‘American Pickers’ star Mike Wolfe is being accused by his former girlfriend Leticia Cline of being a different person “behind closed doors” than he is in public– something Leticia claims contributed to their recent split.
Last week, Leticia revealed on her Instagram Story that, after seven years together, she and Mike are no longer in a relationship. While she didn’t share when the two officially called it quits, Leticia went on to hint that there had been issues mounting for quite some time, much of which she claims that the public is wholly unaware of.
“For the past two months, I’ve been trying to come to terms with things that have left me absolutely devastated,” Letitia posted on Thursday, according to Page Six. “While the world continues to see one version of someone, I’ve been living with a very different reality.

“There is so much I have kept private over the past 10 years,” she continued. “Things I witnessed. Things I experienced. And things I stayed silent about because I loved someone and believed I was protecting him. I now realize how much that silence has cost me.”
Leticia claimed that while she has “a great deal to say,” there are reasons why she’s chosen to remain quiet. Although she did not elaborate further, she reiterated her claim that the ‘History’s Greatest Picks’ star is not the person that people think he is.
“What I will say is that the person the public knows and the person I knew behind closed doors are not the same,” she wrote. “I need time to process everything and decide how to move forward. But I will no longer protect a narrative at the expense of my own truth.”
While Mike and Leticia’s relationship was relatively low-profile, the couple landed in the news last year after being involved in a serious car accident in September when they were hit by a drunk driver. (The driver responsible for the crash went on to be charged with DUI and vehicular assault in December.)

Although both Mike and Leticia were injured in the accident, Leticia’s injuries were much more severe. She remained hospitalized for a period of time and later revealed that she had suffered a broken jaw, broken ribs and sternum, a collapsed lung and swelling on her spine.
In January, Mike took to social media to praise Leticia for handing her recovery journey “with such dignity and strength.”
At the beginning of the month, Leticia celebrated her birthday by taking to social media to reflect on how far she’s come since last year’s accident, telling fans, “this birthday meant more to me than most people know.” She went on to note that just a year ago, her mouth was wired shut and she “couldn’t move [her] lips or most of [her] face.”
“I’m so grateful for the people who knew how important today was and made sure I didn’t spend it without celebrating,” she wrote. “I got to be with my son and granddaughter, and in one of life’s full-circle moments, my ex-husband, his girlfriend and his mom threw me a little birthday party.
“After the year I’ve had, I didn’t need a big celebration,” Letitia continued. “I just needed to be reminded that I was worth celebrating. And today, I was.”
While Leticia noted in her Instagram Story last week that she and Mike had been together for seven years at the time of their split, Page Six reports that the two were first linked romantically in 2021, just months after Mike’s then-wife of 10 years, Jodi Faeth, filed for divorce.
At this time, Mike has not responded to Leticia’s recent comments, nor has he publicly addressed their split.
