Kail Lowry Says She’s Still Pitching a Docu-Comedy Reality Show About Her & Her Kids; Claims She’s Surprised Previous Deals Have “Fallen Through”

“We’re ready for our closeups!”

It’s been over four years since Kail Lowry quit “Teen Mom 2″ but she’s still determined to get herself— and her kids– back on reality TV.

During this week’s episode of her Coffee Convos podcast, Kail told her co-host Lindsie Chrisley that she really wants to do a reality series about her family in the style of Chrisley Knows Best— the show Lindsie once starred on with her family.

“That style– would it be docu-comedy? Where it’s like reality but it’s kind of a funny spin on it?” Kail said. “That’s what I see for my family…my kids chew me up and spit me out every day. But we also have a lot of love in our house. So I think it would just be a funny take. The Kardashians is all girls, one boy. We’re all boys, one girl. And then the ‘Chrisley Knows Best’ docu-comedy vibe, I think that is the vibe for ‘Kail and the Chaos.'”

Back in 2024, Kail stated that she was “under contract” with a network to do a “Kail and the Chaos” show. No show ever materialized, something Kail says she shocked at.

“To be honest with you, I am a little bit surprised that all of my production deals have fallen through, because I can hold an audience,” Kail insisted. “I’ve proven that time and time again.”

“I can hold a foot. I’ve proven that time and time again!”

She also revealed that she’s still currently contracted for that show.

“Right now, I’ve been under contract for my own reality show, on and off, for three, four years,” Kail said. “But the networks have already bought their programming for those years. So it’s so much harder, even though I’ve shown longevity and I’ve shown that I can hold an audience, to get into it is so hard.”

Although Kail having seven kids (by four different dads) is a topic a lot of people tend to want to discuss, Kail says she would not want to deal with baby daddy drama on her show.

“I don’t want to talk about my personal problems or my drama. I want it to be the funny spin on all the things [my kids do],” she said.

You know that’s what we all wanna see…

Kail— who shares son Elliott with Jo Rivera; son Lincoln with her ex-husband Javi Marroquin; sons Lux and Creed with Chris Lopez, and sons Rio and Verse and daughter Valley with Elijah Scott— says people will want to watch her kids.

“It’d basically be, like, manufactured comedy, but my kids– we’re already funny,” she said. “So we’re not being something we’re not… everybody has seen my kids be funny or heard my kids be funny. So, it’s not like it would be out of the question.”

Kail insisted that her kids want to be famous.

“I’m not one to push my kids into the spotlight but two kids of mine specifically want to be in the spotlight,” she said. “Elliott and Lux want to do movies, they want to do comedy, they want to do acting, they want to do all of that.”

Kail said she would rather do a show that has its filming scripted— or structured— rather than a “raw” show like ‘Teen Mom 2’ was.

Join the club.

“For me, coming from an unscripted reality show where anything that I said could be cut and pasted on another scene, and not having any control over what was being filmed or edited,” she said. ” In our contract [for ‘Teen Mom 2’] it literally said, ‘We can spin anything we want so it makes sense to the audience or how we see fit.’ Where, with scripted, you know ahead of time.”

Lindsie— who stated that she would “never participate in a scripted reality TV show ever again”— clarified to Kail that she still wouldn’t have control of the show’s editing, even if it was a “scripted” series.

“But I guess it would be less-focused on super deep and personal things,” Kail argued. “…it’s not sitting on a couch talking about baby daddies, because I’m— I make jokes about it but I hated filming about it.”

I’m sorry but the Kail/Javi Wawa bangfest was peak reality TV in my opinion and will never be topped…

Kail and Lindsie then talked about how reality TV has changed in recent years from “raw” shows like ‘Teen Mom’ to more polished and structured series.

“It’s interesting to me the shift in reality TV now,” Kail said. “I don’t think things are— none of it was manufactured. It’s hard because I want to be careful about my words. When we filmed ‘Teen Mom,’ you could roll out of bed and film. There was no glam. There was not hair and makeup. There was nothing.”

She ain’t lyin’… #NeverForget

“It was real and raw,” Kail continued. “Yes, there were certain things that we knew we had to film about, or we knew we had to talk about, but now I feel like the shows that are most-successful are the ones that are in full hair and makeup– ‘Secret Lives [of Mormon Wives], Kardashians. Even ‘Chrisley Knows Best,’ you guys weren’t rolling out of bed and filming with your hair on top of your head in a f**king sloppy bun and in depression like I was.”

“Who said we even had to roll outta bed?! A rill woman can do her filming FROM bed!”

“There were plenty of seasons where I looked like a whole f**king slob kabob and nobody cared; I still had the same audience,” Kail said. “Now, I think people are so obsessed with glitz and glam and fame, and I think social media has a lot to do with that. So that’s what’s appealing to everyone. Everyone wants what’s not attainable to them. So that is what people are watching.

“They wouldn’t watch something like ‘Teen Mom’ today, where you’re rolling out of bed and it’s not glam and we’re, you know, trashy.”

“Who you callin’ trashy? I know I looked good!”

Kail stated that she would be willing to appear on another show that had an ensemble cast of girls– but prefers that she is still in control.

“I’d love to have a KILLR Network show,” Kail said, stating that she’d want a show about all the women who do podcasts within her podcasting network.

The only thing that sounds more boring than a reality show about Kail’s podcasting network…

  1. Everyone thinks their kids are funny. And most of her kids are far too young to consent. She needs to stop chasing fame and encourage her kids to excel in their hobbies and focus on ensuring successful futures by way of education. She’s so out of touch and thinks she has Kardashian money/fame. Who were already rich to begin with.

  2. You know what? Hell yeah. Let’s add more dysfunction to the terrible family dynamics you and all the fathers of your children have created for a bunch of innocent kids. They definitely could use some more exploitation 🙄

  3. Be so FKN for real right now 😂 she is not that interesting. Her kids are not that interesting. If she feels like she wants the world to see her kids, she can put them up on TikTok or YouTube like every other weird ass vlog mom
