Kendra Duggar Is Selling Arkansas Home She & Husband Joe Allegedly Evicted Her Parents from Following Joe’s Arrest For Child Molestation

Kendra and Joe with Kendra’s parents (aka their former tenants) in happier times…

Kendra Duggar is looking to unload the Arkansas home she and husband Joseph own– and allegedly evicted her estranged parents from recently– following the former “19 Kids and Counting” star’s arrest for child molestation.

According to People, the 1,738 sq. ft. Siloam Springs home hit the market last week with an asking price of $407,900. While the house sits on a property that contains other homes owned by Joe and Kendra that are rented out for short-term stays, the particular home that is being sold is the residence where Kendra’s parents, Paul and Christina Caldwell, had been living with their minor children since 2021 before being evicted shortly after Joe’s arrest in March of this year.

Raise your hand if you booted your parents onto the street and have absolutely no regrets about doing so…

As you know, Joe was arrested after a 14-year-old girl disclosed in a forensic interview several sexual abuse incidents involving Joe, which allegedly occurred during a 2020 vacation in Florida when the victim was nine years old. The 31-year-old father of four is facing two counts of lewd and lascivious behavior in Florida. He has pleaded not guilty and is currently out of jail on a $600,000 bond.

Shortly after Joe’s arrest, unrelated charges were filed in Arkansas against both he and Kendra, with each receiving four counts of false imprisonment and endangering the welfare of a child; both have pleaded not guilty to the alleged crimes.

As The Ashley reported last month, Kendra– who has been leaning on Joe’s parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, following her and Joe’s arrests– remains on the outs with her own parents and is not in communication with her family at this time.

In April, Amy Paul– a close friend of the Caldwells– publicly implied that Joe’s alleged victim is a member of the Caldwell family and a motion filed in court by Joe the following month pretty much confirmed it. Meanwhile, Amy also claimed that Paul and Christina were kicked to the curb by the Duggars for turning Joe in to police for his alleged crimes.

As a result of the allegedly unexpected eviction, the Caldwells launched a GoFundMe in April to raise money for “legal fees and [to] secure safe housing.”

In a fundraiser update posted at the end of April, Kendra’s dad assured donors that any money raised for his family would “not help anyone who would harm children” (obviously implying Joe— and possibly Kendra). He went on to suggest that his family’s displacement was a direct result of their decision to speak up about Joe’s alleged crimes. (It was reported by police in Florida that Joe actually confessed to the crimes when approached by the victim’s father in March.)

“We are willing to stand for the protection of the weak and vulnerable in society, because of that stand we have been put in a situation that has cause[d] the [loss] of our current housing situation and employment, having to relocate on such short notice has left us in a bit of a financial struggle,” he wrote. “We also need some time to get some much-needed counseling.”

“It’s says, ‘Get the F out, Ma and Pa!'”

At this time, the Caldwell Family’s GoFundMe has raised more than $36,000.

While the home previously occupied by the Caldwells was only listed by Kendra last week, she and Joe discussed the fate of the residence during a jail phone call on March 25. During the conversation, Joe suggested that Kendra sell the property and potentially use the profit to build another home.

In another jail phone call, Joe told Kendra that the Caldwells needed to vacate the home, with Kendra assuring him that her family would be out of the home in a month. Kendra also insisted during the conversation that Joe’s parents were “going to hold them to it.”

According to Realtor.com, the listing for the Arkansas home describes the residence as a place to “escape to the peace and privacy of country living without sacrificing convenience.”

The listing goes on to note the property’s “beautiful surroundings” and the fact that it is “just a short drive from everything Northwest Arkansas has to offer.”

Part of what ‘Northwest Arkansas has to offer’…

The home features a chef’s kitchen, a walk-in closet, a master bathroom with a large soaking tub and glass-enclosed shower.”
