Jenelle Evans took aim at several women in her ex-husband David Eason‘s life on Tuesday, lashing out on X at David’s girlfriend Kenleigh Heatwole, as well as David’s daughter, Maryssa, who was celebrating her 18th birthday.
The fired Teen Mom star kicked off her social media rant after Kenleigh— who has been David’s live-in soulmate since shortly after Jenelle gave him the boot in 2024— posted a video about Maryssa’s birthday. Jenelle popped into the Kodak moment, cryptically writing on X, “Ever wonder why he’s closer to one daughter than the other?”
While Jenelle seemed to be implying that there is a nefarious reason for David being closer to Maryssa than his younger daughter, Ensley, (whom he shares with Jenelle), Kenleigh offered up her thoughts on why David now lacks a close relationship with Ensley.
“Maybe because [Maryssa’s mom] Whitney didn’t pick up Maryssa and leave to the other side of country and actually gets along with both of us. Hmm I wonder why,” Kenleigh wrote.
(As followers of the “As The Swamp Turns” saga that is Jenelle and David’s life know, Jenelle moved Ensley and her other kids to Las Vegas with her shortly after she split from David.)
Jenelle tweeted (and deleted) that the true reason makes her “want to puke,” but she can’t reveal it because it’s “locked away in evidence.
(The Ashley is almost certain Jenelle is talking about this situation.)
“You’re going to have to ask God for forgiveness because you’ll probably go to hell for doing something like that,” she wrote, presumably to David.
Jenelle then began to list all of the things she did for Maryssa during the years the teen lived with her and David.
“Idc how much s**t my stepdaughter wants to talk about me because I’m not going to give the same energy. She’s bright, smart, and beautiful,” Jenelle wrote, before basically calling the 18-year-old ungrateful.
“I wish the best for her and I hope she sees and appreciates what I have done for her one day,” Jenelle added. “Her mother wasn’t there for her. I was.”
Kenleigh– who has grown close to Maryssa since she started shacking up with David— made it clear that she disagreed that Maryssa should be grateful to Jenelle.

When someone on X pointed out that Jenelle immediately kicked Maryssa out of her house on The Land after David left, Kenleigh agreed.
From there, Jenelle began to lash out, bragging about how much money she spent on Maryssa over the years.
“Go into details how I paid $1k a month for her to do private school online because she didn’t like public school,” Jenelle wrote of Maryssa. “Go into detail how her maternal grandmother thanked me for years for providing hand helping her when I didn’t have to do it.”
“Go into detail about her mother’s back story and why I paid $10k for emergency custody of her,” she continued. “Go into details how I provided her a home and her own bedroom with furniture. Her mother or father did not do that.. but I did it out of the kindness of my heart… Go into detail why she didn’t want to live with her mom or dad and chose her grandmother when I left NC.”
Jenelle also implied that Maryssa told her mother, Barbara Evans, some less-than-stellar stuff about David while the family (plus Barb) was vacationing in Puerto Rico in 2023.
“Guess she hated me so much but we did TikTok’s together,” Jenelle wrote.
“Ask her what she told my mom about her own father on vacation in Puerto Rico,” Jenelle wrote, adding that Barb “won’t tell me” what Maryssa said during the trip.
Next, Jenelle accused Kenleigh of getting HIGH! HIGH! with Maryssa’s mother, Whitney (who has struggled with addiction for years).
“And I bet you do get along with his ex.. you pop Adderall and she does drugs. Two peas in a pod,” Jenelle wrote.
Kenleigh whipped right back at Jenelle, admitting that she does have a prescription for Adderall, but that she doesn’t even take it consistently.
“I am prescribed Adderall for ADHD and I actually don’t take it unless I have work and sometimes I forget to take the whole dosage, that’s the difference between me and an addict,” Kenleigh wrote.
She later clarified how she got into this online tizzy with Jenelle in the first place.

After Kenleigh’s social media squabble with Jenelle on Tuesday, she and David headed to The Land to pick up some of the items that David was awarded in their divorce settlement, including motorbikes, tools, etc. Jenelle was not present on The Land while her former soulmate and his new lady were there. She, in fact, was at a Kesha concert.

