Armando Rubio of 90 Day Fiancé made an urgent plea to fans on social media Tuesday before going on to reveal that his 13-year-old daughter Hannah was airlifted to an Arizona hospital after suffering a terrifying medical emergency.
Late Tuesday night, Armando– who lives in Mexico with his daughter and husband, Kenny Niedermeier– took to Instagram with an “urgent matter,” before asking if any of his followers knew someone that worked at a Mexican embassy/consulate who could help him secure a medical emergency travel visa. In the caption of his post, Armando extended his efforts to include those with connections to U.S. Customs and Border Protection “at any Baja California [U.S.] border.”
In the comment section, a fan provided information as to how Armando– who is not a U.S. citizen– could obtain the visa he was seeking, and Armando went on to tell the fan that their advice had been successful, while also revealing that the individual experiencing the medical emergency was Hannah.
“ … hospital has just done it,” he wrote, referring to a letter he allegedly needed in order to travel across the border. “I am 2 hours away from [the] border. On the road now! Prayers for my Hannah who is currently being airlifted to [Phoenix, Arizona].”
On Wednesday, Armando returned to social media to provide an update on the situation and thank those who had shared kind words and prayers for Hannah. In his post, Armando went on to explain that while he went to the border to find out if he could obtain a Humanitarian visa, he was informed that, as of two years ago, they are no longer granted at ports of entry.
“So that plan failed,” he said, before going on to explain what exactly had occurred with Hannah’s health. He began by telling fans that he was at his shop when he received a call from Hannah, who was at his parents’ house at the time.
“ … she said she wasn’t feeling good, she was crying, [so] I went over [to my parents’ house and] noticed that her face was droopy, half of her face and her lips and stuff, and half of her body had no strength,” he said.
Armando “immediately” took Hannah to the doctor, where she underwent a series of tests that showed her “levels were normal.” Armando said given Hannah’s symptoms, the doctor knew the teen was experiencing some sort of neurological issue, which the doctor found “strange,” considering Hannah’s age and the fact that she wasn’t experiencing high blood pressure.
“She suggested we transport [Hannah] somewhere else because, unfortunately, we do live in a small town and they don’t have the equipment, the scans and all that stuff, so we had to transport her somewhere else,” he said.
Armando said it was ultimately decided that Hannah should be transported to the U.S. to receive care, with his mother traveling across the border with the teen, as Armando is unable to do so himself. (He noted that Kenny is currently in Ohio, but will be flying to Phoenix in the morning to be with Hannah.)
Armando also shared with fans that after Hannah arrived via ambulance to a hospital in Yuma, Arizona, doctors did scans where they found bleeding in Hannah’s brain; however, he said they still “don’t understand it fully.” As a result, Hannah went on to be airlifted to Phoenix to an intensive care unit (ICU) so she could undergo further testing.
“As of now, I don’t have more answers,” he said. “They’re still doing tests on her. And Kenny’s flying first thing in the morning there, but unfortunately, I can’t be there, which is the hardest part of it all– not of it all, but just a hard part … .”
Armando concluded his update by telling fans he would share more details as soon as he could and, again, thanking followers for their support and prayers.
Hours after his update video, Armando posted footage to his Instagram Story of Hannah being airlifted from Yuma to Phoenix, which he captioned, “My baby girl.”
“Please send healing vibes her way,” he added.

I mean no snark because I truly wish this family and especially this little girl the best .. but holy shit if this was my reality, the last thing I would be doing is waiting around to film my child getting airlifted to post to social media. It would literally be the last thing on my mind. Sorry.
I’m would 100% be posting on social media. He may get some attention from higher level officials who could assist with a visa.
Well he couldn’t go with her, so what else was he supposed to do?

I can’t imagine Armando who is a loving and devoted father not being allowed to be there. That’s horrible. He should be allowed to get an emergency visa. What if Kenny wasn’t in the states right now? What if Armando’s mom wasn’t there? Would they just airlift a frightened kid with bleeding on her brain and admit her to intensive care with no one? I am afraid the answer would be yes.😔

This had nothing to do with Pres. Trump. Visas are not handed out like that and this “specific Visa” expired over 2 years ago and who was still in office, Olè Sleep Joe Biden!! I would suggest you seek help since you have TDS really bad. I’ve sent a message to Armando to write to Pres. Trump asking for help like I have to getting him to Hannah. Maybe you could do the same but apparently your HATE is too great to ask him. JS
They are ending innocent immigrant’s lives in the streets of America. Even if you didn’t have a political affiliation, this is what’s happening NOW. There’s no help coming directly through this admin. Writing a letter to the billionaire in chief won’t solve this issue unless he’s planning on picking him up in his Qatar jet.
I read that Armando previously overstayed on a visa before, so if true- it makes sense why he’s being denied repeatedly (even though he seems like a wonderful guy). Let’s all just agree that we hope this wonderful family has peace and that Hannah makes a full recovery.
Trump is not interested in helping. So please don’t think in a million years that a letter will even cross his desk.
