Jenelle Evans‘ son has taken to social media to expose how “unstable” he says his mother allegedly is.
On Tuesday, Jace Evans— the 16-year-old son of the fired Teen Mom star— posted a series of screenshots showing conversations between him and Jenelle in which Jenelle allegedly cusses at him, accuses him of lying about her now-ex-husband David Eason strangling him back in 2023, threatening to get Jace taken away and more!
As The Ashley has previously reported, Jace and Jenelle have had a very tumultuous relationship since Jenelle regained custody of him several years ago. Jenelle has called the police on her son numerous times for allegedly getting violent, as well as running away both in Las Vegas (where they currently live) and in North Carolina (where Jace was living with Jenelle and David before their split.)
“I am finally putting out how my mother really is,” Jace captioned his first post, which showed Jace telling Jenelle that he doesn’t care about his siblings but does care about his “health and living situation.”
“I don’t need you, you don’t need me and I don’t understand why ur doing this just because I’m telling the truth,” Jace wrote to his mom in the text. “Ur crazy.”
Jenelle allegedly responded to Jace’s text with, “Your[e] the one saying you’re going to have my custody taken. F**K YOU.”
In another one of the posted screenshots, Jenelle allegedly calls her son a liar and brings up the 2023 incident in which Jace accused David of physically assaulting him. (David eventually received two charges for the incident— felony Assault by Strangulation and child abuse, after it was determined that there was enough proof of assault occurring to charge David. Those charges are still pending, and David is set to go on trial for them in January 2026.)
“Just like the way you lied about David strangling you,” Jenelle allegedly wrote to Jace. “You make things worse on yourself.”
“I never lied,” Jace replied. “He tried to do [that s**t].”
Jenelle— who, after the 2023 incident vehemently defended David— then told Jace that it didn’t happen.
“I was standing right there and have the Ring camera videos,” Jenelle allegedly told her son.
“OK nice yea u were standing there yelling in my face cussing me out just watching things happen,” Jace responded.
“But go ahead and test me,” Jenelle allegedly replied back.
In the final screenshot, Jenelle can allegedly be seen threatening Jace.
“So keep it up and I’ll make ONE phone call,” Jenelle allegedly wrote, before telling Jace, “You won’t get a damn thing from me anymore including a phone.”
“Got it,” Jace replied.
In his caption, Jace wrote that, “I need to go back to NC. She is just r[ea]lly unstable.”
As The Ashley previously told you, Jace has been back in Las Vegas for several months, after Jenelle’s failed attempt to ship him off to his father, Andrew Lewis. Despite Andrew only being back in Jace’s life for a short while, Jenelle sent Jace to Florida to live with his dad, but it ended poorly. Jenelle later told the press that Andrew was not sober and Jace “learned his lesson” about what his father is actually like.
Interestingly, Jace may be talking about returning to his dad’s home, as a source tells The Ashley that Andrew and his mom recently moved back to North Carolina. (The Ashley can’t confirm this, though.)

Jenelle has issues but anyone ever wonder why Barb gave up custody after all these years and Jace keeps having issues everywhere he goes? Not saying Jenelle is a good parent but obviously Jace has some problems. Seems to be a mini-Jenelle.
I mean. Most kids will have issues with their mom abandoning them for their soul mate of the week 100 times in life. Especially when it’s alllll on TV.
Exactly, poor Jace grew up with Jenelle and Barb constantly fighting and Jenelle abandoning him and after reading that she’s partying almost every night with Tori, not much has changed.and making Jace babysit doesn’t sound like a mom, how embarrassing for Jace that his mom and Tori are on of. The other two kids will turn out the same way, bc she neglects her kids and Jenelle telling the world that Jace has mental issues, is humiliating for him, she only put it out there to save her own butt. she should not have custody of these kids

7 Taken off medication that he needs
8 Being abandoned by his mother again and dumped on the doorstep of the father he don’t really know
9 being verbally and mentally abused by his mother
10 having mental health issues

This, I think it is just so wrong my to say that about a kid abused by their parents, say you, the child, is just like the abusive parents.
He is a child who has been through a ton of ACE’s. I hope CPS leads to emancipation, him going to Barb, or a Guardian ad Litem to help him figure out his options and best route. I really hope their CPS dept is funded well.
Don’t send him back to Barb, remember she didn’t raise Janelle, right. Why do you think Janelle, is the way she is. Why anyone would give the kid to the Grandma that didn’t d a good job with her kids. Barb, was the same way man after man.

My older two boys have ADHD and when they were younger, we thought for a hot minute, ODD. However, a big part of their improvement and practical absence of ADHD behavior issues as they’ve gotten older, I had to re-evaluate my parenting and learn how to parent alongside their diagnosis, in a different way. It helped dramatically. I wonder if Jenelle has EVER thought SHE might be the issue and that she is approaching their interactions in a completely different way. Her text exchange with him is very much teenage versus teenager, not parent trying to support and help her child. She makes me sick. It’s sad- he almost has more control over his responses to her, than she does. The “Got it” and “thank you” seems to come from a much more controlled place than “F**K YOU”. SMH
Yep, neurodivergent kids can be hard. I’m really glad you worked with you kids instead of against them. The amount of trauma the kid has had in doesn’t surprise me he wants some feeling of control of a small part of his life.

The fact that she stated that David didn’t do it. Then said he did do it. And is now telling Jace via text that it didn’t happen either? Congrats, bitch, David is more than likely walking away from the strangulation case unless they have video evidence that he put hands on that boy. She continuously makes that boys life absolute hell. I have never felt more badly for a child in my life.

