‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Couple Jade Roper & Tanner Tolbert Welcome First Child

Fingers crossed they named her CHRIS-tina after Chris Harrison!

The very first Bachelor in Paradise baby is here!

Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert, who met and became engaged on the second season of the ‘Bachelor’ Nation show, welcomed their first child on Thursday morning.

E! News broke the news that the baby girl was healthy, despite coming nearly a month early.

“She’s here, our little sweetheart!” Jade told E! News in a statement. “Tanner and I are very proud to announce the arrival of our baby girl this Thursday morning. There’s truly no words to describe the feeling holding you in our arms for the first time and looking into your eyes. We love you, precious girl.”

The baby was born at 10:03 a.m. and weighed in at 6 lbs., 8 oz. and measured 20 inches long.

Jade and Tanner were the first ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ couple to get hitched. (Yes, Season 1’s Lacey Faddoul and Marcus Grodd did “get married” during ‘Paradise’ Season 2, but their wedding wasn’t official so it doesn’t count.) After tying the knot in January 2016, Jade and Tanner appeared on Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars. They announced that they were expecting in March.

Jade and Tanner have not yet revealed what they named their daughter.

Yet another ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ baby is due to arrive relatively soon. Carly Waddell and Evan Bass, who got married during Tuesday’s episode of ‘Bachelor in Paradise, recently announced they are expecting a baby  in 2018.

  1. I can’t get enough of them or Carly and Evan. Seriously who would have thought they would last, and they are freakin adorable.
