“I snagged me another bearded fella, folks!”

‘Alaskan Bush People’ star Ami Brown has a new man in her life, nearly five years after the death of her husband, Billy Brown.

On Monday, the Brown Family matriarch returned to TikTok after a year and a half hiatus to officially introduce fans to her husband, Daniel “DJ” Frazier.

“Believe it or not, there IS someone in this family who’s not in the midst of a messy divorce!”

“Hello everyone, I know it’s been a long time since I’ve been on here– about a year and a half– but here I am,” Ami said. “A lot of things have transpired in this last year and a half … I want to introduce to you today, DJ, my Daniel, my husband.”

Ami’s husband proceeded to join her on-camera to introduce himself, while revealing that he and Ami met shortly after Ami stepped away from TikTok last year.

“I met this beautiful woman about a year and a couple months ago,” DJ said, to which Ami added, “Yes, and we’ve had a really good year and a few months. It’s been great … .”

As fans of ‘Alaskan Bush People’ know, Ami lost her husband, Brown Family patriarch Billy, in 2021. The husband and wife had been married for more than 40 years at the time of Billy’s death.

While this week marks the first time that Ami has formally introduced DJ to fans, it isn’t the first time he’s appeared alongside the mom of seven on social media. In fact, Ami posted a (partial) family photo to her Instagram back in January, in which she referred to DJ as “my husband” in the caption.

While Ami hasn’t revealed when exactly she and DJ tied the knot, fans may get the answer to that soon. This week, the former Discovery Channel star revealed that she and DJ “have a lot of things in store” to share online, including “a lot of good news and a lot of adventures.”

“ … I even have some videos of us from this past winter that I didn’t want to put on [social media] until you all were introduced to him,” Ami said. “I just didn’t wanna throw it on there until I was ready for a special time, and here we are.”

“Consider us hard-launched, y’all.”

In addition to couples content, Ami told fans that she will be sharing “some new health updates,” as well.

As you may recall, Ami was hospitalized back in February, during which she was diagnosed with both Covid and pneumonia. At one point during her hospitalization, Ami had to be placed on a breathing tube and into a medically induced coma to help her rest and breathe. (Ami previously battled Stage 3 lung cancer back in 2017. Although she was given only a 3 percent chance of survival at the time, she went on to beat the cancer and go into remission. However, her battle with the disease took a toll on her lungs.)

This week, Ami did share with fans that her health has been “great,” noting that she hasn’t been sick since her health episode in February.

Lastly, Ami promised fans that she will be sharing some general life updates soon, while noting that her daughter Rain Brown recently welcomed her first child (with estranged husband, Josiah Lorton), daughter Amethyst Grace.

Ami concluded her TikTok by telling fans that she and DJ plan to start going “Live” on the platform soon, as well.

“I’m sure you’re gonna love this guy just like I do,” she said.

It seems a little odd that the fact that her son committed suicide isn’t addressed before introducing her new man.
