David Eason was back in court— again!— on Monday, coming face-to-face with his ex-girlfriend Kenleigh Heatwole over a restraining order she filed against him earlier this month.
The Ashley can exclusively reveal that the former soulmate of Teen Mom star Jenelle Evans was required to appear at the hearing, due to the original court date of October 6 being continued, as David and his attorney were attempting to fight the restraining order filing.
The Ashley broke the news that Kenleigh— who split with David last month— filed for a protective order against her former live-in lover after she had to call the cops on David, whom she claimed was “verbally abusive” post-breakup. In her filing, Kenleigh wrote that David called her a “dumb whore” and was frequently cussing her out. She also noted that David was doing burnouts on his motorbike on her street as part of a tantrum he was throwing after she kicked him out of her home.
“[He was] acting very manic,” Kenleigh wrote in her protective order request paperwork. “Banging on my door nightly, coming into my room at ungodly hours.”
According to The Ashley’s courthouse reporter, David remained inside the courtroom on Monday while Kenleigh met with David’s attorney outside the courtroom.
“David wants to fight the restraining order, so he and his attorney seemed eager to come to an agreement with Kenleigh so she didn’t file to extend it for the full year,” The Ashley’s source stated.
This is likely due to the fact that the aspiring swamp rapper currently has several restraining orders against him already— one from Jenelle and another for her eldest son Jace.
In addition, David has his custody battle with Jenelle over their daughter Ensley coming up in December. One month later, he is set to stand trial for criminal charges pending against him for allegedly strangling Jace in 2023.
“Kenleigh and [David’s] attorney met right outside the courtroom and discussed options,” The Ashley’s reporter stated. “They eventually agreed that David has two weeks to get his things from Kenleigh’s property, including a giant shed full of stuff he has out there currently. The pick-up date will be scheduled and David will need a police escort if he comes on the property himself instead of sending someone in his place.”
According to The Ashley’s courthouse reporter, Kenleigh and the attorney agreed on the terms and then presented them to the judge who approved the plan on Monday.
As The Ashley previously reported, David is once again living on his broken-down boat, which he was awarded in his divorce from Jenelle this summer. He has been staying on his “boaterhome” since Kenleigh kicked him out of her home.

No one deserves to feel unsafe in their home but it’s hard to be sympathetic to someone who knowingly and willingly decided to have a relationship with a documented nutter of a ticking time bomb waiting to detonate. It’s not like his reputation didn’t proceed him.
Now that he’s back in the boaterhome, I’m wondering where he’s going to store all the crap he’s storing in her shed. I’m guessing he’ll try to put it all in one of those ice fishing bob houses, it’s the closest thing to a boaterhome shed.

DKD was granted the shed on the Land in the divorce settlement. So yes, he can go on his portion.

“Loaded” may be a little generous. Jenelle owes him ~$33,500 spread over 7 monthly payments. David also still has a criminal trial and custody trial pending in the next few months. I’d imagine that a chunk of that $33,500 will go to his lawyer(s)

In all seriousness, David will go right back to harassing her in a few weeks, unless he manages to find another sugar mama to move in with before then. First, he is going to start texting her how beautiful she is and how much he misses her. David’s next move will depend on how she responds; he will either continue the love bombing if she seems receptive, or get nasty if she doesn’t. He isn’t just going to go away because he already considered Kenleigh to be his property before the argument that started this.
The minute David was awarded all that money from Jenelle he dumped her so he wouldn’t have to spend any of that money on her or to help fix up her house.
I wish she had requested an extension for the restraining order instead of negotiating some sort of arrangement with David through his attorney. We all know he is not going to leave her alone. Given his unpredictable behavior, there’s a real concern that he might escalate his actions now that the pressure to stay away has been lifted. If I were in her position, I would feel worried.

Wait sooo … Did I read this incorrectly? Did the lawyers come to a pick-up agreement pre-hearing to AVOID David getting yet another well-deserved restraining order filed on him? I hope I interpreted that wrong, but kenleigh girl … You need to protect yourself from this very scary man. There’s a reason he has multiple restraining orders from multiple people. I can understand wanting to get this done and out of the way ASAP so she can move on with her life, but him getting out of another restraining order is like getting out of jail for free to me. I hope I am reading this wrong 😬
IDK…how can I sympathize with anyone who clearly has access to everything proving exactly what Sasquatch is known for…being abusive to females. How many have seen the proof, ignored it, and then regretted it? Obviously none of his victims are rocket scientists, but come on!! They manage to make it through the day without drowning in the shower so they have a least a few brain cells…🤷🏼♀️
People were bringing it up to Kenleigh repeatedly on her social media. Describing how he murdered the dog. Kenleigh’s response was to show David cuddling up with her dog. People told her how he choked and abused Jace and she responded “There’s two sides to every story”. I just don’t get it. Especially when there is evidence showing how violent David is to women, kids and animals. There was only one side to that story and she ignored it.
And don’t forget the did that to the mother of his other kids too. It’s almost like any significant other he has, he’s abusive to.
And when he was doing it to Jenelle, she called Jenelle.
