abused and Jace to be abused ON CAMERA WITH WITNESSES. Having lived in the state and witnessing it over and over again, David will likely get off with very little more than a slap on the wrist. They simply do not care. I am hoping a barracuda attorney will take this case up for Jace and show who was selling stories, violating orders of protection, canceling medical insurance and then getting their potato body cut up and formed into yet another potato… that’s the only thing that will really change this outcome.
My heart aches for Jace. He’s never had a fair shake at life, from his very conception. This stay at the hospital could very well be the positive and intensive help he’s been desperately needing. They can get him stabilized on medication and teach him coping skills and strategies when things get overwhelming/are extremely stressful and unfair in his life.
Can attest to the NC system being awful and neglecting kids. It’s disturbing.

Maybe going to the facility isn’t the worst thing for him. Sounds like Babs visits regularly so someone that cares is keeping an eye on what is going on.
Hopefully David will go to prison and that will give Jace some satisfaction. Prisoners don’t take kindly to child abusers. Hopefully he unwillingly becomes someone’s girlfriend – someone who was abused by a stepdad and takes out all of their rage on David.

His 18th birthday can’t come fast enough. He needs to write a tell all about Jenelle and live off his earnings.

I agree completely with everything but the hurry up to 18. It’s going to be much harder for him to find support and mental health services as an adult. The rural communities dotting the borders of Wilmington will lock someone in jail when they’re having a mental health episode instead of treating it as such. When it’s a minor, things are handled a bit better and the resources are there (especially in emergent situations where waitlists can be bypassed). I fear him being totally turned loose at 18 and floundering in the system due to his complete abandonment. Barb is a senior citizen who recently had a stroke. She cannot shoulder this for much longer and may be fully unable once he’s an adult. I fear so much for Jace’s future as it’s so unfairly stacked. He’s deserved the world and been given Jenelle, Andrew and David. Woof.
While I’m glad that The Ashley is exposing Jenelle’s lies, I really wish that poor Jace could heal peacefully, in private. Jenelle’s evil is shining more brightly than ever as she counts her windfall from TMZ. There is no place rotten enough for Jenelle to suffer for all eternity after all that she continues to put those kids through.
She needs to stay far away from Jace. Leave the poor kid alone, you’ve done enough damage.
If she does visit him how much do you want to bet she would bring David with her just to piss Jace off. Then when Jace rightfully lost his shit (who wouldn’t with these two abusers) Jenelle would then use it to prove Jace was unstable. That’s how diabolical Jenelle is.
It sounds to me like Barb thought she could use the police to get Jace back in line. Asking them to come talk to her but to stay outside. The police generally don’t chit chat and if they (or barb) deemed Jace to be a danger to himself or others it’s off to the mental hospital yet again.
How could Jace not be pissed? He has been passed back and forth between people. He has had multiple people give him up willingly to other people and then those people give him back and the cycle repeats. He has ran away multiple times after being abused only to be dropped right back with Jenelle and David. He has been put in a mental hospital repeatedly. He has been abused, abandoned and discarded like he doesn’t matter. He is acting out because he is hurt and anger is an easier emotion than a broken heart.
All Jace has to do is talk to the staff at the facility and tell them that he doesn’t want Jenelle and/or David anywhere near him and they’ll legally ban them. If they show up and refuse to leave or make a scene, they’ll be arrested for trespass. I kind of hope they do show up and both end up in the back of a squad car.

Not saying jenelle would try to pull that stunt, just that the police can get involved if she tries.
So there’s the excuse for why her & UBT are officially “back together” in public. He was there & supported her through everything going on w/Jace & he’s changed & things are different now & blah blah blah. But we all know the only reason he’s with her is to get the charges against him dropped. We will never let her forget what she said in court about CSA & his abuse of the kids & pets & herself.
Nothing either of the swamp monsters do will have any effect on the charges. The state of NC filed the charges against him and the state’s attorney is the only one with the power to dismiss them. And, if the state is planning to have Jace testify, they’ll make it as easy as possible on him to do so. The swamp monsters have NO POWER in this case and if they try to visit Jace in attempt to sway him not to testify, they can be charged with witness tampering.
Jenelle is also going to find out that she can’t charge into the courthouse and demand the restraining order be dropped. A judge or a magistrate are the only ones with the power to rescind the order and they’re going to ask her why she believes he’s no longer a danger to her and the kids like she swore under oath he is. He hasn’t complied with the psych evaluation she demanded, he had another woman apply for a restraining order within the last year (although it wasn’t granted) and he has done nothing to prove to the court that he’s no longer a dangerous abuser. It’s very likely a judge will ask her whether she was lying then or is she lying now. She’s backed herself into a corner this time and I hope she can’t easily get herself out of it. She’s a completely vile, garbage person.
The most important thing right now is to protect Jace. I hope Barb and Jace’s social worker are working behind the scenes to ask for an emergency guardianship hearing. That would be the best thing for Jace right now and they could also be granted an order to stop Jenelle and UBT from selling stories to TMZ.
I really hope David gets jail time. Only a matter of time before he starts harming Kaiser, Ensley and whatever animals he has access to

I don’t think her OF is doing very well or she wouldn’t need to go back to selling stories again. I’m sure she needs more money now that David’s back in the picture too. She’s got airline tickets, dinners at fancy restaurants, day trips, booze and weed to pay for now to keep Dirty Dave happy.
It’s highly possible that UBT is the one selling stories to TMZ (with his bitch of a wife’s blessing, of course). Anything to pocket some cash without having to actually work for it.
Jace being in a facility won’t stop him from being able to testify if the state has him on the witness list. He could give testimony via video link, it’s done all the time. The state will do everything they can to make him as comfortable as possible and to make it as easy as they can for him. If anything, I believe her getting back together with that disgusting piece of garbage will make Jace want to do everything he can to help convict him.

Hopefully they will see that his mom choosing his abuser over him is what caused him to lose his sh!t again. I also hope that maybe some of his therapists can testify about how harmful this is to his mental health & can get a restraining order against Jenelle too.
I have no idea if Jace reads the Ashley, but I just want to wish him clarity to know that nothing his mother does is his fault or responsibility. He should not carry any shame because of her. He is his own person and fully deserves a good life. I hope he can feel good about who he is as a person and follow a good path ahead. We’ve all watched him grow up and know his heart is pure.
The only reason she might try to visit Jace is to try to convince him to take back anything negative he’s said about David, I wouldn’t put it past her to try to bribe him by telling him she’ll get him out of the facility if he does.
It is honestly crazy how most could tell growing up and watching his living situation that he would not be ok. Sadly over the years every year for jace kept getting worse and worse. Big changes, new men, new assaults, new kids, new medications and hospitalizations for multiple people, jail time, arrests. One of those things would make most kids act out let alone all of that and more. We are all rooting for jace and I understand he probably reads how much people dislike his mother as well, but that doesn’t really help him.
