From trying to get your mom a job to trying to defend your mom skills, it’s been a busy week for the stars/former stars of the Teen Mom franchise! In an effort to bring you up-to-date on the latest Teen Mom news, The Ashley brings you the Teen Mom News Pile.
Here are some of the major (and minor but interesting) ‘Teen Mom’-related things that happened over the last week or so…
Bentley Edwards Campaigns for Mom Maci Bookout to Compete on ‘The Challenge’
Cory Wharton may soon have a fellow ‘Teen Mom’ star joining him in his (seemingly) endless fight to become a ‘Challenge’ champ, as Bentley Edwards is campaigning for his mom, Maci Bookout, to get a real job join the long-running MTV competition show.
Bentley– who Maci shares with Ryan Edwards– recently took to social media to push for his mom’s new gig in response to a ‘Challenge’ fan page on X discussing ideas for the upcoming season.
“Returners are good but you should cast my mom!” Bentley wrote, before tagging his mom in the tweet.
In the spirit of (more) ‘Teen Mom’ stars making the jump to ‘The Challenge,’ a fan commented on Bentley’s post, suggesting that BOTH of his parents join the show.
“Maci and Ryan on the next exes season 😂,” they wrote.
While Bentley seems confident in his mom’s ability to take on ‘The Challenge,’ ‘Teen Mom’ fans may remember Maci’s previous foray into physically-challenging reality TV on Naked and Afraid in 2018 going horribly for the mom of three.
While Maci touted herself as a “badass” prior to entering the Central American jungle, she ultimately tapped out of the 14-day challenge early, lasting one day in the wildness without clothes, food or Bud Light.
Jenelle Evans Defends Her Parenting After David Eason’s Ex Kenleigh Heatwole Calls Her a Bad Mom
Jenelle is busting out her “mom persona” this week, posting videos and photos of her with her kids to social media. This comes just days after Kenleigh Heatwole— the latest ex-girlfriend of David Eason— slammed her parenting skills on X during an online spat.
In a video posted to social media, Jenelle responded to a comment left online to her in which someone told her to “parent better.”
In the video, Jenelle pans the camera to show that her daughter Ensley and son Kaiser are lying on her bed with her.
“Before you guys comment some crazy things on my profile, just know that this is what I be doin’!” she said.
Jenelle went on to say that she’s always with her kids, because they are “attached at my hip.”
Not all of her followers were buying Jenelle’s new-fangled “mom vibes,” with several of them pointing out that Jenelle often spends time with her kids “until the next man comes along.”
Jenelle has been upping the mom content since Kenleigh, the ex-soulmate of David Eason, attacked her parenting in several Grade A insults posted to X. On Friday, Jenelle posted that she hates Kenleigh (who broke up with David in September) because Kenleigh made fun of Jenelle being on OnlyFans.
“If you never mentioned me, there was no reason for me to,” Jenelle wrote. “Now you’re riding out my name as long as you can until people forget about you.”
Jenelle went on to allege that Kenleigh’s obsession with “fame and ‘Teen Mom’” was likely to blame for the demise of her and David’s relationship, insisting that her ex-husband “doesn’t like fan girl behavior.”
“I really hope the next girl he dates is 10x better than you,” Jenelle later tweeted. “Maybe we can all co-parent peacefully.”
Next, Jenelle explained to the child-less Kenleigh that you have to co-parent regardless if you want to or not.
“When you have a child, you don’t have a choice but to co-parent whether you like it or not…but you wouldn’t know that because you’re not a parent,” a smug Jenelle wrote.
Kenleigh shot back that she is “more of a parent to my dog than [Jenelle and David] both are to their actual children.”
As ‘Teen Mom’ fans know, Jenelle’s eldest son currently lives with her mom Barbara in North Carolina. David currently only has a relationship with one of his three children.
Kail Lowry Breaks Ground on “KILLR” Youth Athletic Facility in Delaware
Former ‘Teen Mom 2’ star Kail Lowry kicked off her latest business venture recently by officially breaking ground on the KILLR Sports Complex, an indoor youth athletic facility located in Smyrna, Delaware.
