Jenelle Evans and David Eason are giving their swampy s**tshow of a relationship yet another try and, now that the fired Teen Mom stars are back together, it does make their pending court case a bit trickier.
As The Ashley has previously told you, David and Jenelle are officially divorced (as of last summer), but still have not hashed out a custody plan for their nine-year-old daughter Ensley. Although the swampy soulmates were due in court next week to develop and agree on a permanent custody plan for Ensley, The Ashley can now reveal that the hearing has been moved to May— at David’s request!
According to court records obtained by The Ashley, David specifically requested that the hearing be moved to May. Both he and Jenelle have been ordered to attend the custody hearing in-person.
“They are stalling,” one of The Ashley’s sources tells her. “They know if they go into court they will have to admit on-record that they are back together.”
The source added that the active restraining order against David is also a concern for the re-soulmated couple.
“They would have to explain this to the judge,” the source stated. “Only a judge can have the restraining order lifted.”
The restraining order is supposed to remain in effect until November 2026.
Although David and Jenelle have both avoided confirming that they are back together, but the couple has been canoodling for weeks in Las Vegas. Eagle-eyed folks noticed that Jenelle’s smiling mug is very clearly seen reflected in David’s sunglasses in a selfie he posted to social media this weekend. The pair were lunching together in Vegas.
As The Ashley previously told you, David also had his criminal court case (for felony Assault by Strangulation and child abuse for allegedly assaulting Jenelle’s eldest son Jace in 2023) postponed. Despite his attorney meeting with prosecutors last month, his criminal case is not scheduled to hit the courtroom again until April 6. (David was “excused” from appearing at last month’s hearing. As The Ashley told you, he was in Vegas with Jenelle at the time.)
David and Jenelle will not be meeting up in court until May 5 now.

I can’t believe I am saying this but I miss her being with Augustus/her manager or whatever his name was. He was nothing special but at least he wasn’t INSANE.
At least it seemed like he took care of the kids or made sure there was a babysitter to take care of them when they went out!
It’s not surprising that immediately after “August” leaves, that she’s suddenly calling the cops on Jace every other day, can’t control her kids, everyone is running away or caught vaping at school….
But any man that is “good enough” to not beat and abuse children is TOO GOOD for Jenelle to keep….even if she co-signs them brand new cars and lets them profit off being her Only Fans “manager”! So she’s stuck crawling back to people like David if she wants someone—anyone—to please parent her owns kids for her.
It infuriates me.
Why is she allowed to have between 2 and 3 kids in her custody (depending on the year and whose strangled whom), when she 1) can’t care for them on her own…and 2) the only men that are willing to “care” for the kids also psychologically and physically abuse them (and also apparently sexually abuse them, according to Jenelle claim with the court when she was mad at David….)
Why is this woman allowed to keep her children? Or 2/3 of them, at least…!?
Where is KEISER? We’ve only seen pics of Ensley for the past month.

She obviously needs help in order for her to stay away from that narcissistic abuser. He would have never won custody of Ensley. I feel for those kids. Now he will know he has the upper hand in everything.
I’m sure he will go right back to abusing Kaiser, since it would appear that he is going to get away with strangling Jace! That case is now over 2 years old, and the courts obviously have no intention of convicting that piece of shit. Run Kaiser! Run as fast as you can!
It is exhausting when anyone talks about Jenelle like she cannot CHOOSE to be with David. As if he is some mental magician and she is too dumb to know what she’s doing. She’s a grown woman, mother of three, providing for herself and her kids, married and divorced, she’s fully aware of her actions and choices. He doesn’t put Jenelle into some trance and she’s incapable of understanding. She’s a willing participant in any and all of the David fuckery.
Let me also add.. Jenelle fought publicly with kenleigh for months. Before calling him when ensley got sick and then giving him the keys to her car and running around town with him. Then flying him to Vegas, etc. People
Keep talking like David is manipulating her so he can get away with what he did to Jace. Like Jenelle didn’t scream about her jealousy all over social media for months before bringing him to Vegas when she could’ve simply never contacted him. Come on. The “Jenelle is so innocent and David is so awful” bit gets old as fuck dude. She just loves David and wants to be with him. It’s NOTHING MORE AND NOTHING LESS.
Jenelle will end up in a streaming documentary about mothers who horribly abused their children.

The family court system is a joke. It forces moms that leave abusive men to coparent with their abuser but allows Janelle to take her kid away from the dad for years? I’m sorry but most moms would be in jail for that, just the way the system is set up.. my own lawyer told me that dads who break their kids arms still get visitation… so idk how she got away with this tbh
She moved across the country so that effectively blocked David from having easy access. And he refused to go through the court-ordered evaluation. He could have had more visitation if he could be bothered. That’s the difference.

If Jenelle testifies against David in the upcoming case against him with Jace, he is definitely going to prison and he knows that. Once all the cases against him are settled watch how fast David finds a new girlfriend and dumps Jenelle again.

Yes, I think the timing of this is SOOOO obvious! She mentions making $1 million last Fall, then he breaks up with Kenleigh shortly after and thus lost a “home”… then his case regarding Jace is about to go forward, then suddenly he wants Jenelle back. Ok sure, Jan 🤔 problem is Jenelle is way too desperate for a man and is incapable of putting her children’s or her own safety ahead of the need for a man. Remember her mom was in abusive relationships, so that is all she knows, she can’t change her brain wiring apparently to strive for better. It’s laughable how obvious David’s timing is, of course he wants her back-for now- to avoid jail time for Jace and to grab some of Jenelle’s $ she brags about making. The fact she can’t see that is incredibly perplexing, but just goes to show the level of her codependency and screwed up thinking. I hope Kaiser can go live with his other grandma as soon as he is able(some states allow kids to choose once they’re 14). I think he’s 12?
