Days after Andrew Lewis gave an exclusive interview to The Ashley asking his baby mama Jenelle Evans to “stop threatening” his family, another member of the Lewis clan has come forward to reveal the messages she and Andrew’s mother have received from Jenelle over the past month or so in which the Teen Mom star allegedly angrily threatens to take them to court, while also refusing to allow them to stay out of the fight currently going on for Jenelle and Andrew’s son Jace.

In one message exclusively shared with The Ashley, Jenelle orders Andrew’s niece, Cayely Winburn, to make Andrew do certain things— specifically to hand over his medical insurance info to her— all while refusing to disclose Jace’s current location.

(As The Ashley previously reported, Jace had been in a mental health facility for about a month, starting in late February until last week, when Jenelle removed him and took him to another location without notifying anyone, including Andrew, her mom Barbara Evans and other members of his family. Andrew told The Ashley last week that he still has no idea where his son is.) 

According to Cayely, she and Andrew’s mom have tried to stay as neutral as possible regarding the fight going on between Andrew and Barbara, and Jenelle. 

“I love Jace; he’s my baby cousin and I want him to be happy,” Cayely told The Ashley. “I’m on Jace’s side, not Andrew’s or Jenelle’s or Barbara’s.”

In messages shared with The Ashley by Cayely, Jenelle threatens to subpoena the entire Lewis family to come to court because they’re not doing what she wants.

“It’s OK,” Jenelle writes. “I’m just going to subpoena your whole family to court. See you there.” 

 

 

“She’s a full-grown infant,” Cayely said of Jenelle. “She doesn’t know how to be an actual adult without being aggressive…I love Jace, he’s my baby cousin… our family wants things to get better for Jace and she is not doing that. If anyone tries to do that, Jenelle shoots them down to make herself look better.”

According to Cayely, Jenelle began “harassing” Andrew’s mom last month to get the insurance info from the policy Andrew has for Jace. (In his interview with The Ashley last week, Andrew claimed that Jenelle “has taken advantage of” Jace being on his medical insurance plan, causing him to now owe over $16,000 in medical claims from Jace’s stay at the previous facility. Jenelle has declared that she is now paying for Jace’s medical care at the new location.) 

“Why won’t Andrew give me Jace’s health insurance?” Jenelle wrote to Andrew’s mom last month. 

When Andrew’s mom didn’t respond to Jenelle’s message, Jenelle continued to pepper her with more messages.

“So you’re going to read my message and not answer me when the hospital needs it?” Jenelle wrote. “The other hospital.”

“I don’t understand why you choose to message me then ignore me,” Jenelle wrote soon after. “You’ve done that to me and Jace for years since he’s been born, all of you…”

Andrew’s mom eventually responded to Jenelle’s messages, informing the ‘Teen Mom’ star that she doesn’t want to be dragged into the situation.

“As I told you before when you and Andrew and Cayely were at the courthouse last year, I’m neutral and don’t take sides,” Andrew’s mom wrote. “The information and or message is not mine to give. The best way to get things done is for everyone to keep their cool and yes, keep the communications open, equally on both sides. Whatever the outcome, we all have to accept it with no hard feelings. 

“To me that’s what is best for Jace and all concerned.”

Cayely tells The Ashley she only responded to the messages that Jenelle sent her after Jenelle began sending messages to Andrew’s mom (who is Cayely’s grandma).

“I understand Andrew and you have some stuff going on with Jace,” Cayely wrote to Jenelle on March 16. “I am neutral, same as my gma. I don’t know much about what is going on nor do I want to be involved. All I want is what’s best for Jace, Andrew and your son [who is] my baby cousin. I’m respectfully asking you leave my gma out of it.

“It isn’t her place to give out information that isn’t hers,” Cayely continued. “My gma does not need to be disrespected because she chooses not to respond to you.”

Jenelle responded by warning Cayely that “I am [Jace’s] mother and I have authority over his physical well-being and health decisions.”

She then says that if the situation were reversed, and she was in the position Andrew’s mom is in, she would be helpful.

“If my son’s ex was asking for health insurance information I would MAKE SURE that was done to make sure my son’s a great father,” Jenelle insisted. “To withhold that information is childish and none of you are helping to the situation and adding stress to it…”

 

Jenelle then scolded Cayely for ignoring her previous messages.

“You didn’t want to answer me until your gma got a stern message from me, nice,” Jenelle wrote. “I see where all your priorities are at.”

In other messages sent to Cayely, Jenelle talks about how she used to babysit her (back when Jenelle was a teen dating Andrew), mentioning that, back then, Andrew once threw someone against a wall.

In messages dated later in March, Jenelle again came for Cayely, seemingly insinuating that she had something to do with Andrew starting his GoFundMe to raise money for Jace’s medical bills and Barbara’s legal fees to fight Jenelle in court for custody.

“You have all lost of my trust and scamming my fans now?” Jenelle wrote to Cayely regarding the GoFundMe. “Wow.”

Jenelle went on to write that starting a GoFundMe is not going to help Jace and that she is “mad as a mother but the judge is going to be even more mad at the fact NO ONE can be quiet and leave my son alone…”

Jenelle— who made a statement just days ago about Jace to TMZ and posted pics of the boy to social media after she sprung him from the mental health facility— accused Cayely of “slandering” her as Jace’s mother.

“Jace can’t trust any family, not even my mom and it’s so sad,” she wrote. 

Cayely insisted that she had nothing to do with Andrew’s decision to start a GoFundMe, and then clapped back at Jenelle’s own choices.

“Before you continue and talk about Jace not trusting you, you broke that trust the second you let David walk into your life and [then] back into your life again. You broke that trust with your own son. End of discussion,” Cayely wrote to Jenelle.

(As fans are aware, Jenelle reunited with her ex-husband David Eason earlier this year, despite having an active restraining order against him, and despite him having pending criminal charges against him for allegedly physically attacking Jace in 2023.) 

 Cayely told The Ashley that she wants Jenelle to leave her and the rest of the Lewis family alone.

“She just keeps harassing people until she gets what she wants,” she said.
