New Season of ‘Seeking Sister Wife’ Premieres Next Month with Two Returning Families & Three New Couples: Watch the Season 6 Trailer

Umm…we’ll take your word for it…

Seeking Sister Wife returns next month with a new season featuring couples, throuples and partnerships of four (or more), all of whom are looking to add someone new to their polygamous marriage.

Season 6 of the TLC series will welcome back two familiar families from the franchise– as well as one family’s trusty “Boom Boom Room”– while also introducing viewers to three new plural-marriage enthusiasts.

Meet the Season 6 cast below:

The Merrifield Family of Buena Vista, Colorado

You just KNOW they’re laughing at that belt buckle.

Returning for yet another season of ‘Seeking Sister Wife’ is the Merrifield family. After experiencing heartbreak with past pairings Roberta and Nathalia– both Brazilian– Garrick and Dannielle Merrifield have decided to open their hearts once again, this time to potential sister wife Lorrana, who is also Brazilian.

“…God AND reality TV, if we’re being honest.”

Upon Lorrana’s arrival to the United States (via K1 visa), Garrick and Dannielle have just 90 days to lock things down with their new love interest, all while Lorrana navigates her new life in Colorado.

The Davis Family of Aurora, Colorado

“Surprise– we’re still seeking!”

The Davis family is also back for another season of ‘Seeking Sister Wife’– well, most of the Davis family, that is.

Nick, April and Jenny Davis will continue their plural journey in Season 6, while also preparing to welcome another baby girl into the family. Meanwhile, the trio’s former sister wife Danielle– who joined the throuple in Season 4– has amicably left the relationship. Though the Davis trio is down a wife, they’re hoping to find a replacement in platonic friend Teresa.

“…if this one doesn’t work out, I guess we’re coming back for Season 7, ladies.”

While Teresa is excited to potentially take her relationship with Nick to the next level, viewers will watch in the upcoming season as the multi-spoused man struggles with the transition from bestie to lover and wife.

The Peraltas of Bristol, Connecticut

The Peraltas are going plural. (Possibly.)

Making their ‘Seeking Sister Wife’ debut are Yessel and Dani Peralta, who have been married for five years and share two young children in addition to Yessel’s two kids from previous relationships. Due to Yessel being required to travel often for his job– leaving Dani, a nurse, to keep things running at home on her own– the pair are considering bringing in a sister wife to provide some extra support.

That’s certainly one way to provide support.

While the pair previously made an attempt to transition into a plural marriage, the experience “nearly cost them everything,” leaving Dani set on laying down some boundaries before they get their wife-seeking on again.

The Johnsons of Providence, Rhode Island

“Being in a plural marriage is HILARIOUS!”

Also joining the ‘Seeking Sister Wife’ family this season are long time polygamists Matt and Anjelica Johnson, who are parents to two young children. Matt and Anjelica have been dating Shaney for three years and during that time, she and Anjelica have become best friends.

We can’t wait to see how this man managed to snag two wives while having zero game.

As part of Shaney and Anjelica’s friendship, the two enjoy evenings away from their husband and kids; however, Shaney is now dissatisfied with the time she and Matt spend together. In the upcoming season, the trio must confront the issue and face a pivotal moment in defining their future as a couple throuple.

The Williamsons of New Ross, Indiana

These two former choir kids are looking for someone new to harmonize with…

Also joining the franchise this season is married couple Reise and Billie Jean Williamson, who have been married for four years, but have known each other since middle school. Reise and Billie Jean share one-year-old twins, two dogs, three cats, lots of chickens and a desire to have a bigger family. After struggling with fertility, however, Billie Jean has proposed the idea of bringing in a sister wife.

Raise your hand if you’re pumped that your polygamist journey comes with a paycheck…

In Season 6 of ‘Seeking Sister Wife,’ viewers will watch as the small-town twosome take on the tough world of dating as polygamists, despite Reise finding the prospect of going on dates to be nerve-wracking.

  1. Also the second couple was a proven liar. People found their SM and FB with pictures of all of them many years ago. Including the last girl and the last girl that arrived. The one they played off as just meeting!

    1. I live for this garbage lol. I work from home so it’s so nice to have a show to watch while I work lol. This is it!

  2. Haven’t even watched it yet and already know Dannielle will cry the whole season. She tries to make it seem like she is cool with gross Garrick sticking his little pee pee in various women. Why? Because he tells her that God told him he needs another wife and she needs another sister wife. And she believes it. She has believed it with all FOUR of the women he has tried to bring in.🙄

    1. God told him he needed another wife, and make her Brazilian please 😂. I hate Derrick with a passion, but Danielle really screed herself over when she divorced him and seemingly let him keep all their shared assets

    2. It is so disgusting how he is and how she tries to believe it all. I love also how she “accidentally” got pregnant. These people are vile. The men are disgusting and these women need a shot of self esteem ASAP!

  3. Ya know, I’ve always been the-as long as nobody is getting hurt person. This stuff is really starting to gross me out though. All i see is a bunch of guys wanting more women and some probably having a heavy hand in their wives agreeing to it.

    1. I totally agree with you. Polyamory for instance seems fair. I wouldn’t practice it myself, but I understand it.

Polygamy is sick and unfair and makes me irrationally angry. I want to cut off all the men’s dicks honestly 😂

    2. If it’s practiced on a community wide basis, they run off the young boys to keep the gender balance tilted for the community leaders.

Then in breeding concerns…. It’s vile.
