The fallout from last week’s shocking Mama June: Family Crisis season finale continued over the weekend, with Mama June Shannon and nearly her entire family bringing their drama online to create a social media showdown. On Saturday, Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon posted a juicy two-part video regarding her ex-husband Josh Efird‘s hookup with her sister Jessica Shannon and Jessica’s now-wife, Shyann McCant!

As The Ashley previously reported, the ‘Mama June’ season finale aired last week, during which Pumpkin made the jaw-dropping on-camera revelation that Josh had a threesome with Jessica and Shyann on the day he found out that Pumpkin had been cheating on him with his cousin Darrin Kitchens.

In her video posted to Facebook, Pumpkin spilled all the tea on the Jessica/Shyann/Josh threesome, including revealing how she actually found out about their humpfest. Pumpkin also provided a timeline of when she got with her now-boyfriend Darrin Kitchens, admitting that she did, in fact, cheat on Josh with Darrin.

The Ashley is going to attempt to breakdown all of the social media shenanigans and hick-tastic revelations made in the video by Pumpkin.

Pumpkin gave her followers all the details on Josh going to Pound Town with Shyann (and possibly Jessica). While Shyann has maintained that she only had sex with Josh in order to have him impregnate her, Pumpkin stated that she believes there was more to the hookup than that.

“I’m gonna give y’all the timeline, whether you believe it or not, I know what my truth is,” she began. “I’ve owned up to accusations made against me, all of the things, OK? We have taken what we call ‘accountability,’ OK?”

Pumpkin went on to admit that she was “fooling around with Darrin” at the end of her marriage to Josh. However, she claimed this happened after she had informed Josh that she was not in love with him anymore and wanted a divorce. 

“I had been told him that, but he continued to try, try, try [to stay together],” Pumpkin said.

(And no, that’s not a typo…she did say that she ‘had been told him that.’)

Pumpkin stated that she wanted a divorce in May 2024, but Josh didn’t agree until July, when he found out that Pumpkin was, um, “talking” to Darrin. They filed for divorce in August 2024, and the divorce was finalized by September 23, 2024.

Pumpkin told the tale about how in July 2024, Jessica and Shyann “snitched” on her to Josh and revealed that she was bumping uglies with Darrin. She stated that was the same night that Josh, Shyann and Jessica decided to have their threesome.

Pumpkin claimed that, on that fateful night, she was out of town and got a call from Josh, who informed her he was hanging out at Jessica’s house.

“I had already thought that was weird, just because I already don’t have a super-close relationship with Jessie,” Pumpkin said. “That’s just from prior things I don’t agree with…so it was just a red flag to me that he was kind of just even over there without me.”

Pumpkin stated she got a second call that night from Josh, but this time he was livid (presumably because Jessie and Shyann had informed him that Pumpkin was bopping his cousin). 

“I don’t really know what happened specifically at Jessie’s house. I just know that someone else that was there let me in on what actually went down over there,” she said. “So the entire time they were snitching on me, they were insinuating a ‘get back’ threesome.”

As you do…

Pumpkin went on to explain that her biological sister Jessica having sexual relations with her then-husband is worse than her messing with Darrin, since Darrin is not biologically related to Josh.

“Even for your ‘get-back,’ you had to go as low as my sister!” she said. “…for the last two-and-a-half years, I have been drug through the mud as this cheatin’, lyin’ conniving f**king whore, and I haven’t been the only one who done wrong. I cheated a couple of times in my marriage. News flash: so did Josh.”

Pumpkin then revealed that she found out about Josh’s threesome via a disgruntled friend of Josh’s. This was backed up by something Alana Thompson stated in a TikTok Live she did with June’s husband Justin Stroud over the weekend. Alana and Justin claimed that the “little birdy” who informed Pumpkin of the Josh/Shyann/Jessica threesome was someone who was angry at Josh and wanted to get revenge. 

“The little birdy said, ‘You’re going to do me wrong, so I’m gonna do you wrong and tell your wife what you did,'” Alana said, before denying she was the “birdy.” 

“It was not me, y’all! Because you should have seen my face when I truly found out!” she said. 

Anyway, in the second part of her Facebook video, Pumpkin admitted that she doesn’t know for sure if Jessica had sex with Josh too; however, she claims that Josh, um…did sexual things to Jessica’s, um, northern region. Because of this, Pumpkin says she believes that Jessica also slept with Josh.

She went on to say that she will continue to coparent with Josh, but only because she has no other choice. Pumpkin also revealed that she will stay in touch with Jessica and Shyann, but only because her four kids love them.

“If me and Josh didn’t have kids together, I would wash my hands clean of him,” Pumpkin said. “Not being ugly but I truly would because the disrespect has gone too far. Jessie, if I didn’t have kids, I would wash my hands of her. But my kids do love her and do love Shyann…”

“I’m adult enough to still allow my kids to have a relationship with them, even though I don’t f**k with them,” she added. 

While on Live over the weekend, Alana and Justin acknowledged that it wasn’t right that Pumpkin was boinking Darrin, who was Josh’s cousin by marriage. However, they felt Josh committed a bigger betrayal by hooking up with Jessica, who was his former sister-in-law.

“You shouldn’t just F your ex-husband’s cousin, but you should never F your ex-sister-in-law,” Alana said, before adding that she believes both of her sisters were not right for what they did.
