Kail Lowry and Lindsie Chrisley are being called out by Lindsie’s estranged sister Savannah Chrisley for alleging that their relationship with their former podcast producer and assistant, Kristen Hook, soured after they learned she was “working with Lindsie’s parents” behind their backs.
The Coffee Convos podcast co-hosts finally addressed the subject of Kristen’s departure (as well as Lindsie’s recent hiatus) this week after months of speculation (and criticism) from their listeners. That speculation has only grown since the co-hosts claimed in March that they could not yet talk about the situation with Kristen, but insisted the reason behind her exit went “deeper” than the medical reasons they all initially gave to explain Kristen’s departure.
On Thursday’s episode, Kail told listeners that people close to her began to question Kristen’s “behaviors” and “decisions,” prompting Kail to start digging into Kristen’s work habits. Kail stated that she fired off an email to Kristen on January 16, asking that she clarify a few things. While she never received a response to her email, Kail said that three days later, Kristen sent her, Lindsie, and the Coffee Convos email account her letter of resignation.
(Kail noted that Lindsie wasn’t CC’d on the original email she sent to Kristen on January 16, as the questions she had for Kristen were “personal to [Kail]” and did not involve Lindsie.)
At some point– presumably while she was “digging”– Kail claimed she “discovered that [Kristen] was working with Lindsie’s parents.” (As fans know, Lindsie is estranged from her dad Todd Chrisley and stepmom Julie.)
According to Kail, Kristen’s collaborations with Todd and Julie were happening behind her and Lindsie’s backs.
“ … if that tells you any type of betrayal on the friendship part, but also on the business part, because what do you mean you’re using hours that we pay you for– either personally for our individual brands or Coffee Convos podcast– but you’re emailing Lindsie’s parents?” Kail said, before going on to clarify that Kristen was emailing on business hours to assist Lindsie’s parents and was not emailing them directly.
In response to a clip from Thursday’s episode posted by @breakingtherulespodclips on Instagram, Savannah took to the comments to “set the record straight,” claiming that the email referenced on Coffee Convos was one that Kristen allegedly sent to a Meta representative in May 2025 on behalf of Savannah’s mom (and Lindsie’s stepmom), Julie.
“ … my publicist asked if [Kristen] could help us get in touch with someone at Meta,” Savannah claimed. “My mom had lost access to her Instagram account after being in prison for nearly 2.5 years, and we were simply trying to regain access.”
Savannah went on to insist that this exchange was “the only communication that took place” and that her parents “were never in contact with Kristen,” nor have there been emails exchanged between the two parties.
“My publicist reached out to a professional colleague for assistance with a Meta contact… nothing more, nothing less,” Savannah added. “Any suggestion otherwise is simply false. Facts matter, and it’s important that false narratives stop being presented as truth.”
While Kail didn’t respond to Savannah’s comment directly, she did respond to a number of other comments on the post, including one from a fan who pointed out that she still follows the Chrisleys on social media and hasn’t given them the unfollow/block treatment she’s given Kristen.
“It’s not Todd and Julie’s fault,” Kail responded.
In other replies on the post, Kail claimed to have receipts to back her and Lindsie’s claims and told fans that Kristen “did not” sign an NDA.
While Kristen has yet to address Kail and Lindsie’s comments, many podcast fans have been taking to the comment section on her latest Instagram post to slam her for her alleged actions.
“So are we going to get your side of things? Or did you really just do our girls Kail and Lindsie that way 😭😭😭,” one person wrote on Kristen’s post, with another asking, “What were you working on [with] the Chrisleys???”
“I am so so sad,” another commented. “And so disappointed.”

All of these people need to touch grass.
In typical Kail fashion Kristen was no longer useful to her so she was sent on her way as Kail does with everyone who doesn’t do exactly as she wants
