President of Colorado Rehab Facility Responds After Scott Disick’s Alleged Privacy Violation Causes Him to Check Out Early

“Explain yourselves.”

The President and CEO of the rehab facility that allegedly blew Scott Disick’s cover and ultimately caused him to check out of treatment early is speaking out about the facility’s privacy policy and the outlet that chose to take the story public.

Earlier this week, it was revealed that Scott had checked himself into rehab at the insistence of his current girlfriend, Sofia Richie, and his ex-girlfriend, Kourtney Kardashian, due to him reportedly being in a “really bad place.”

However, after about a week at the All Points North Lodge in Edwards, Colorado, a photo of Scott taken inside the rehab center surfaced online and the Flip It Like Disick star left the facility. At the time, his attorney, Marty Singer, released a statement confirming Scott’s departure from the facility and noting that he planned to take legal action against the facility for breaching Scott’s privacy.

Noah Nordheimer, President and CEO of All Points North Lodge, told Us Weekly he’s aware of what has happened and assured that the facility has a strict policy to not publicly disclose patients’ information.

“My team and I are aware of the information publicized on May 4, 2020, by the Daily Mail and other media sources regarding All Points North (APN) Lodge, the protection of our clients’ personal and confidential information is of the utmost importance to us,” Noah said. “It is APN’s strict policy to not publicly disclose patient-specific information, including whether or not a particular client is or was being treated at our facility, or has inquired about our facility.

“If it were determined that any information relating to any client was ever obtained from APN facilities and provided to a media outlet, APN will take all legal action available against that individual, including cooperating with law enforcement and other governmental authorities,” he continued.

Noah added the APN Lodge team is overwhelmingly a group who dedicates their lives to bettering others and that the facility is “sickened by any publication who would report on an individual’s life struggles without their consent” — a slight at Daily Mail for obtaining and publishing the private photo of Scott.

As previously reported, Scott went to the rehab facility to deal with traumas from his past — specifically the death of his parents — not for alcohol and cocaine abuse as it was originally reported by Daily Mail.

Scott had been to rehab at least three times prior to his brief stint at APN. While he is not currently in a rehab facility, People magazine reports that the ‘Flip It Like Disick’ star is planning to continue getting treatment as soon as he can find the right place to do so.

“He needs to be safe and secure,” the magazine’s source said. “He needs to be somewhere private where he can work on the things that are keeping him from being who he wants to be. He can’t get there if he’s not safe, which is why he left…He’s looking into his next steps. He’s talking to a lot of people who can give him psychological, emotional, physical and spiritual health. He knows he needs all four.”

At press time, the original Daily Mail story still stated that Scott was at the rehab for cocaine and alcohol struggles.

  1. while he maybe be a dick no one deserves this. Also he wasn’t allowed to grieve his parents loss go back and watch those episodes. Kourtney was horrid to him not letting him pushing him to go thru the parents stuff when he said he wasn’t ready. Giving it away and selling it she was brutal . Also what if he left and killed himself over this? If someone is bad enough to go there it could have happened

  2. The Lord was doing lines and banging dimes. F rehab bro. Throw on a little Deadmau5 & Kaskade ” I Remember” and chill You’ll be alright

  3. Typical addict using what ever reason he can find to leave treatment. So what if people know your in treatment. SCUM!!!!!

  4. No matter what, the person who did this will be outed, as HIPAA laws are federal and violations are not taken lightly. It will be investigated and they will, without a doubt, discover the identity of who took and sold the photo. It’s not that difficult to day with today’s technology. The media outlets will have no choice to provide every scrap of information regarding the receipt of this image. We all know whoever it was, was paid for the image. Payments are absolutely traceable, along with the device used to communicate with the media outlet. Once it’s confirmed who did it, they’ll not only loose their job, they could very well have charged pressed on them, as they knew it was not legal. I worked in the medical field for many years and was working when the privacy law was put into place. There’s no way the employee who took the photo did not know the laws. Absolutely legal action can be brought against the facility as well, as they are responsible for their employees. The whole thing is disgusting and only adds to the fear that someone may feel when considering seeking treatment. I can’t imagine it will be easy for Scott to trust another facility after this. Someone’s mental health and recovery are no one else’s business. A person needs to feel safe and comfortable sharing the details of what is going on and if they feel they cannot trust the facility, it’s staff and it’s patients, the therapy will not work because they cannot fully express what they’re going through in fear the details will be sold to the highest bidder.

Besides that, the media outlets that chose to purchase this image and make it a story deserve to punished. There are certain lines you don’t cross, no matter how much money it could make, and mental health, addiction and children are the biggest ones. It’s hard enough for people to ask for and accept help. They will give themselves excuse after excuse and use anything to avoid going to treatment. This is just one more road block to people accepting help.

  5. When a person is paid these large sums does the payee send them a 1099 for tax purposes?

I’d think it would be considered income and taxable?

Can the police request these type of records?

I’m very mad about disclosing private health info. Even noncelebs can be hurt if their medical info leaks. Hope they prosecute this person.

  6. I wouldn’t be surprised if he leaked the photos himself so he could have an good excuse to leave early. And possibly earn money from a lawsuit plus have some publicity for himself.

  7. Oh don’t be surprised by the journalistic ethics of the Daily Mail. They’re about fifty years beyond being considered an actual newspaper.

I’ve known of Scott since the Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami days, and always thought he was a douchebag, but losing both his parents early and unexpectedly within months of each other, and being on the receiving end of Kris Jenner and her harpies, I honestly feel kind of bad for the guy.

And for his private medical information to be publicly exploited during such a dark time for him is quite shameful. How could Scott Disick’s rehabilitation possibly be of public interest? It is between him and the few people that actually seem to care for him. Fuck the Daily Mail.

    1. I most definitely agree that Daily Mail is not a journalistic website. They literally have videos and in between the videos it says, “WE PAY CASH FOR VIDEOS!” I think even the Daily mail agrees that they are shady.

  8. From just reading the article, it sounds like the facility is putting the blame on Daily Mail. Although, I think the blame was first directed towards TMZ. So, for the sake of argument let’s just say paparazzi…obviously paparazzi gets paid to take and/or print the photos. However, this is a $40,000 a month facility. It looks like the picture of Scott was taken at intake when he was checking in. My guess is that someone from this place sold the photo and divulged the information so, I think the blame may be directly on APN. Surely they have cameras and can see who was on duty?