According to a Facebook post by First State Update, the facility– which shares a name with Kail’s KILLR Podcast Network, which launched in September 2021– is anticipated to open its doors in 2026. Once it’s up and running, the multi-use youth sports facility is “expected to host leagues, training sessions, practices and community programs.”
Joining Kail for this week’s construction commencement were supporters of her new venture as well as the owner/developer of the property, and world champion boxer Bernard Hopkins, who has reportedly been following Kail’s project and is planning to return to the facility next year for the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
In addition to Kail’s sons Lincoln, Lux and Creed, Elijah Scott– Kail’s former fiancé and the father of her three youngest children– also attended the event, with fans on social media quickly noting that Kail’s rumored boyfriend (and Chris Lopez dup) Isaac was in attendance for the groundbreaking, as well.
Kail spoke about the ‘KILLR Sports Complex’ earlier this year on social media, explaining at the time that sports teams are “always looking for indoor practicing facilities.”
“I decided we can do this where I live,” she said.
Kail went on to explain that the facility will be utilized by “members” during the day and youth athletes in the afternoon. The mom of seven also revealed in April that she had already hired a general manager to “run the place, mostly day-to-day.” (This week’s announcement stated that the facility “will be operated by social media powerhouse Kail Lowry,” though it didn’t specify what Kail’s role will entail.)
“The focus of the training facility in phase one, building one, will be all turf sports,” Kail previously revealed on social media. “The goal is to eventually open a second facility that is hard-court sports– maybe put more batting cages and then basketball … .”
Chelsea Houska & Cole DeBoer Fawn Over Each Other; Chelsea Hints at Situation with Ex Adam Lind
Former ‘Teen Mom 2’ couple Chelsea Houska and Cole DeBoer cowboyed up and hit the CMA Awards last week, where the husband and wife insisted that starring on HGTV’s Down Home Fab is a dream come true, mostly because it allows them to spend a freaking ton of a lot of time together.
“We actually don’t get sick of each other,” Chelsea told Us Weekly on the red carpet. “We just have so much fun. We always do little lunch dates [so] we’re kind of lucky that we get to be together so much.”
While Cole told the outlet that balancing working together is his and Chelsea’s “most-asked question,” he claimed that the decision to work alongside his wife was pretty much a no-brainer.
“This is my best friend, so why not work together and do all the things?” Cole said.
Days after hitting the red carpet with Cole, Chelsea took to TikTok to give Cole a shoutout, while appearing to throw some (much-deserved) shade at her ex Adam Lind in the process.
“In your 20s you’ll finally leave a toxic relationship and a nice guy will come along…it is VERY important that you go with that man,” Chelsea wrote, while including various photos and videos of Cole and the couple’s children.
While Chelsea refrained from calling out Adam by name, many former “16 and Pregnant” and ‘Teen Mom 2’ fans took to the comments recalling the many seasons they watched Adam– the father of Chelsea’s teenage daughter Aubree– put his toxicity on full display, much to the frustration of Chelsea as well as her friends and family– namely her father, Randy Houska.
“All us watching from the beginning couldn’t wait till this love found you,” one person wrote.
“Your dad knew it all along!” another commented, to which Randy replied, “I had a hard time convincing her tho!”

Thank God Elliott changed his name…imagine the confusion sharing your name with your mom’s new guy…(But I can imagine him going “Another one?!” Damn, this kid has seen (for some he was a bit young) all of her roller coaster relationships…but don’t worry guys, this is the one….has she said for every boyfriend before too.
Teen Mom began with a valuable message, but over time, it shifted into a profit-driven showcase of dysfunction, abuse, and untreated struggles. What was meant to be a cautionary tale became a stage for chaos. As the parents grew older, their children were often forced to grow up much sooner than they would have. My hope is that these kids, who have carried the weight of exposure and instability, find healing, stability, and the chance to thrive beyond the shadows of their parents’ choices.
Im so sick of all the “teen moms”. I wish they would all just fade away into the sunset.
1) Of course Maci and co will campaign for another show. How sad is it how inflated their lazy egos have become from all these years of us watching. As if a real job isn’t even an option.
2) Does a sports complex for children need to be called KILLR? I know it stands for initials but I wouldn’t love telling my son he’s got a ball game at KILLR today. Weird.

