“90 Day Fiance” Season 3 Couple Mark Shoemaker & Nikki Mediano Are Divorcing After 6 Years of Marriage

We can hardly believe it. Oh, wait…

Mark Shoemaker and Nikki Rose Mediano of “90 Day Fiance” fame are ending their marriage, Starcasm reports.

As fans may recall, Mark and Nikki appeared on the third season of “90 Day Fiance” in 2015. At the time they were on the show, Mark was 58 and Nikki was 19. The couple met through an online dating service.

The site reports that Mark filed for divorce on March 2 in Maryland.

We’ll give you a moment to recover from your shock….

Starcasm also reports that Mark filed a motion to seal the court records at the time, though the motion was denied the following day.

In his initial filing, Mark reportedly included his and Nikki’s prenuptial agreement–- a topic that previously came up on the TLC series. Mark had insisted on getting a prenuptial agreement in place prior to him and Nikki beginning the K-1 visa process.

The standard reaction when anyone on this show mentions the words “prenuptial agreement.”

Mark lists the same address for himself and Nikki in his filing, indicating that Nikki was still living with Mark in his home that was featured on the show at the time he filed for divorce.

On the show, viewers learned that Mark had four adult children from his first marriage– coincidentally to a woman from Cebu, Philippines, just like Nikki.

After appearing on “90 Day Fiance,” Mark went on to sue the network and show producers for fraud, breach of contract, defamation and more; however, because Mark and Nikki signed contracts to appear on the show, a judge ultimately dismissed the case in 2017.

Their marriage may not have lasted, but these creepy vibes are eternal.

After the news broke, Mark’s daughter Elise posted her reaction to finding out that her father and Nikki were getting divorced. (Nikki had been very outspoken about her disapproval of her dad’s relationship with Nikki while they were on “90 Day Fiance.”)

“I am absolutely shocked,” she said on TikTok sarcastically. “They seemed so happy together.”

  1. At least we know Nikki is alive. She’s also been married long enough to stay in the U.S. if she chooses to.

Mark is such a controlling creep, I’m glad Nikki is finally going to be free.

  2. I AM shocked: it’s not just that I assumed it ended years ago: I 100% would have sworn it actually did.

I must have mixed them up with another couple, but the only new (and mind-boggling) information I had to digest here was that they’d spent the last four years still married.

(At least she’s old enough to figure out what she’ll do next; as scary as it must be to move across the globe where you know no one else to marry a much older man at 19, it’s got to be even more frightening to try to navigate ending up single there at 20).

  3. Let’s ask Nikki if being controlled by a wrinkled old stick and balls was worth it. Now she’s in America, she can find an age appropriate stick and balls. Good for you Nikki. Don’t forget to get a job and pay your taxes now, ya hear?

  4. Wow, I’m glad she’s alright and divorcing. I was afraid she’d be locked up and controlled by him forever! That guy was the.creepiest.

  5. What creeper with adult children goes after a teenager?🤢I will never forget her putting her hand on the car window and him reprimanding her like she was his child about potential fingerprints on the window. Sometimes money isn’t worth it. That is all he had was money.

  6. I am shocked to hear this news … That Nikki lasted 6 whole years with that terrible creep before a divorce was filed!
