Lindsay Hubbard was supposed to have spent last weekend in Mexico, tying the knot with her Summer House co-star Carl Radke, but— after being dumped by Carl just months before the wedding— Lindsay instead spent the weekend getting cozy with The Challenge vet Johnny Bananas!
Page Six reported that Lindsay and the House of Villains star were seen strolling around the West Village in New York City hand-in-hand and eventually headed to dinner at Loring Place on Sunday. Sources told the publication that the weekend was going to be “hard” for Lindsay and that she needed to be distracted.
A source revealed to ET that Lindsay and Johnny have “known each other for years” and added, “Lindsay’s just having fun, but she’s not necessarily interested in dating another reality star. She’s looking for a man.”
ET reported that Lindsay spent Friday, November 17—the actual day she was supposed to marry Carl— with her girlfriends, but went out to brunch on Sunday with Johnny and a group of people. Lindsay and Johnny ended up going out to dinner together later that night.
Although Lindsay and Carl didn’t make it to Mexico for obvious reasons, some of their friends and family members went on the trip anyway, due to having non-refundable hotel and airfare bookings. Page Six reported that ‘Summer House’ stars Kyle Cooke and Gabby Prescod were reportedly seen at the venue, along with Carl’s mom and stepdad, and Vanderpump Rules stars Scheana Shay and Brock Davies .
Back in September, Carl sent a letter to would-be wedding guests, expressing his apologies that the guests were now left with travel fees due to the cancelled wedding. In the letter– which was obtained by People— Carl offered to “help with any costs associated with changing plans.”
“[We know your] commitment of money and time was already a lot,” Carl wrote, before suggesting that the hung-out-to-dry wedding guests use their reservations as a vacation. “I don’t take [this] lightly. We are super grateful for the love and support you have shown us.”
As The Ashley previously reported, Lindsay and Carl’s wedding plans came to a screeching halt when Carl broke off the engagement at the end of August. The breakup was reportedly filmed and will be part of ‘Summer House’ Season 8. (Filming for the season had already wrapped by the time of the split, but producers started filming again to capture the intense breakup. According to Lindsay, Carl informed producers that he intended to dump her so that they could film it. Carl has denied this claim.)
Although Lindsay was initially shocked and “completely blindsided” by Carl’s decision to end things, she told Us Weekly earlier this month that she finally felt “really good about moving on.”