Not Jenelle with her delusional social media hits at David’s ex. 😂 making comments that make no real sense, just trying to upset Kenleigh, makes her look pretty jealous. I always thought she was jealous.

Bentley, GTFOH, no one wants to see your alcoholic mother on another reality tv show. Tell her to get up off her ass and get a real job. The reason Teen Mom ended was because people were sick of all of you, ratings tanked big time. You seem to be a sweet kid, don’t let your mom ruin you with reality tv. The show should have ended 15 years ago.
We can give him a break, he was literally born on TV. He doesn’t know life outside of reality TV. Of course he wants his mom to be in another show, he doesn’t know anything else
I am utterly perplexed by Jenelle’s comments about co parenting, considering she’s gone to great lengths to make sure David doesn’t see their daughter. She’s a real odd one, that Jenelle Evans.
ehhhh i don’t like jenelle and hate this comes off like i do but legally david’s not allowed to see ensley until he gets a psychological evaluation which he’s refused to do, and even when she was with david she’d try to be nice to nathan to make it easier on the both of them but david wouldn’t let her and wouldn’t let kaiser say anything bad about nathan on one episode as well. she is a crappy parent but something i’ve noticed is that she’ll surprisingly try to be a good coparent and maybe she’d be capable of having better relationships with her exes if she didn’t have such horrible taste in men
She tried to frame him as a pedo, to take him down and make sure he never saw ensley. I don’t like David any more than I like Jenelle but she has DEFINITELY gone to great lengths to keep them apart. She is the whole reason he has to get an eval and the whole reason he has a restraining order. The judge didn’t just do these things, Jenelle had her lawyer ask for them.
Regardless, I was only saying her comments about co parenting with David are wild after all she’s done to make sure he’s not in ensleys life. Your response is honestly just weird. You call her never ending pettiness with Barb good co parenting? And I also deeply disagree that she co parented well with Nathan.
Jenelle has never tried to coparent with any of her children’s other parents (I’m including Barb here because she’s the only parent Jace has ever known). She left Jace with Barb when he was an infant and the only time she pretended she wanted him was when she found a new soulmate and decided to play house with them. She constantly made Barb’s life hell over Jace. Not because she wanted Jace, but because she wanted to hurt Barb. Jenelle and UBT were constantly calling the cops on Barb for made up crap and they followed her to a restaurant and tried to film her having a glass of wine to ‘prove’ she wasn’t fit to raise Jace.
After Nathan broke up with her, she routinely tried to dump Kaiser with him because she wanted to go party. When that didn’t work, she moved some ‘friend’ into her house to take care of him so she could go hunt for a new soulmate. After she moved swamp monster in, he was so insanely jealous of Nathan he completely took over any communication with Nathan about Kaiser because he didn’t want Jenelle to talk to or text with him. He tried to pull the same crap with Barb and Barb wouldn’t have it. Both Jenelle and UBT refused to let Kaiser see Nathan when it was his court ordered time because UBT didn’t want Jenelle to have contact with him. Nathan went online several times and begged for money for a lawyer because they refused to let Kaiser go to Nathan’s when it was his parenting time.
Jenelle is the one that asked for a protective order to keep UBT from Ensley and she’s also the one that asked for a psych evaluation before he could see her. This happened because she was jealous that he’d found a new sucker to sponge off of and didn’t want her back. It wasn’t because she was actually worried about whether Ensley would be safe with him, it was because she was jealous of Kenleigh.
Jenelle has NEVER tried to be a decent parent or coparent.
Okay but like, David (allegedly) tried to strangle Jace and shot their dog in front of the kids, so he SHOULD have to undergo a psych eval before being allowed to see Ensley.
Granted, Jenelle should also have to undergo a psych eval before being allowed to see her kids, but there’s no one to take in all of them so no one’s trying to take them from her.
Very well said phoebe! And yes Liz. Nobody is disputing that David is dangerous. The dispute is that Jenelle is a good co parent.
And Jenelle defended David.
David should go to prison for 5 years in North Carolina, he has strangled 3 times. Twice women , one was Pregnant(Olivia)and one was a child, Jace, Jenelle’s biological son. Jenelle lied and defended David. She should have caught a child endangerment charge. North Carolina is immensely stupid.
Nice to Nathan? Did we watch the same show? Not even before David was in the picture.
