‘Age Inappropriate,’ a new reality series coming to WeTV next month, promises to give viewers an inside look at the world of extreme age-gap relationships and all of the challenges and complexities that come with it.
While the five couples set to appear on ‘Age Inappropriate’ insist that age is just a number, their friends, families, finances and lifestyles don’t always agree.
“‘Age Inappropriate’ dives into the complicated, controversial world of extreme age-gap relationships, following couples at wildly different life stages as they fight to prove their love is real,” the synopsis for the new series reads.

Meet the cast of ‘Age Inappropriate’ below:
Dr. Eric & Tynisha: 41-Year Age Gap
After three years of marriage, 74-year-old Dr. Eric and 33-year-old Tynisha are finally starting to feel their 41-year-old age gap, according to Vital Thrills. As the New Orleans couple focuses on building their dream home together, the cracks begin to surface more as Tynisha’s name is nowhere to be found on the house deed– or in her husband’s will.
Will Dr. Eric learn to trust his wife enough to let her in, or will Tynisha accept her husband’s terms, despite continuing to feel like she isn’t an equal partner in their relationship?
Kent & Jay-Anne: 31-Year Age Gap
Kent is a 60-year-old “wealthy Passport Bro” who lives with his wife, 29-year-old Jay-Anne, and their three young children in Honolulu. In addition to the complications that Kent and Jay-Anne’s 31-year age gap presents, the couple also faces deep cultural divides.
Prior to tying the knot, Kent promised Jay-Anne regular visits to her home in the Philippines, though his promise has gone unfulfilled. On ‘Age Inappropriate,’ viewers will watch as Jay-Anne tries to find her independence while Kent keeps a watchful eye on the family’s finances.
Vic & Caroline: 26-Year Age Gap
Vic is a 50-year-old serial age-gap dater and self-proclaimed “playboy” whose past divorce has left him weary of committed relationships. While his 24-year-old girlfriend Caroline seems like the perfect match due to her easygoing personality, Caroline is beginning to think about a future with Vic and is hoping that they can build a life together.
Unfortunately for Caroline, Vic has yet to part ways with his independent lifestyle, leaving Caroline feeling increasingly isolated.
Janet & Drew: 20-Year Age Gap
Janet, 60, is a nightlife mogul and “Atlanta celebrity” whose husband, 40-year-old Drew, works as her part-time assistant, part-time bodyguard and full-time trophy husband. While Janet encourages her much-younger man to find his own identity, her friends and family continue to wonder why Janet chooses to be with a man with limited prospects when she is so successful herself.

On ‘Age Inappropriate,’ fans will watch as Janet and Drew try to make the changes the other needs in order to keep their highly criticized age-gap relationship intact.
Brooke & Kai: 19-Year Age Gap
Brooke, 47, and Kai, 28, became engaged within just two months of dating after bonding over shared trauma from their past. The Tampa twosome is now making up for lost time and embracing a “pleasure-seeking lifestyle,” even becoming full-time OnlyFans creators.

When they’re not having fun and living life to the fullest, Brooke and Kai face criticism from their loved ones, who question if the pair’s relationship is healthy… and question Kai’s ability to be a stepfather to Brooke’s children, who happen to be closer to his age than Brooke is herself.
‘Age Inappropriate’ premieres August 7 on WeTV, with episodes also streaming the same day on All Reality.
