A new season of Southern Charm is on the horizon!
Deadline reports that the Bravo reality series has wrapped filming and the ninth season is expected to air this fall.
“That’s a WRAP on Southern Charm, Season 9!” Executive producer and show runner Thomas Kelly recently shared on social media. “Congrats to a great cast and the best crew in the biz – love you all! We crushed it- stay tuned this fall!”
The official Season 9 cast has yet to be confirmed by Bravo; however, Craig Conover, Shep Rose, Austen Kroll, Madison LeCroy, Venita Aspen and Leva Bonaparte reportedly signed on for Season 9. Sources claim Naomie Olindo will not be returning.
As The Ashley previously reported, OG ‘Southern Charm’ star Kathryn Dennis is departing the show as a full-time cast member and will instead appear as a guest star in the upcoming season. She shared the news of her (semi-) exit earlier this year, calling her time on the Bravo reality series a “wild ride.”
“Can you believe I was 21 when I first started filming ‘Southern Charm’ back in its first season? That was in 2013, and in the decade that followed, it’s safe to say my life changed in ways I could never imagine,” Kathryn told Page Six in January. “It hasn’t always been easy, but I’m so lucky to have had reality cameras there, capturing so many moments that I’ll never forget (and a few, even, that I’d like to).”
Even with Kathryn stepping back from the show, plenty of drama is expected to unfold in the upcoming season. Cast members Taylor Ann Green and Olivia Flowers will reportedly return, with the aftermath of the alleged hookup between Austen and Taylor slated to play out on camera.

As The Ashley told you earlier this month, Austen allegedly hooked up with Taylor at the beginning of Season 9, and, though both were single at the time, Taylor happens to be the ex-girlfriend of Austen’s pal Shep, as well as a close friend of Austen’s ex-girlfriend Olivia.
According to Page Six‘s sources, Austen and Taylor are going to play it off on the show that they just “made out” but an insider shared, “[It] gets revealed to be more than that.”
The unnamed source added that Season 9 will show Taylor losing it during a cast get-together, and “screaming and crying and yelling in front of all the guests.”
No official premiere date has been announced for Season 9.
