Kail Lowry is crashing breaking back into the reality TV world with her new series, ‘Crashing Out with Kail,’ premiering next month on ShortVydz.
On Wednesday, the podcaster and former ‘Teen Mom 2’ star gave fans a first look at her upcoming online show, which promises to share with viewers “the chaos, the pressure, and everything that happens when the cameras should be off.”
“This is a s**t show,” Kail says in the ‘Crashing Out with Kail’ announcement– a remark that’s presumably not intended to describe her latest venture.
As the video goes on, the mom of seven is seen (via blink-and-you-miss-it clips) riding in vehicles, taking phone calls, getting emotional, parenting, podcasting, and posing the rhetorical question of, “Am I the drama?”
“Unfiltered, unhinged, pure chaos, pure Kail,” the on-screen text reads.
While little details are given about Kail’s show, viewers can expect to see some familiar faces in the new series. Kail’s friend and comedian Matt Mathews makes a brief appearance in the ‘Crashing Out with Kail’ announcement, as does Kail’s current boyfriend, Ike Knighton.
It appears that Kail’s KILLR Podcast Network will be a big focus in her new show– including her recent ‘Fatherless Behavior’ podcast tour– as her Karma & Chaos podcast co-host Becky Hayter pops up in the promo, along with her Coffee Convos co-host Lindsie Chrisley.
Eagle-eyed fans also spotted former ‘Teen Mom: The Next Chapter’ star Ashley Jones in the ‘Crashing Out with Kail’ promo, with Ashley going on to express her excitement about the project in the comments.
“Kailllll finally!” she wrote
As The Ashley previously told you, Kail revealed last month in an interview with The Sarah Fraser Show that ‘Crashing Out with Kail’ was coming soon. Kail shared at the time that the reality series would focus on her entrepreneurial endeavors, including the backend of her podcast tour.
“[It will cover] what it’s like working with everyone on the podcast network,” she told Sarah. “And so that’s going to be really fun.”
Last month, Kail revealed that no television network had picked up her show yet, though she remained open to offers. She did, however, predict that Disney-owned Hulu wouldn’t be knocking at her door as she doesn’t believe she’s “wholesome” enough for the streamer.
As mentioned above, Kail’s new show has found its home on ShortVydz. For those wondering, ShortVydz is apparently a new app launching October 1 in the App Store and on Google Play.
Despite ‘Crashing Out with Kail’ not airing on a major streaming platform, Kail insisted this week that “it is a reality show” after a fan suggested that the video she posted was “basically an audition to get picked up for a reality [TV] show.”
Similarly, when another fan asked if viewers could “get a show with [Kail] on like Netflix or Hulu,” the ‘Crashing Out with Kail’ account confirmed that the show will only be airing on ShortVydz.
