The Mama June family drama continues and, over the weekend, nearly every member of June Shannon‘s family (both past and present) was ranting on social media, including her ex-son-in-law, Josh Efird, who made it clear in one of his Lives that he has no use for June, and would even celebrate if she died.
As The Ashley previously reported, June & Co. continue to react to the fallout from Friday’s shocking Mama June: Family Crisis season finale. During the episode, Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon dropped the bombshell that her ex-husband Josh had slept with her sister Jessica as well as Jessica’s now-wife Shyann McCant, in an attempt to “get back” at Pumpkin for cheating on him with his cousin Darrin Kitchens.
Yee. And also…Haw.
While Josh doesn’t often put his mug on TikTok Live, he hit up the platform on Saturday to dispute some of things being said about him on social media by June, Pumpkin and other members of the family. He denied sleeping with Jessica (as both June and Pumpkin have stated), and claimed he only had sex with Shyann– and only for the purpose of impregnating her so she and Jessica could have a baby.
“I didn’t sleep with Jessica! I can tell you that,” Josh said. “So there’s one lie from June that was definitely wrong. That didn’t happen!”
He then aimed his anger at June, whom he claimed has been telling lies about him on the show and social media for years.
“I hate June’s guts so much that if she died tomorrow, I’d probably throw a godd**n party!” Josh said. “Sorry!”
“…I’ve bitten my tongue for way too damn long,” Josh said, before addressing June directly. “You’ve consistently bashed me. You’ve consistently f**king put out what you think is personal business of mine. You consistently say ignorant s**t about me every time you’re Live. If you hate me that much, and I bother you that much, then I can give you my address and you could come here and tell me to my face! You’ve had plenty of opportunities to tell me to my face, but you’re too f**king scared and that’s cool.”
While Josh made it clear that he has no love for June, he did state that he still likes her husband, Justin Stroud, despite all that’s been going on lately.
“I still like Justin!” Josh said. “I don’t give a s**t if he’s mad at me or not. He’s probably been the best guy [of June’s] who’s ever come along, whether he was there in the beginning for the money or not. Who really knows?”
Josh went on to say that he didn’t even know what was said on the episode that aired, as he has never watched ‘Mama June.’
“I was on there for six seasons and never watched an episode!” he said. “As long as they paid me my money, that was what I was with. That was a job, dude. I didn’t give a s**t about none of that.”
As The Ashley previously reported, June claimed on social media last week that Josh was doing drugs with her and her ex Geno Doak years ago. She stated that Josh’s alleged history of drug use had gone unnoticed because “he was being protected.” According to June, she has been holding back this information about her former son-in-law “for 10 g**damn years.”
“ … I’ll tell you like this, there was s**t that I was doing seven years ago that Joshua Efird was doing, but it wasn’t talked about because he was being protected– not by Pumpkin, not by anybody else, ‘cause Pumpkin was over and done with it.”
She went on to hint that Josh once had drug dealers after him (but bragged that her drug debts were always paid…as you do). June also claimed that she found out about Josh’s alleged drug use from Geno, who told her after going on a trip with Josh.
Josh did not address June’s claims about his drug use in the Live.