This is not the first time that Jenelle has implied that Maryssa is ungrateful for all she did for her while she was her stepmom. In February, Maryssa posted a TikTok video about growing up on The Land, which sent Jenelle into a tizzy. Although Jenelle brushed the joke off that same day while she was Live on TikTok, her private response to Maryssa— which was exposed on X by Kenleigh— was anything but joking.
Kenleigh posted the message that Maryssa allegedly received from Jenelle.
“You’ve got jokes? Me too,” Jenelle reportedly wrote to Maryssa. “It’s sad you’re a broken girl and addicted to your dad’s love after what he did to you. I’ll pray for you.
“I did everything for you and you never even said thank you one time for me raising you, buying you everything and anything you’ve ever needed, and gave you a roof over your head. If you want to match at this TikTok game we certainly can and I’ll tag you.”
Back in March 2024, Jenelle opened up about her relationship (or lack thereof) with Maryssa.
“She refuses to talk to any of us,” Jenelle wrote during an Instagram Q&A at the time. “She’s always been distant and I just don’t think I was ever looked at as her ‘stepmom.’ By the way I was disrespected so much by my ex [David], I feel like she wanted to feel the same way her dad did towards me. Very prideful!”
Maryssa has not responded to any of her former stepmom’s statements.

While we all know that both Jenelle and David are the absolute worst parents and people ever and both of them should be sterilized, Kenleigh also is pretty gross,both as a person and as a stepmom. Besides the obvious of her spreading Maryssa’s business like it’s her own story to tell, and the fact that she engages dumbass Jenelle in these immature and ridiculous social media wars, everyone seems to overlook the fact that she’s not only dating but defending a man with a long track record of neglect and abuse of women, kids, even animals. She defends David like she’s his attorney or something,LOL!!! The point is that Kenleigh is proving herself to be no better than Jenelle and the saint act that she’s trying to sell is just as annoying as Jenelle and her whole existence. I just feel bad for every single one of those kids in their orbit.

I kid you not, i continuously try to give Jenelle grace. I try to see the trauma that made her who she is. I try to see what she must feel inside. I try my hardest to be patient and kind. But every single time she does anything at all, I have to start back over. She is truly a vile human being.
Why does Jenelle follow Maryssa or Kenleigh? What kind of person advertises SA that their kids allegedly suffered? It’s the way she brings it up every time she’s mad like David broke their favorite toy or something, is monstrous and impossible to even believe. Not a Jenelle fan but considering he has zero visitation before settlement and they were married means the court does not deem him fit at the present moment in time . The tpo does not apply to biological children I’m a divorce unless they were the target (victim) . When it’s between husband and wife typically both parents can see the children temporarily until permeant order is issued . I am positive of this so court clearly agrees to some degree David is a present danger to ensley .
Yes. David has a long rap sheet of ugly stuff as well as an active child abuse case with Jace. Just because they deem David unfit to have visitation with ensley does not mean he did what Jenelle keeps publicly telling people he did. She is sick. And she doesn’t care about anyone but herself.

Nah, that’s not how it works. Jenelle got the protective order and it covers Ensley. Jenelle filed the order and then fled to Vegas. All of the things she stood by and watched (and then stuck up for David) were listed in the petition for the RO, but she failed to mention that she was also a party to everything she accused David of. You’re giving Jenelle way too much credit. She’s a devious, conniving liar who will stop at nothing to get revenge against anyone she thinks has done her wrong.
You speak positively on something you clearly don’t actually understand, lol. A TPO absolutely *can* apply to any and all in a household, including children, even if they weren’t direct victims of anything. In fact, TPOs often include everyone in a household/family, depending on the reason for getting one in the first place. It can also apply to animals gained during the duration of a relationship as well (which isn’t likely something most people have to, or ever, think about, but it’s true).
The custody issues are separate from the divorce as is often (usually) the case. But none of that has anything at all to do with the insinuations Jenelle has made and continues to make on a regular basis. We all know David is scum of the earth. He’s done enough bad shit for a multitude of lifetimes and I don’t honestly believe he should be anywhere except behind bars. That said, there’s no reason for Jenelle to continue to make shit up and make him seem worse than he already is (the lowest of the low can’t get a whole lot lower). Aside from that, she makes herself sound just as bad by acting as if she knew all this bad shit he’s “done” and she did nothing about it, just like all the bad shit he actually did, which she did nothing about.

In her responses to the swamp queen, Kenleigh is highlighting her immaturity and her naïveté. Davis is the only one responsible for his role as a father. He is choosing not to be in his daughters life. That is on him, not Jenelle. She also needs to realize that Jenelle did pay for him to get full custody. David wasn’t the one raising Maryssa before Jenelle or after. He would not have had custody of Maryssa without Jenelle.

Does Jenelle think we have amnesia and don’t remember how screwed up David and Jenelle are?

Remember the Easter that Ensley got a really nice Easter basket with candy and toys inside, and Jenelle said to her ON CAMERA “Go show your brother.” So Ensley prances off to Kaiser who is sitting dejectedly on the porch, holding 3 plastic eggs with quarters inside! Don’t remember those days do you Jenelle? But like you said, you’re such a great mom and stepmom!
