Despite being best friends, appearing on multiple 90 Day Fiancé spin-offs, and co-parenting a child for more than a decade, Veronica Rodriguez claimed this week that her former fiancé Tim Malcolm didn’t score an invite to her recent wedding to Seth Daryoushfer because his attendance “wouldn’t have been appropriate.”
As The Ashley previously reported, Veronica and Seth tied the knot March 21 at St. Mary’s Chapel in Charlotte North Carolina, followed by a reception held at The Ivey’s Hotel.
After Veronica posted photos from the event on social media, fans in the comments began wondering if Veronica’s dad had attended the ceremony, as well as Tim, given the exes’ close friendship, which has been well-documented over the years on various “90 Day Fiancé” spin-offs.
In a screenshot posted by “90 Day Fiancé” blogger John Yates on Thursday, Veronica explained that while her father was at the wedding, Tim “didn’t attend because it wouldn’t have been appropriate, and that was completely understood by everyone.”

Veronica went on to assure fans that while Tim wasn’t invited to attend her North Carolina nuptials, the “90 Day Fiancé” star was still able to enjoy a “free vacation” in Florida.
“[Tim] spent the weekend at my dad’s house in Florida (free vacation + house sitting),” she wrote. “All is good.”
As fans of “90 Day Fiancé” know, Tim and Veronica aren’t just friends and former fiancés, they’re also co-parents to Veronica’s (now) 18-year-old daughter Chloe, as Tim remained in Chloe’s life as a father figure following his and Veronica’s split.
When replying to a comment on one of her and Seth’s wedding pictures, Veronica confirmed that Chloe had attended her and Seth’s wedding, and that the teen even served as her maid of honor.
When a fan wrote that it was “so sad” that Tim was not invited to the wedding, Veronica responded, “not so sad, we will always be coparents and friends but I have a new best friend now, my husband.”
While Veronica allegedly found it inappropriate for Tim to attend her wedding last month, she’s had no qualms about appearing alongside him– and in some cases, even without him– on multiple “90 Day Fiancé” spin-offs.
As viewers may remember, Veronica made her TLC debut on Season 3 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days when Tim was dating Jeniffer Tarazona. Veronica and Tim went on to appear on 90 Day Fiancé: Pillow Talk, as well as other spin-offs in the franchise.
In 2022, Veronica starred (sans Tim) on Season 3 of 90 Day: The Single Life while dating Justin Foster. After she and Justin called it quits, Veronica began a short-lived relationship with former “90 Day Fiancé” star Kim Menzies’ son Jamal, before going on to become Instagram official with Seth January 2025.
Seth went on to propose to Veronica in Venice in September, though the pair’s engagement-bliss was briefly derailed when the two were arrested in December after accusing each other of domestic violence.

Veronica and Seth were set to appear in court March 3, however, the charges against the two were dropped by the prosecutor in January due to neither Veronica nor Seth being willing to testify against the other, with both asserting their Fifth Amendment rights as part of their refusal to testify.
Tim has yet to comment on being snubbed from Veronica and Seth’s wedding.

So, it was appropriate for Veronica to stick her nose into his business in order to get her 15 minutes of fame from his 90 Day experiences but not close enough to invite to her wedding? If her and Tim have been strictly friends and nothing more for the past 15+ years, what was so inappropriate about inviting him to the wedding? Something tells me that Veronica’s husband doesn’t approve of the friendship and isn’t going to allow it to continue. Good luck, Veronica. You’ll need it. So will he.