I know, but you have to have proof. And Jenelle is an unreliable witness as we have all seen. So unless there’s video evidence, it’s Jace’s word against David’s. And David’s word right now is “I had to protect the family against him”. Which is exactly what Jenelle has been saying in the fucking media lately too to cover her own deadbeat ass.
Pattern of behavior can be admitted as evidence, but I take your point and agree it will likely be the kid not being believed in most cases.
I just think ( or blindly hope?) these two partial parents have so much documented history that it may help sway the jury, unless he is going for judge trial. But I’ve been the kid not believed and I know how that works. But my parents had kept me from medical care so injuries etc couldn’t be documented, and being military we moved so often…made it MUCH easier.
The two chuckle..fu…heads have a lot already against them on record that can be admitted as evidence by the prosecutor.

The rest about David is sad . Being strangled is traumatic enough but it makes it even worse when what happened to you is coldly dismissed and brushed off . Jenelle is just bitter she’s alone . She can plaster a fake smile on on her face in pictures with Tori all she likes but the living her best single life is a facade . It’s sad she blames a victim for a grown man’s actions. If the claims were bull why would she require a psych evaluation before he saw ensley?. She shouts from every corner of social media she’s changed but it doesn’t seem like it.

People can say Barbara is this wonderful woman, but she’s not. She screams and screams. That’s not ok. It is damaging to kids. I understand that she loves them. Jenelle saw a psychiatrist and was diagnosed with different mental illnesses. She should take it seriously and seek help. Dumbass she is though.
This child could make some serious dough getting a shadow writer and putting out an autobiography. If getting knocked up at 16 and doing heroin got Jenelle a bunch of cash, surely being her child and telling the world about his upbringing can do the same. I mean, look at the gypsy Blanchard murder woman, she murdered her mom and “wrote” how many books? lol.
I hope Jace has genuine support somewhere. And the people he interacts with are safe individuals. The cycle will always continue unless he himself decides to make a different life for himself.

But what no one knows is what really went on. We know what DeluJanelle posts, we know what can be found in public records, but this young man lived this.
I believe Jace, as we’ve all seen Janelle’s behavior. As a mother of a child with ODD, you CANNOT talk to them like this!! It does anything other than make the situation better. If he does have ODD, and she were any kind of caring mom, she would’ve done research about the condition and learned this.

Janelle never wanted Jace she only fought for him when she was with Nathan and then David, so it’s obvious she used the my mum stole him off me excuse rather than the truth that she gave Jace up. So to make herself look like she actually cared she decided to fight for Jace.
When she split from Nathan, her fighting for Jace suddenly dropped.
Janelle always makes out that everyone is lying everyone is a pos, when actually the biggest liar and pos is her.
Jace is better away from her toxicity he needs someone to take him in and get away from her and kaiser needs saving to. The only one she seems to care about is ensley and that’s because she’s still obsessed in David.

The obvious difference in the way she treats Ensley is going to change drastically when Ensley hits puberty and those hormones kick in. This child has witnessed first hand from her mother how to lie and manipulate in order to get what she wants. As soon as she’s no longer easy to control, DeluJanelle will no longer treat her the way she does now. The only one who can’t see this coming is poor Ensley.
These poor kids are literally trapped with this unstable piece of crap. Why isn’t there someone in their lives that can intervene and give them a chance at a decent life? Jenelle is living like she’s some kind of porn star, making all kinds of money on Only Fans which is about as low as you can get as a mother. Yet she is proud of this!! Showing off to her loser friend that’s staying with her, partying like she’s some kind of out of control teenager! When school starts, Kaiser and Ensley will probably be teased all of the time about their mother doing porn on the internet for a living. She neglects her kids and no one seems to care. I wish poor Jace could get himself emancipated and then get the hell away from her. She is going to cause him to completely explode again and she will blame him and have him put in juvie or something so she can gain sympathy from her “fans.” I hope MTV is paying attention to all of this. They could’ve stepped in years ago as we all watched the abuse that was inflicted on Kaiser as a toddler. But they just kept filming, and doing nothing. The whole Teen Mom industry needs to be cancelled. That show helped to build the abusive lives these kids suffer with.

Cps helped get me out as teen, but honestly CPS can only work within their funding. Social workers are underpaid overworked, we need to fund more if we want more.

Good for Jace. He was forced to grow up too soon. Barbara did her best but there are countless incidents of her screaming at Jace or insulting Janelle in front of him. Unpopular opinion alert: and Barbara drank too much. If he’s not on too much medication, he should look into the U.S. Army. They would help him get his G.E.D. and sort things out. He would do great in “boot camp” as he lived on that swamp and is used to rough living. Or the State should take custody of him for his last 2 years. Bouncing around between family members needs to stop.

You can no longer join the military without a GED or high school diploma (you could in the 80’s and before). You can’t even join the military with a GED – you need at least a few college credits. I just got out of the Army three years ago.
But yes, if he can, the military might be good for him, providing stability and life lessons 101, as well as community and people who care about him.
Unfortunately, due to his juvenile records and documented medical issues, I don’t think any military branch would take him. They are very strict now. That all changes when there’s a war or recruiting numbers are low.
Yeah people act like Barb is a saint. She was wonderful for raising Jace, but the screaming with Jenelle in front of him is super traumatizing. It certainly was when my parents did that in front of my brother and I.
I feel sad for Barb and Jace though. Barb got too old to be able to handle Jace, and has had to keep working to support him long after she should have retired.
Jace has only had Barb has a stable parent, but has some understandable mental health issues from Jenelle repeatedly abandoning him, bringing a cycle of different men around him, always choosing her significant others over him, and allowing her husband to abuse him. I hope he can go back and live with Barb, and start therapy again. That poor kid has been through the wringer.
