Armando Rubio of “90 Day Fiancé” gave fans an emotional update on Thursday regarding his daughter Hannah’s current medical crisis.
The update comes one day 13-year-old Hannah was airlifted to an Arizona hospital, after reportedly suffering a brain bleed. Unfortunately, Armando remains in Mexico, after being denied entry at the United States-Mexico border. Over the past 24 hours, “90 Day Fiance” fans and alum have donated over $106,000 to a GoFundMe set up to help Armando and Hannah.
As The Ashley previously told you, Armando shared on social media this week that Hannah was taken to a doctor in Mexico– where Hannah, Armando and Armando’s husband, Kenny Niedermeier live– after her face mysteriously became “droopy” and “half of her body had no strength.” Doctors recommended that Hannah be taken to a hospital in Yuma, Arizona, where it was discovered that she had a brain bleed. The teen was then airlifted to a hospital in Phoenix, where she remains in the intensive care unit.
After telling fans Wednesday on social media that he was seeking a medical emergency travel visa in order to cross the U.S.-Mexico border to join Hannah, Armando later revealed that he was denied entry, as the type of visa he was seeking is no longer granted at ports of entry. While he was unable to travel with Hannah himself, Armando’s mother went with her, and Kenny has since traveled to Phoenix to be with her as well.
On Thursday, an emotional Armando shared an update about Hannah’s health on Instagram, telling fans that Hannah’s MRI results “gave no answers” as to what is causing her symptoms and that she will need further testing, which will likely have to be done while she’s under anesthesia.
“ … I miss my baby girl,” Armando said through tears, while visibly shaking. “I don’t want to lose her. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers, guys. Please … .”
Armando also acknowledged the GoFundMe that was launched by a friend of his and Kenny’s this week to help support Hannah’s mounting medical costs.
“Thank you all that have supported [us] on the GoFundMe and everything, all the love that’s come in our way,” he said. “I can’t thank any of you enough. You guys all have been angels through this and made it a little easier, even though I can’t be with her … .”
Armando had posted a link to the GoFundMe on Wednesday, while admitting to fans that he was “embarrassed to ask for help.”
“ … I tried to say no, but our close friend Toni who has been a supportive angel, reminded me that it’s okay to lean on the people who care,” he wrote on his Instagram Story. “If you’re able to donate, it would mean the world to us. Medical bills are piling up, and every little bit truly helps. If you’re not able to donate, even sharing this would mean so much. Please only do what you can. Thank you for your love, prayers and support.”
After arriving in Phoenix, Kenny posted a photo of himself and Hannah from the hospital, telling fans, “Hannah told me to tell you all, thank you for all the love she is receiving from all of you.”
“ … she is truly touched and shocked by it all,” Kenny wrote. “It means the world to all of us!”
“My loves, I need you, our family together,” Armando commented on Kenny’s post.
Armando had stated in an earlier update that was posted on Thursday that, while he’s still unable to travel to the U.S. at this time, he has an immigration attorney “who is on it” and is currently exploring other options that may allow him to be with his daughter.
“ … I know she needs me, and I need her,” he said.

I think it’s disgusting that there is not a way to simplify getting a father to his daughter when her life is on the line. I pray for their family that he is able to get to her soon.
I feel horrible for him. I can’t even imagine what it is like for something so serious to be happening to your baby (let’s face it they will always be your baby no matter how old they are) and you can’t even be there.
Not to mention the fact that a cerebral angiogram is scary. I truly hope they find the answers to Hannah’s brain bleed through that test.
