Noah Brown is speaking out after his estranged wife Rhain was granted a temporary civil protection order against him. Rhain was granted the restraining order after claiming that the ‘Alaskan Bush People’ star physically and sexually abused her, in addition to psychologically manipulating her for years.
As The Ashley previously reported, Noah revealed in November 2025 that Rhain officially filed to end their marriage and that Rhain’s new boyfriend had been the one to serve him with the divorce papers. The news of their divorce came 10 months after the exes shared in a (truly bizarre) TikTok video that they were separating after six years of marriage and two children.
At this time, the couple’s divorce has not been finalized. There has, however, been some updates to their contentious situation.
According to Us Weekly, in a petition filed last month, Rhain accused Noah of subjecting her to years of abuse, manipulation and coercive control during their marriage. She also claimed that Noah’s recent behavior has become increasingly intimidating, citing an August 1 confrontation at her home in which Noah (joined by his girlfriend and two siblings) allegedly attempted to steal a trailer and threatened her boyfriend with a tire iron.
Rhain stated in her petition that, while she has “suffered at the hand of [her] husband for years,” she wasn’t able to come forward until now.
“Noah Brown has not only physically abused me and sexually abused me, but has committed years of unchecked psychological manipulation and coercive control at the most extreme levels,” she wrote.
While recalling the alleged incident from August, Rhain claimed in her petition that she was “extremely afraid” for her safety, as well as for the safety of her and Noah’s two sons, insisting that she believes Noah “would’ve gotten physically aggressive if he had not seen that [she] was on a call with the police.”
She also claimed to be “terrified” for her boyfriend’s life amid the altercation, due to Noah allegedly brandishing a weapon later identified as a tire iron.
“This incident shows a complete breakdown and invasion of personal safety,” she alleged. “It shows all the lines he’s willing to cross just to get what he wants. It shows all the ways he’s willing to ignore the law, ignore my right to a peaceful home, and put his own children in harm’s way. It shows [his] complete disregard for my autonomy, exactly like how he used to treat me while we were married.”
To that point, Rhain went on to allege in her petition that Noah raped her during their marriage. While she did not report these alleged incident(s), she claimed to have sought medical treatment in September 2024– just before her and Noah separated– due to pain and concerning symptoms she attributed to the “violent” and “unwanted nature” of her and Noah’s intimate relationship.
“ … for my safety, because of the situation I was in at home, I did not report this as rape, but it was,” she claimed. “I was seen three days later for an ultrasound to rule out any other causes, none were found.”

Rhain also alleged that during her marriage, she was not allowed to go to doctor’s appointments without Noah’s permission, and that any medical professional she saw had to be a woman. In the event that she went to medical appointments alone, she would be “berated and barraged with accusations of infidelity” from Noah. Rhain claimed that these “fear-causing events” ultimately led her to stop receiving medical care unless Noah could accompany her to appointments.
While Rhain’s temporary civil protection order was granted on the same day that she filed, she informed the court that she was fearful that Noah would “retaliate.” (Per the order, Noah must stay 1000 feet away from Rhain and the couple’s children except during exchanges and following parenting plan guidelines.)
Due to her fear of Noah’s reaction to the order, Rhain– who, according to Us Weekly, was pregnant with her third child and nearing her due date when she filed her petition– asked the court if there was somewhere safe she could go in the event that either Noah or his followers retaliated.
Meanwhile, Noah is denying the allegations made against him, calling the claims “false.”
“I categorically deny the allegations,” Noah stated in a September 18 court filing, according to @rei_clarke.
Noah went on to claim in his declaration that Rhain filed her petition after he objected to her request to relocate with their sons to a city more than 400 miles away. He also noted that Rhain’s petition came just days before their scheduled divorce mediation.
As for the alleged August incident, Noah insisted that his and Rhain’s attorneys were made aware that he was going to Rhain’s house to retrieve the trailer and he denied brandishing a weapon while there.
“I did not have a weapon, I did not have a tire iron,” he reportedly stated, while insisting that the only thing he did have in his hands at the time were his work gloves.
Regarding his family being present at the time of the alleged incident, Noah claimed that his family would sometimes accompany him during exchanges with Rhain due to past confrontations between himself and Rhain’s boyfriend, and because he “wanted witnesses.”
Earlier this week, Bear Brown took to social media to address the “horrible” and “bazaar” allegations being made against his brother. In his video, Bear told fans that, after living with the former couple “on multiple occasions for multiple months at a time,” he doesn’t believe Rhain’s claims.
“ … the things that she’s saying that Noah did to her and has done to her through their relationship is entirely false … she was always an abuser to him, always,” he claimed.
Bear went on to accuse Rhain of being “manipulative,” “abusive” and “just downright mean” to Noah. He also alleged that Rhain filed the order against Noah to “manipulate” their ongoing custody fight.
“Noah’s fighting as hard as he can for his kids, because what Noah cares about most in this world is his kids,” Bear said. “Right now, he’s scared of losing them … and [Rhain] will say and do anything that she can to try to manipulate the situation to try to control it, which is what she did their entire relationship.”
Rhain’s order against Noah is in place until the exes’ next court hearing, which is scheduled for September 22.
