After a long week of tests, legal issues and a very scary medical emergency for their daughter Hannah, “90 Day Fiance” stars Armando Rubio and Kenny Niedermeier finally have some good news to report.
“My heart is so full to let you guys know that Hannah has been released from the hospital, which is the best news we could have right now,” Armando said.
“We are so over the moon,” Kenny added. “Hannah’s very happy to be leaving the hospital. Ever since Armando got here…she has just gotten better and better, by leaps and bounds. The doctors were so happy with her progress that they said, ‘Now, I think she will do better with you guys in a home setting.'”

As The Ashley previously reported, 13-year-old Hannah began experiencing strange symptoms, including facial droop and partial body weakness last week. Hannah was first taken to a doctor in Mexico— where she, Armando and Kenny live– but her condition was deemed serious enough for her to eventually be airlifted to a Phoenix, Arizona, where it was discovered she had suffered a brain bleed.
While Hannah has permanent resident status in the United States and Kenny is a citizen, Armando–who does not have his green card– was denied entry into the U.S., causing him to plead with authorities for an emergency visa to be with his daughter. Days after making a public plea to Department of Homeland Security, Armando was finally granted a temporary visa to enter the U.S. and joined Kenny, as well as his mom and sister.

“She’s going to be under a lot of supervision over the next month, where she has to stay in the Phoenix area [because] she has to do a lot of scans,” Kenny continued. “She’s on an anti-seizure medication, among other things, to keep this in check and make sure nothing is going wrong. But right now, they have everything under control, although they still have no clue as to why it happened, which is very frustrating.”
Armando stated that Hannah still has no diagnosis, which he finds “unsettling” because he’s unsure of what could happen in the future.
Kenny added that Hannah is now experiencing “almost blindness” in part of her eye and still has some minor drooping of her face and weakness. Because of this, Hannah will need to go to rehab to get stronger and strengthen the muscles in her face.
“This was really one of the most scariest moments of both of our lives,” Kenny said, explaining that when Hannah was airlifted from Yuma, Arizona, to the ICU in Phoenix, it was a “very touch-and-go situation and very critical moment” for her.
Kenny and Armando stated that, although Hannah must stay in Arizona for a while, Armando’s emergency visa ends Sunday, so he will be going back to Mexico. However, Kenny will be staying with Hannah.

“I’m not happy because I want to be there, both of us, for rehab and she needs more MRIs,” Armando said. “I can’t be here for it but lawyers are working on it.”
(Armando’s lawyer Kelsey Zubkoff commented on the post, writing, “We’re not going to stop working on it to keep you by her side.”)
In the second part of the video, Armando and Kenny thanked the “90 Day Fiance” fans and their supporters for making it possible to get Armando to the United States to be with Hannah.

“This would not have happened– where he was able to come to the States– if it weren’t for you guys fighting for us and calling congresspeople, lawmakers, tagging senators to get this out there where it made national and global news,” Kenny said. “That’s why I guess we had to put things out there, because we needed attention on this to get Armando here because [he] is Hannah’s best medicine.
“…Me being here did change and help her a lot, so it was a blessing to be able to cross that border and be at my baby’s bedside,” Armando added.
They also thanked their “90 Day Fiance” franchise co-stars for all of their donations and support.
“They really came [through] for us, posting about us, bringing attention to this matter,” Kenny said. “It was very important. This was the most-important thing that ever has happened in our lives, getting Armando here. And it worked. It shows you that love and prayers and support and kindness and community really make things happen.”
As The Ashley previously reported, a GoFundMe that was started for Hannah last week (and shared by many “90 Day” stars) has now reached over $172,000, something Armando called “humbling” in the video.
“I will be eternally grateful for that,” he added.
Next, Armando thanked Kenny— who flew immediately to be with Hannah in Arizona when Armando couldn’t.

“He did what he could to be there for Hannah. He was the dad,” Armando said tearfully. “This is why I married him, because I knew he was an amazing dad. That’s when I fell in love with him, and he proved it. He proved it this last week, why I made the best decision of my life. Why he’s my best friend; why he’s the love of my life. He’s an amazing father to Hannah…in my absence, he stood up.”
“He doesn’t need to thank me because this is my job,” Kenny responded. “I love that little girl more than anybody can say and I love him more than anybody can say. And we love all of you guys.”

In the comment section of the post, plenty of “90 Day” cast members sent their love to Hannah, Armando and Kenny.
“What a blessing!” wrote Veronica Rodriguez. “God is good! Praying you’ll have some better answers soon!”
“Crying happy tears for y’all,” commented Kimberly Menzies.
“Happy you were able to get to the states to Hannah,” wrote Jenny Slatton. “Now we have a battle of our own to fight. God bless you guys and our prayers are still with Hannah, I hope there’s a diagnosis soon.”
