HGTV Announces Premiere Date for ‘Flipping 101 w/ Tarek El Moussa’: Watch a Sneak Peek of His New Spin-Off

“Solo Tarek, coming your way!”

Tarek El Moussa of HGTV’s Flip or Flop is getting his own series, Flipping 101 w/ Tarek El Moussa, which will follow the house-flipping expert as he mentors individuals that are new to the world of real estate.

The Ashley told you about Tarek’s new gig back in January; however little information was provided about the project until this week when HGTV announced that the 14-episode series will premiere in early 2020.

“My passion for real estate has led me to flip hundreds of homes over the years and I’ve been incredibly lucky as an entrepreneur to build a successful business,” Tarek said in an HGTV press release. “Now I get to help first-time flippers learn the ropes, find the best property deals and show them how to make the most profit on their investment.”

“Listen up, newbies!”

Jane Latman, President of HGTV, said the new series will show off Tarek’s “expertise and personality in a whole new light.”

“People daydream about what it would be like to renovate an investment property and make a profit,” Jane added. “Tarek is a skilled and seasoned expert who can help newcomers navigate the pitfalls of house flipping.”

In addition to his new solo show, Tarek will be returning to HGTV August 1 with a new season of ‘Flip or Flop’ alongside his ex-wife and co-star Christina Anstead—- whose own show, Christina on the Coast, premiered on the network in May.

Tarek is also set to release a new digital series, Tarek’s Flip Side, on August 1, available on the HGTV app, HGTV.com, on demand and on the network’s Facebook page and YouTube channel.

So, to sum things up: these people are basically going to be taking over HGTV.
